If you're unsatisfied with your alteration, better find a different place than attempt to have them fix their own mistakes. They will fix nothing and get mad at you for calling out their mistake by scoffing at you and mocking you. I came in needing a tie altered for work. The tie is a clip on tie so I needed the length altered since I could not untie and retie the tie. I showed exactly what I needed done and how much to take off the tie. About 5 days later I came back in to pick up the tie. I grabbed the tie and walked out, upon further examination in my car, it was quite obvious the triangle where the tie comes to a point was two different lengths on each side so the tie looked lopsided. I walked back in right after and pointed out my concerns. The kind lady at the front agreed with my observation on the different lengths and called in the man in the back to come look. She pulled out a ruler and showed him how uneven the tie was. Immediately the man sarcastically scoffs, shakes his head, grabs the tie and tosses it back to me. He then starts raising his voice and speaks to his assistant to translate back to me saying he says it's fine and he's not fixing anything all the while shaking his head. So I then point out to him the areas of concern and he pulls out a ruler to measure. The ruler CLEARLY shows two different lengths on either end of the point and even the man can see this but again he goes I'm not fixing it, it's fine and continues shaking his head, rolling his eyes, and scoffs. He then says "just leave, just leave, just leave, we won't charge you, we won't charge you, we won't charge you" and I tell him I already paid multiple times. He is not listening to me, continues to talk over me and keeps telling me to leave and he is not fixing it and won't charge me. At this point I have probably said 5 times that I already paid. Eventually he hears me and goes "how much?" I tell him 20 dollars and he pulls out his personal wallet and tosses a 20 at me. I tell him "I don't want your money, I just wanted it fixed but if you're not going to do that it's fine. I just can't believe how extremely rude you have been to me. I came in and was nothing but nice addressing my concerns, I wasn't mad or anything but you sir have been so unprofessional and rude to me." I tell them I have used this company many times in the past which is true, the past 2 years I have used this place, and I told them I will never be coming back because of how rudely I was treated by this gentleman with the eye rolling, scoffing, head shaking, voice raising, tossing both the tie and money back in my face as if I am burdening him for asking him to fix his mistake. Attached are pictures of the botched job. It's not horrible but it is quite obvious the triangle point are different lengths and that he did not care about being precise when it came to altering what I asked them to alter.

If it weren't for lapels I would have a hard time dropping off and picking up my dry cleaning and laundry as I walk with a service dog who helps me up and down curbs, over rough parking lots, and uneven sidewalks. Lapels makes my life easier. I've talked to Steve a few times. He's kind and thoughtful. It's not easy running a dry cleaning-laundry business. I can't imagine having to keep track of thousands of articles of clothing and laundry. Steve does a great job. I don't remember how I found him, but I'm so glad I did.

It came back completely ruined. I figured it was a one-time occurrence so I returned to have them clean an expensive duvet cover & matching shams. I returned to pickup the items & they lost my shams, claiming I never dropped them off. I always wash and dry clean everything together; belts with the outfits, shams with duvet covers so the fabrics are "worn" the same & match for as long as possible. I am furious I will never again have the matching pillowcases for this beautiful duvet. Avoid this business at all costs.

Everything is pressed perfectly (no double creases in my pants - YAY!). I recently had a button replaced and they did a really good job matching the buttons - which were pretty unique. I've also had pants stitched and while there is some visible indication of the repair, I'm still pretty impressed with the work because it was a pretty big rip! Prices are a tad bit on the higher side - when compared to others - but for the speedy service and quality work I figure it's worth it.

He said I could pay with a credit card, that they charge a surcharge for. Not wanting to pay that, I asked if I could just pay when I pick up the items, which I have done in the past. He refused, saying the money never gets collected and he ends up losing money. He left me zero options to utilize his business, other than paying more to get my items drycleaned. And he didn't seem to care less when I told them I would just take them somewhere else. Considering dry cleaners are a dime a dozen, he certainly enforces his pre-paid policy and doesn't make it easy to do so.
