Harrington's had been my go to car repair shop since I moved to Bayonne. I normally deal with Chuck who is a reasonable guy and charges a fair price. I've done things such as oil changes, brake pads/rotor replacement and other minor repairs. A lot of times I need to leave my car and they will call me once it's ready. This isn't a problem for me since I live nearby but it might be a problem for those who live far. They're old school, they write our name and phone number on a piece of paper and prefer cash. I wish they had a system so that all my maintenance would be logged but I understand this is Bayonne! read more

Today go to Harrington like all the other times in the past I have a bad oil leak sick as a dog worried how much iam i going to get hit. Because my wife called the dealer and just to look at it $175 My wife thought the car was under warrantee So im stressing i get the call omg i was about to hit the floor with over whelming tears $25 The honesty out standing service. The oil filter was put on loose by the oil changing place on the boarder line jc and bayonne So im buying lunch for the guys at pizza masters great place $144 No way im just going to reward honesty with minimum these guys deserve a great lunch and more. Fast, fair, affordable service. I had a scratch on the passenger side of my car it ran from the front panel onto the car door. Every place else I brought the car for an estimate was over $600 some Hit $1000. Harrington's not only beat those estimates but they turned it around in 2 days. The job was well done. Will use their services for all future needs. Updating I've now had brakes pads and rotors done as well as tire rotation and alignment and an oil change. Even though you can no longer purchase gasoline here anymore it may just be as well because they are too busy repairing cars that they wouldn't have the time to pump gas in order to ot get backlogged. They are also very family oriented. What I like the most they are willing to stop what they are doing whenever my favorite son-in-law goes by there when I have a problem with my car. To mention just I believe last week when my sun roof would not close and it was raining out I didn't want to get wet so I put my umbrella outside. I will never be able to thank them enough for the wonderful job they did on my Jeep! I had an accident and was very upset when I came to drop the Jeep off, they were so kind and comforting. They kept me updated during the entire process. They had a rental car waiting for me and made me feel like I was part of their family! Then when I picked up the Jeep, it was awesome! This place is awesome! Danny is super nice and Vince did an awesome job working on my car. My BMW 428i needed the passenger quarter panel replaced and the rim refinished...when I got to the shop for a quote there were A LOT of cars which is a good sign that they do amazing work and that people are willing to wait a little longer. I went through my insurance for the repairs and was quoted my car would be finished August 17th (about a two week wait) it was actually finished 3 days before schedule and it looked "like it never even happened." It is totally worth the trip and the wait for quality work. The paint was blended perfectly and the inside was cleaned when I went to pick it up. read more

Lets start with the way they treat their customers from the moment they walk into their business, My mother had a car accident(she is ok thank god) and we didn't know where to take the car for repairs. I had already taken my car in past so I knew they were amazing. We had the car towed and from the minute my mom got there Danny was nothing but kind and attentive. Making sure my mother was ok, he told her what she need to do as far as calling the insurance. He assured my mother that the car would be ready in a week and half and to the day he kept his word. This place is all about their customers and making sure they are taken care of, their work speaks volumes..
