Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list.

The frosting on the lemon cupcake was intensely lemony, and the chocolate frosting was rich and smooth. I and the other non-vegans at the party couldn't tell that they were vegan, and our host was delighted to know that there is a bakery nearby that caters to her needs. Valerie also worked with us to do a wedding cutting cake and executed our design preference perfectly. We talked a lot through out the time she was making the "cake" to ensure that we were on the same page. When it came to the day for me to pick-up the cake, she was on time, courteous and very excited to see my reaction to the final design. We talked for 10 minutes after exchanging the money and cake, because we got along so well! She also asked me to follow-up with her, as she wanted to see my daughter's reaction to seeing the "cake". Very sorry to hear that people did not have the same experience that I've had with her, as she really is a nice woman and does an excellent job.

I ordered a 3D Monkey cake and monkey face cupcakes from Tiana for my son's first birthday party…read more Tiana was wonderful right from the beginning...responsive to my emails, searching the web for ideas, and working with me to finalize a design for the cake. She offered to throw in a smash cake for free, and even offered to deliver it before the 1 pm party. I was so excited. At noon, I received an email from Tiana saying the cake had been damaged. She was working on fixing it. Her next email came at 1:30, saying the damage was worse than she thought, but she was still working on repairing it. That was the last time that I have heard from her. I tried to call her, no answer, and her voicemail was full. So now, throughout the party with 30 guests at my home, I was checking email, calling her, and finally, had to send my husband out to the store for a cake in the middle of his son's first birthday party. As of now, I still haven't heard from her. No explanation, no reason why she never delivered the cake or let me know what was happening. And, although I'm very disappointed about the cake, it is just a cake, and my son will never remember. I am most upset about the lack of communication by her after the fact. She is a businesswoman and a mother, I just can't comprehend how she can do this to someone. Look elsewhere for a more professional cake designer and baker.
