It's very easy to do on their website. Walking in we were greeted warmly by the staff and he explained the process to us. All the painting materials and form are on the table all set up and there shelves upon shelves of ceramic projects we can choose from. There were so many choices from small plates to big jugs and lots of seasonal and fun things for any occasion. The space is open, bright, and so colorful! It looked like there was a nice space in the back area for bigger parties. Our friend's daughter did a simple small plate ($25!) and my daughter painted a bigger skull plate ($33) and everything has a huge range it just depend on what you want to paint and how much money you want to spend. This is definitely about the experience and spending time doing something fun and relaxing together but I still got a little sticker shock. They also charge $6/kid and $10/adult studio fee. We felt very comfortable here and was not rushed The turnaround on the things we painted was very fast (less than a week!) The staff were so friendly and helpful and it was a great experience for the girls and they were very proud of their work! Staff - the owner Ann and our teacher, Christina are absolutely amazing. 2 of our kiddos attended their classes for ~3 years and we loved the overall experience. Use of different medias, the overall process, availability of camps and even showcasing your kids' artwork at the local library or Art Center - are all amazing things that we experienced here. Our kids absolutely loved coming in and spending every Monday creating. COVID was a challenge for everyone, but Ann and Christina put together an amazing plan to engage with students virtually. While most extra curriculum activities (i.e. sports) were not available, Mosaic Arts Loft provided needed activity to our kids and they were looking forward to their weekly classes. If you are looking at options for your kids in the area - I highly recommend them. They have everything set up for you and they have aprons available but I definitely encourage you to bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The instructor was great - she goes over a step by step demo and then with the whole class the instructor goes over the steps again and you end up with a piece of your choice. I ended up having time to make 3 pieces in total. Highly recommend - very fun and a nice challenge!

I love supporting local and wanted to take my teen for a pottery painting experience. The mugs we…read morewanted were all dirty, but we were assured the markings would burn off. At $40 it's a pricey mug! I understand it's not just the mug, but the paint, rent, kiln, staff expenses. But it meant we'd only be painting one item at that price. So we chatted happily while my teen painted the mug and I asked to color in a tiny heart on the side to fulfill my art craving. That tiny heart, using no additional supplies or brushes, cost me an additional $10. We used 2 colors, 2 brushes and required no guidance, but the final cost of the one mug, plus 2 studio fees (because I painted a tiny heart), without drinks, landed up being over $65! That's a little OTT, but it was a great memory with my teen. I hope the dirt on the mug actually does burn off- because at $65, I'd hope to have an unblemished lifelong memento.
