My husband and I lost our camper due to a tree falling on it, we have one specific camper that we want for a replacement and cannot find it remotely close to where we live in South Alabama, San Antonio RV had one them being 622 miles away we wanted to ensure the camper was in good condition. I called them and they insured me that the camper was in great condition told me that they would get more pictures the next day well I never heard from the sales guy that I was speaking to. Come to find out he was off the next day so my husband called spoke to a different salesperson again he was insured this camper was in great condition the sells person was supposed to call towards the end of the day because we told him that we were going to be on the way to look at it and purchase it if it look does nice as the pictures and passed our inspection, needless to say no phone call and later found out he left work early. Going against our better judgement we decided to head that way. Long story short after taking off work, driving 622 miles one way, spending over $400 gas hotel and food that camper was a utter disaster. The exterior was absolutely horrible It would have been an embarrassment to be at a campground (AI did a good job with the pictures). The floor and cabinets in the kitchen were soft due to a previous water leak, countertops were wrinkeld and pealing, none of the pass-through or exterior door latches worked, they had fixed a spot by rivets which left a gap where water could enter on the exterior, the exterior seals did not exist, we asked them about the tires, knowing if we bought the camper we would be driving 622 miles home with it they said the tires were made in 2021 we asked him if they were going to replace them due to recommendations of replacing camper tires every 5 years they said no the tires were in good condition. The tires were an extreme bad shape they said well there's a shop we use and it'll be $4,500 for six tires who in their right mind would charge or pay $700 per tire? The list can go on and on things that we saw while inspecting interior and exterior of that camper. And they still proceeded to tell us that that camper was in great condition. Just be aware if you plan on traveling to this business or buying a used camper from them Do a thorough inspection or hire an inspector.

Two vehicles you can think about: Newmar Dutch Star - all you ever wanted in a motor coach. Literally. My wife was outraged with the fact it didn't have a fireplace. The salesman said "the floor is heated." "Problem" solved, ha ha. By the way, the salesman wasn't doing anything. He didn't have to. I sat down in the recliner and had no desire to move. That vehicle is nicer than most people's homes, which it should be for the significant price. Then there's the Grand Design 380FL. The roof - the Blue Compass salesperson let us hit a sample of the roof with a hammer. It did no damage. It has a lifetime warranty on an RV roof. Let that sink in. It's a great, great vehicle with tons of space and a marvelous front living room. It costs - about as much as you'd expect. A really nice 5th wheel. My wife wanted it but getting a truck for it would cost me almost as much as the 5th wheel. This is not a major RV show - the Florida SuperSale is going on this week & I'm sure the Austin show is coming soon. It is good enough and I dont have to go far to see premium vehicles.

Subject: Trailer Damage Report - Negligence While In Your Care…read more Dear Outdoor Living RV Team, I am writing to express my profound dismay and frustration regarding the state in which my trailer was returned after being in your care. The damages inflicted on my trailer were completely preventable, and I am absolutely upset about this situation. I trusted you to take care of my trailer, but when I got it back, it was covered in mold and cost over $1,400 to fix. My insurance is charging a $500 deductible, which I feel you are responsible for paying. Timeline of Events: Tuesday, May 9, 2023 I dropped off my trailer at 8:00AM for it to be resealed and to get an inspection. I told Cory that the last time it rained, I noticed water on the floor of my RV but didn't know where the leak was coming from, and for him to please check all the sealed joints. He agreed and quoted me $300 for that job and $238 for the 28-Point-Inspection. He told me that morning that it might take up to 2 weeks before he could look at it, at which point I asked to take it back home and bring it back closer to when they would be able to look at it. His response no, that he preferred to have it on the lot in case he had time to look at it sooner. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 During that very day and night, we got a ton of rain and wind, so, knowing my trailer had leaks somewhere, I texted Cory to see if my trailer was covered and if not, if the water leaks were taken care of. I was unable to reach Cory by text, so after calling quite a few times, I finally got hold of Cory who said he would take care of it. I offered at the time to go check on my trailer myself, and to dry it up if need be, but again, Cory said no, he would take care of it. What Cory ended up doing was putting a tarp over my trailer WITHOUT LOOKING AT ALL to see if water had leaked into my trailer. It was there to have leaks fixed, of course water got in. But no, instead, it was left there to rot for two more weeks causing a ton of mold damage (see photos). Two Weeks Later... I eventually get a call from Cory about 2 weeks or so after that initial date. I was excited, I thought my camper was ready to get back on the road, all fixed up and ready to go. But no, I was told to come look at the damage that Cory's carelessness caused, and to call my insurance to have it fixed. The insurance asked me for an estimate, which I tried getting from Cory, but he completely stopped responding to me. I found someone else who was responsible and professional, got my estimate and was able to get my trailer fixed. These damages caused me a lot of trouble and money. It's hard to believe a company like yours could treat a customer's property this way and then not try to rectify the situation. I'm really disappointed with Outdoor Living RV, and I wrote them this letter asking for some compensation and still did not heard from them. So I do NOT RECOMMEND this place ever!

Unfortunately, my RV and I lost the fight. I had some pretty hefty damage down one whole side of the trailer, and the back wall was ripped loose With a about a 6 inch gap you could see into the bathroom through. Class A worked their magic and made that trailer look like new in what I thought was a pretty short time. I could not have been happier with their service. Last year, my slide wouldn't go back in. I labored to get it in manually and took it to be worked on at Class A. They've got it working like new. While it was in the shop, they also resealed my roof for me. While I was there, I asked about RV storage. Not only did they have it, they had it for 1/3 the price I was paying in San Antonio. Even with the added drive to Pipe Creek, I save time because I'm not dealing with the traffic getting to the Tally Road area. I recommend Class A for any service you need done on your RV. It is a very good company. The office staff is very friendly. Oh... I should mention how one of their technicians stayed on the phone with me for over an hour telling me how to get my slide back in manually so that I could tow it to the shop. He was awesome!

They got us in right away but had to finish the work the next day so we were able to stay in the small rv park Adjacent to the shop in pipe creek. This is a gem of a repair place because we all Know you're going to need a repair on that rv! Hope we Don't have to visit them again but if we need a repair in the hill country we know where to go!
