A box of dozen were given to me as a gift from the husb for Mother's Day. I was so happy and excited, it's been almost a year since I've been wanting to try these donuts. Being on these parts of town, I've been curious. When I drive by depending on the time there's a line of people waiting for donuts. The location is nice with a parking lot off a one way road. The inside is an open area like most of the donut places. He arrived around 10, which most donuts were still available. I really was craving a pink raised donut and they only had cake pink frosted. I was disappointed that the frosting wasn't as a strong flavor and the cake donut freshness didn't last through the day. The one thing I was really sad about was our raw donut glazed twist. I never had a raw donut before. I was looking forward to it too. Enjoyed the maple bar with its frosting being delicious, not too sweet and the dough was airy with a little bounce. Well, what can I say about Happy Donuts? They are America's favorite food, just behind pizza. Happy donut never disappoints. The donuts are always fresh (a guarantee because they sell out every day). I highly recommend the old-fashioned buttermilk ( made the old-fashioned way ) or the apple fritter. It has the correct amount of apple and is cooked, so all of the dough is cooked. That is a problem at other shops. The cost is around $20 a dozen (I know, where is the $5 dozen). They are open until 3:00 pm, but I would set the alarm, put on the slippers, and head for the donut calling your name. If you want the best selection, set the alarm for 8:00 am and don't hit the snooze button. But please take two minutes and brush the fangs. No one needs your breath in the early morning. Besides, the donuts will taste better. FYI: they give you napkins, and they have milk so you can eat your favorite on the way home. read more

There was a line that moved quickly once I got inside/ordered and the process was smooth + the employees were very kind. Everything looked amazing, but I got my favorite all time donut: boston cream. My family got original glazed, sprinkle, and chocolate glazed to try. We all loved the donuts. They are not overly greasy or heavy.. this is a problem I run into at other donut shops. Besides donuts they also have coffee, boba tea, milk, juice, soda, cinnamon rolls, scones, croissants, etc. A dozen costs around $15-17 depending on what you choose. Single donut prices are around $1.15-2.50 depending on the donut of course. The price for a dozen donut holes is around $2.50. Best donuts I've ever had. Everrrrrr. Ordered more than 1.5 dozen of donuts for a doctor's office plus our family cuz I thought this was just another "pretty good" donut shop. Ate the chocolate old fashioned I ordered and was like, "This is the best one I've ever had!" My sis bit into her Apple fritter and gasped, "Oh my gosh, you HAVE to try this." For the time we came in, they had a decent selection. We got three donuts (a glaze twist, sprinkle cake donut, and a French crueler). The best one was probably the glaze twist. These are the best donuts in town. They are a local donut shop with a local donut feel. Nothing "special" about these donuts other than they do it perfectly. Your basic donut assortment done to perfection. Not sure why they just taste the best in town. It they do. No over the top flavors or concoctions like other spots. The COVID-19 experience was super organized and easy. They had taped lines both inside and out and the huge plastic glass. At no point did I feel squished, rushed or at risk.
