There were a few other patrons when we arrived. Our food came out in about ten minutes. I had a double cheeseburger with onion rings and Andrew had a mushroom burger. His burger had a gray mushroom sauce on it that made the burger sloppy. Andrew enjoyed it. My burger was not your typical burger. It seems to be hand made and had some seasoning on it. It was a bit too salty and and also kind of tough. It was good though. The onion rings were typical. Business really picked up while we were there with many more customers. If I were to go back I would get the chicken finger basket. One of our co-diners had that and it looked good.

Loaded with huge chunks of bell peppers, chicken, sliced tomatoes, and the perfect amount of hot banana peppers. Both of us were beyond satisfied and enjoyed our meal. If you're daring or starving they have a 24 oz burger or a 18" ~ 6 lb pizza to try. The milk shakes were delicious; and if you're going to order a pizza, either order 2 or add a glass of water on the side. This is because you're going to be done your drink before your food arrives they're so good. The staff were friendly, quick to tidy the tables as they were emptying and very polite. The dining room was bright, each table painted differently and designed by someone local. Very charming. So coming back when we have time and are driving through.

Wasn't too busy on this day, just a handful of customers. Water who also doubled as the host was great. Came and took our drink orders right away. I ordered the O'Sheas burger. Perfect. My wife had the Jambalaya - definitely not award winning despite what the menu said. The kids shared a shepherd's pie which was on special this day. They really enjoyed it. When they asked how I wanted my eggs, I made sure I told them over hard, because my worst breakfast turnoff is snotty eggs where the white are running. Runny yolks - good. Runny whites - revolting. I am a pro at being disappointed on eggs when I go out, so in a fast food restaurant, my expectations were in check. However, when my breakfast came out. My.... eggs.... were.... over... hard! Like I asked!!! I'm not kidding! This doesn't happen in places where I pay $15 for bacon and eggs. A&W Express staff listened and delivered! Most memorable was their honey garlic crispy chicken wings - they were hot and crispy as promised, and low key would give Korean fried chicken a run for their money. I don't recall much about their pho, but as someone who has pho at least once a week, it takes a lot for pho to be memorable so take it as a solid contender at this place! Definitely worth stopping at when you're in Drumheller; I'm definitely coming back!

The food is generally solid in quality and in large enough portions to fill you up. The menu is fairly extensive, and I generally don't struggle to find something to eat no matter my current mood of cravings. As a bonus at this location, they have a fairly extensive lunch menu that is guaranteed to arrive in 15 minutes or it's free. It includes your meal, drink (choice from any of their bottomless options, soda, coffee, tea, etc.) and side (fries, salad, etc.). Often I find lunch menus to be "half" portions or something similar - this one is not, and you get the full servings.
