HOWEVER, this most recent visit, after using my credit card to pay for service it was used within an hour in a fraudulent transaction to buy a Sam's Club membership & $1000+ goods there. They have plenty of chairs for foot massages and am usually able to get an appointment right away. The front desk manager, Julie, is very nice and welcoming. Best massage I've ever had! I saw Joe for a 90-minute deep tissue massage on Monday . He worked out my tight neck and back muscles with a perfect firm pressure. Amazing deep tissue massage! Me and a friend came in, and we talked to the front desk last emphasizing that we both just want a head neck and shoulders massage. She said definitely they could do that but there has to be a bit of full body involved and we said okay that's fine, as long as it's mainly head neck and shoulders. When i let my masseuse (hidi) know i had a migraine she understood her assignment and took care of me. Been coming here for a while prices raised alittle but but understandable ...for $45 you get a foot and body massage ... you can pay alittle extra for hot stones , or salt rub, we tried the salt rub today it was really nice , the room is filled with a bunch of massage beds next to each other playing light music. I always like a firm massage so I always request a man , your feet get soaked in warm water while you lay and relax from your scalp to your feet. I like the koi pond when you go in . The lobby is nice chairs and small refrigerator with waters , there's a nice rice tea in coffee maker with cups and little varied of treats cookies and candies. My neck and shoulder felt stiff for the whole week. Since I was gifted several foot massage coupons/certificates before covid, I thought I would finally use them. I got an appointment right away and requested for a female masseuse with strong hands. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to seasalt, ginger or hot stone. I got the ginger treatment for additional $7. I think they add the ginger in the water and rub your feet with them towardsthe end. It was nice! The massage part was not happening for me. I didn't really feel the pressure. It was more like rubbing me with lotion/oil. I know I should say something, but I didn't want to be rude. I really didn't have a high expectation, but was hoping to get some relief on my stiff shoulders. Lesson learned and should make an advance appointment with my regular masseuse in downtown. read more

Went for a foot massage today with son at 3pm. Had a gentleman named Ken ( I think). He didn't do any pressure points on my feet. Barely rubbed my calf's ... didn't do my heels . Not even the front of them leg muscles . The foot massage is meant to target pressure points in your feet . I always ask for ppl with strong hands . Not sure if he was a real mausous. He did my shoulders nice . Even though he didn't do a very good job with the feet I did give him a $10. They need to work on pressure points for the feet , calf's ... and it was so hot in there ... on top of that this person placed a think towel on me . I was dying of heat . Took my mom for a birthday present here for Salt Stone Foot Massages for both of us . I had a great experience with Jessica, only to find out the other masseuse Kelly, DID NOT TOUCH MY MOM's FEET AT ALL. My mom is 70 y/o, she doesn't have time of day to lie about this. Her feet were barely touched she says, AND Kelly never used the hot stones on her. Her feet are dry and not oily to prove it. She claims Kelly only touched her feet from outside the towel and the closest they got was massaging her calves, barely touching her feet. I call to ask about this mix up because I was charged for both Salt Stone Foot Massages. Receptionists calls Jessica and confirms that they BOTH used the rocks. No disbelief on their end and no apology, just plain telling me their employees are right. And I'm really sad about this because Jessica was SO SWEET, only to find out I tipped both of these women just to be lied to. ON MY MOM's BIRTHDAY GIFT. Unbelievable and I've come here for years, first time having an experience where they willingly lied about the service provided. I trust the employees here at the Happy Day Spa as they have always provided a safe environment for relaxation. The receptionists up front are always warm and professional, like Julie. At the New Year, the Happy Day Spa has reinvested in themselves with a facelift: a fresh coat of paint on the walls, new linens and pillows. They are once again offering light refreshments and sweets in the waiting room. And they continue to provide great service. I've been here to this location several times this year. It's honestly not consistent but I felt for the price it was doing the job. I went on Friday night at 7:30 for a full body message and after that.... I will never return again. I asked for a female but they said only male was available. I was so tense I decided to just do it. Big mistake. The guy rubbed his private in my hand twice. I had to move my hand under my body which was so uncomfortable. I felt sick to my stomach. I tried to be positive and not make assumptions but it was horrible and I felt disgusting and disrespected. I've had a full body message here before with a male and had a very professional experience. Unfortunately this was not like that time. The message was not good. Anna, Julie, and Lucy are who I would recommend for full body massages. All three of them are great and I'm always satisfied after I see any of them. They all know how to massage with a good amount of pressure. Not too light and not too hard either. I've seen others before and they either massage me to the point where it doesn't even feel good or it feels like they are barely even touching me. But these three ladies are who I will come to see. For the foot massage, I don't really have a preference. Everyone so far has been good. Most of the time I end up falling asleep anyway, lol. I came to Happy Day Spa with my 2 daughters so 3 of us for Full Body Massage, each person $50 for 1 hour. They just increased the prices usually only $30 per hour before covid, so I can understand about increased prices. Everything went smooth until it was time for the tip, I tip $10 each person. I thought it was already generous 20% tip but unfortunately they demanded minimum $15 each person tip. I felt it was not right the way they demanded tip then I walked away to the front desk and luckily the lady said apologize and said they shouldn't do that. I got the 1hr Swedish body massage (2nd time here) I would like to share just a few points :) -For full body massage, there are private rooms where each has 2 beds inside. All the rooms I have seen were supper clean -please expect to take off all clothings, have your body lay down facing the massage table, and with a big sheet covering over your entire body. (My masseur doesn't understand English so there were no instruction on what to do beforehand, but it was not big deal, you can just ask them) -my masseur was thoughtful in asking if the pressure was fine. I didn't really care or know what to expect so I just said it was fine and didn't admit that I was in pain at some points. -she focused a lot on adding force on the whole entire time since I lied that it was fine a few times -despite my back was a bit sore at the end, it was a good experience to try I guess. On the positive side, my entire back felt loose, flexible, and relax an hour afterword. -expect to give a tip (you will be offered a small folder) -the only thing I would change is letting my masseur know beforehand to not add too much pressure read more

They are horrible and flat out liars! I had a gift certificate and was told I was entitled to a 1 hour hot stone with essential oil. Half way through the massage, I asked the masseuse when was he going to apply the hot stone. No response. When he told me to turn over on my back I again asked, where's the hot stone? He Immediately had me turn back over on my stomach and preceded to apply the hot stone on my back in a vigorous rough way for approximately 3 minutes. He had me turn back over on my back and smacked my legs a few times and said Done. WTH! Went to front counter to complain and the same woman who said I was getting a hot stone looked at me and retracted what she had initially said your certificate said 1 hour with essential oil. I said you're the one who told me the certificate said hot stone. She continued to deny she said that. I even saw the certificate laying there and saw she had crossed out the hot stone verbiage.
