Here are a few reasons why I love them: 1. Everyone that works here are amazing! They are so kind, friendly, and really loves dogs. I have never had a bad experience, and they have always treated us with such kindness. 2. They post JUST ENOUGH on Instagram where it makes you feel comfortable knowing they're having fun. Some people like watching their dogs via live cameras. Yes, that has its perks, but then you find yourself constantly watching and monitoring. Instead, at LAK9, someone is playing and referring the dogs, filming the best content, and that's enough to keep you sane. 3. If anything happens to Topanga, we get an immediate text. For example, one time they noticed hives. They texted us with photos, told us they are closely monitoring, and keeping us in the loop. They are very responsive, so we never need to worry. 4. Finally, today was a bit tough since we had to take Topanga to the hospital. We were supposed to fly out tonight and board Topanga, but unfortunately, that couldn't happen. I left a voicemail letting LAK9 know that we had to cancel. Within MINUTES, Dave, the owner, gave me a call. I thought we were going to talk logistics about the cancellation, or what the fee would look like. Nope. Instead, he called just to check-in on Topanga and to see how she was doing. We also got a text from Leslie who let us know that she will put the reservation on hold just in case, and checking-in on Topanga as well. This was a small gesture, but it really meant a lot to us. In the end, this place is fantastic. I cannot recommend it enough!

I normally don't post reviews, but I wanted to express how great Jeff's service was. Our dog is only 1yrs old and its difficult to have just anyone watch her. She can be a handful. But Jeff assured us that she would be in good hands and communicated with us via text each time he walked her. My fiance really appreciated that. It was great that we could enjoy ourselves without any worry about our dog. The price was great and just the assurance that our Bella was in good hands was well worth it. They require the first two rounds of vaccines at lease and keep the puppies separated from the grown dogs to prevent spread of disease. I was thrilled to bring my baby in. She was ripping the house apart. We bought the three week package which includes daily one on one trainings plus a weekly owner private training session. So far one week down and I am seeing major improvements. We brought our five year old to the training to listen in. This week has been much easier for our daughter. She isn't running away or as scared of our pups nipping bites. She has even practiced the training we learned together at ISS. Two more weeks to go and I'll update yall. So far highly recommend Marlen and ISS for your puppy!

Instead of guided interactions, it was mostly chaotic, with limited supervision from the staff. The staff only paid attention to the young students, those close to their own age. At several moments, more dominant puppies were overwhelming the more timid ones, and the intervention from staff was either too late or not sufficient. This made the experience feel uncomfortable and not very secure. Also, I was hoping to receive more professional guidance and education regarding puppy behavior and proper socialization. However, there was very little instruction provided, only some basic comments without much depth. Overall, I would not recommend this class.
