My heating system failed in the middle of the night. I had a Worry Free contract with PSEG. They would not help me because my ladder wasn't tall enough and the floor of the attic was not complete. I called Jim Hansson who had fixed my air conditioner a few years ago. He came to my house within an hour, inspected my 20 year old furnace and air conditioning system. He advised that I replace it, if not he could repair it but, due to age it would eventually need replacement. He went back to his office and prepared a proposal. The numbers were fair and he could replace it the next day. We made an agreement. The crew arrived at 7:00 AM. They placed plywood over the areas that did not have a floor. Then they removed the old furnace and air conditioner and replaced the entire system in one day. They two guys working were efficient, knowledgeable and skillful. They actually worked an hour overtime to make sure we had heat that day. The following day they finished the connections for the air conditioner. I highly recommend Jim Hansson and his guys. Gas furnace at my parents' house wouldn't kick on this year. With cold temp days starting up, I didn't want to take a chance of leaving them dependent on just a space heater. I called up Hansson's and had them come out and take a look. Confirmed that the 40+ year old furnace had seen it's last winter. It needed to be replaced. Luckily, Jim and his team were able to get everything set up to have them working, reliable heat by Monday. I can't recommend this company enough. They've been doing this 27 years. Jim's old school, trustworthy, and is very fair with his assessments and prices. We had an issue with my moms hot water heater. My sister called these guys on a Saturday. They came right over, gave her a quote, and proceeded to take out the old one and install a new one.
