Tonight's ordeal was this. We walked in and as usual, there was NO ONE at the hostess stand. As we were going to the bar, we carried on into the lounge side. As my father has dementia, I had turned to talk him as he was confused about where the washroom was. I was busy dealing with him when the manager yelled at us from behind the bar (about half way back the bar from where we were) that we needed to open our eyes and read and actually follow the Wait to be Seated Sign. As it was extremely snotty, I asked her if she would like to rephrase it. At which point another customer seated decided to yell and swear at us. The manager then joined in with this same behaviour. I asked her who the manager was, and she indicated herself. I asked where the owner was and she told me to f#%k off, she would give me his number and I could come back when he was there and that I could "Get out." Now I am trying to calm down an 80 year old man with dementia who is bawling at the treatment we received. WHO DOES THIS TO CUSTOMERS? Especially since business in small towns are struggling?

The rest of their menu is pretty good too- I'd recommend the Murph's chips both loaded and not loaded. Only real downside is sometimes the karaoke music gets a little loud to have conversations and service is intermittent sometimes, depending on who is your server. All in all, Murph's a great place to go for wings or a drink with friends!
