I hurt my back and went in for a 60min message. The masseuse immediately noticed the spot I had injured and did wonders to it!

TERRIBLE SERVICE! RUDE & EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! On 1/22/26, I was 5 mins into my massage the same woman who just approved/redeemed my Groupon stormed into the room wagging her finger at me shouting "NO NO NO" repeatedly. I'm confused at what was happening as I'm laying on the table undressed as the room door flung wide open without any warning. I ask her to explain what the issue was but there was an evident language barrier. I realized this matter wasn't going to be quickly resolved so I asked for her to give me time to get dressed. She used her phone to translate the word "expired" then repeated "No! No! You need to pay money". I explained money was paid and asked if I had to pay additional fees. She didn't understand my question. Once again I asked for her to leave the room and to close the door so I could get dressed. Having a conversation with someone who thinks I owe them money while being naked is not ideal. I was extremely uncomfortable! She charged into that room like I stole money from her purse, she didn't knock, say excuse me or apologize for interrupting. The woman finally closed the door but insisted on staying inside the room while I got dressed. Are you serious?! She then called someone on the phone to help translate because she didn't understand me when I asked "what would be the additional cost after subtracting the amount that was paid for the Groupon", I was not going to pay full price. She kept repeating Groupon got the money not her. I believe the woman on the phone explained how Groupon works to her. She wanted me to pay $75 in addition to the $67 that was already paid for the gifted Groupon. I asked her the original price and was told $120. The math is not adding up, I refused to pay that amount. For $142 I could go somewhere that is actually nice. This place had me in a bright room with a large window that was missing blinds & curtains and it was facing the street. No dim lights or music of any kind at this location. No calming mood was set at all. On top of that, the rude and unprofessional service I received was utterly appalling! This is not how you treat customers! Btw I called 2 hrs ahead of time to make my appt, I informed them I had a Groupon and offered to give the voucher number before I arrived but was told to wait until arrival. On arrival I showed my voucher and the woman even took my phone from my hand to look at it closer. Apparently both of us didn't realized it had expired just a few days ago. She redeemed my voucher then later overreacted instead of just kindly asking for me to either pay more for my massage, don't pay more but offer a shorter massage, or just honor the Groupon as a courtesy because I'm already naked on the table and she had already redeemed my voucher. Never in my life have I witnessed such despicable behavior from an establishment. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! read more

I told the guy that he was massaging me to hard he laughed and then said sorry but kept going hard it was hurting i couldn't wait for it to be over 0 relaxing at all. I payed a decent amount for my partner and i to get the massage and as we were on our way out they front desk lady demanded a tip. She just yelled "TIP TIP" and my bf and i just looked at each other. We're both shy to say no so we still tipped $20. Tip is completely OPTIONAL. I went to Happy Feet today to claim my voucher from Groupon. I had purchased a groupon a few months and needed to redeem. I called a few days ahead to schedule an appointment. About an hour before my appointment, the receptionist called and asked if I could come a few minutes earlier. My masseuse was Mark. Long story short, the whole experience is lackluster. There's definitely a language barrier between myself and the people who work at Happy Feet. I feel they definitely speak Mandarin (maybe Korean). The receptionist was watching a live stream of 4 Chinese girls. When I scheduled my appointment, the receptionist mumbled when confirming my appointment. I initially thought, they were more of a walk in establishment and didn't think much of it. When she called me an hour before, I asked if I could tip in card, because I didn't have cash on hand, but she mumbled again (I figured to drop by the ATM anyways). When the massage was over, I handed the $20 and asked for change, but she just said "Thank You." I stood there a few seconds afterwards, and she asked if my massage was good and told me to come again. The masseuse didn't say anything throughout my session- which isn't the problem. He started off very gentle and eventually added a little more pressure. But he never asked for adjustments. I thought the massage was ok. At the time of my massage, the I could hear the liquor store next door was going through an altercation. I don't know if it was a homeless person or someone just aggravated, but glass was shattered and the police were called. Funny enough, I dozed in and out through my massage. I know I was snoring, because my snore would wake me up. When Mark finished, he lifted the towel over my face, instead of telling me he was done --which I thought was really unprofessional. Maybe he thought I was still asleep. The building is on the corner of Olympic and Arlington Ave. The parking was hard to get into. You have to know immediately where it is, otherwise you'd miss it. You can definitely argue, that I could have been more assertive or clear myself. I can see why they were on Groupon - and probably I get what I pay for; so take my review collectively with others on Yelp. 1. I asked for high pressure and she continued to use low pressure, I wasn't sure if she just wanted to save her energy or was extremely weak. Especially when massaging my legs, she barely used any pressure 2. She kept pressing my bone beside my pressure points which made me think that she didn't have adequate training, like was it her first day on the job? 3. Why were the blinds wide open when the windows were facing the streets and I was supposed to undress... I know I could've closed them myself but it just felt careless 4. The parking lot entrance is so tight, I was stressed trying enter because I was at a weird angle and it was hard to adjust because it's such a big street with constant traffic. We were asked to pay upfront, massaged through rough towels for at least 80% of the 90 minute massage, my masseuse had very rough callused hands, my boyfriend's masseuse was hacking and coughing up his lungs throughout the 90 mins, the door to our room was left wide open leaving us visible from the waiting room, the receptionist came in and had a loud 5 minute conversation, staff was very unpleasant, very pushy about a tip after TERRIBLE service and THEN followed to our car after not wanting to tip. Well I came in for a partial body massage ( they don't only do feet massages). I must have told the masseuse (who also ran the front desk which was a huge inconvenience) over 20 times both before and during the session that the only parts of my body that I wanted her to massage was my lumbar back and my hamstrings. I told her, I showed her, and I even squirmed and rose my voice where she continued to massage my shoulders and other areas that I specially did NOT want to be touched. After half of my 90 min massage was over she FINALLY understood my instructions but by that time I was pretty pissed. To start I originally scheduled my appointment at 4pm with a male masseur and some time around 3pm I received a call back asking if they can move my appointment to 4:30. 30 minutes later isn't a big deal so I said sure. When I got there at 4:25, there was a lady at the desk who asked what kind of massage I wanted. I said deep tissue massage, which was 120 for 90 mins. In my head I thought, that's a bit pricy compared to other parlors I've been to in the area but really wanted to give this place a try. So I said that was fine and used card, then she proceeded to ask "how much tip did I want to leave?" I was a bit confused because I tip based off how good the massage is, but asking me to tip before I even get a massage is ridiculous! I brush it off and give a 25 dollar tip now I'm at 145 that I've spent here. So I get taken to a room and as I'm waiting for my masseur, the lady comes back in and says he'll be with me in a couple minutes. My massage didn't start till 4:55. During my massage, the masseur really gave me a Deep Tissue massage, I mean he had strong hands... (hence why I gave this place two stars) here is the problem, he literally just focused on my back and I mean for 80 mins of the massage. I am pretty muscular and the entire time I was just thinking "are you going to keep digging into my back?" Mind you, they had asked if I wanted to do my feet and body massage and I said no, just full body massage no feet and to use oil. This man only used oil on my back and neck. Gave about 2 mins of attention to the back of my legs, didn't do my glutes (it's a muscle)... then the last 5 mins he flips me over and I tell him not to do my head and instead if he can focus on my pecs (figured since he didn't do any other part of my body)... he said okay then proceeds to do my arms for about 2 mins each and then pats my legs and swings them from side to side, up n down... then says finish. I was so confused. I've never left a massage place this unsatisfied. When I was getting ready to leave the lady at the desk asked how was it. I told her the truth. It was whatever. This was our second visit here. The first time was perfect -- they listened to our requests, and we tipped $20 each. This time, we booked a 60-minute massage through the same Groupon listing. We arrived early for our 8:30 appointment but weren't seen until 8:45. My partner repeatedly asked for lighter pressure, but the masseuse kept reverting to the original pressure, leaving her in pain and tensing up. They also kept adjusting her underwear lower after she moved it back up. Although we still tipped $5 on a $45 service out of respect, we didn't feel this session deserved more. As someone in the service industry, the way they pushed for a higher tip was uncomfortable. Then i called back again an hour later before i drove all the way there to confirm with her that it would be $90 for a couples massage and she said yes. They are open at this time. Unfortunately, I did not have the greatest experience here. I have never wanted to leave so badly from a massage before. I also felt like a piece of chicken getting seasoned. 1. They don't close the door when you're getting your massage. That was very disturbing. I can smell the food that they were making. 2. Place is on the 2nd floor of a small business building. It was raining when my sister and I arrived and one of the massage therapists came outside to the parking lot with an umbrella to walk us in. Inside is clean. My massage with the female therapist was just ok. I asked for firm pressure and she didn't really give it much effort. It was very therapeutic, not relax or feel good massage. Just what I needed and I'll be going back frequently. My massage therapist was a man and he was good - great pressure on my feet and legs, but the biggest turn off was that he answered his cell phone three times while he was massaging me. (From $20 to over $100) After receiving one hour massage at the Happy Feet (body 30 min + reflexology 30 min), I felt like this place is the best out of all other places I've been to. I made an appointment with two of my other friends and we were all placed in one room, which we requested when making an appointment. We enjoyed our time together and all three of us were extremely satisfied with the service we received. (I always go to the massage place with my friends and never had an experience when everyone was satisfied). My whole body felt very relaxed and refreshing after the message. I always felt one hour session is too short for me, but this place is the first place to feel like my one hour was fully filled with great service. I came here once before and had a great experience but this last time was traumatizing and I'll never be back. My gf and I were both getting a massage in the same room. When my masseuse opened our door, both my gf and I were creeped out by him. He mumbled something weird and then walked away but came back and started the session. He started off by saying how pretty I was which is fine. Most old male masseuses will say that so I didn't think anything of it. And then he started to massage me. The whole time he's making these groaning noises which were very unpleasant to hear and on top of that, his massaging sucked. Seemed like he was either drunk or falling asleep or I don't even know what. He was inconsistent with his method and pressure and it was the most annoying experience. The WORST part of the massage was when he was massaging my legs and got WAY too close to my crotch area. To the point where I felt violated. I tried to get over it and continue with the massage but I just couldn't and ended it very quickly. I told the manager at the front and really didn't say or do much to make me feel better. She even said that maybe it's because my masseuse and I weren't a good match. Not the right way to handle this situation. I even reenacted the movement to my gfs and they agreed that it was too close. With that said, I'll never be back here. My friends and I left the local spa and we wanted a foot massage. We called a lot of massage places, and they were all surprisingly booked on a Sunday night. We desperately walked down Olympic and saw this foot massage place. Happy Feet Massage was located on the second floor in this somewhat shady building. All the other businesses were closed and they have their own small parking lot. The lady at the front desk greeted us and told us that she would be able to accommodate us. We opted into the $30 foot massage. One room was a solo room and the other one accommodated two people. They had clothes for us to change into. We lied down and starred at the bright light bulb that was shining directly on our eyes. Two men walked in and did the whole foot/body massage. They slightly dimmed the lights half way into our massage. The massage itself was alright. It was kind of painful, but there was a language barrier. The two men also talked (like they had a legit conversation without whispering) to each other a fair portion of the time during our massage. It was hard to relax and there was no ambiance music playing. The door was also open, and workers passing by were also talking to the men. Our massage was finished and we paid (and added the tip) using a CC. It's a shame that I didn't like this place. Little tweaks here and there would make my experience a lot more enjoyable. read more

Looks can deceive my friends. I'll tell you right off that this place is awesome for the price. You can't expect to get high end details for a whole body massage at $40dz. What I mean is, the lighting and mood is not top notch. The place itself is minimal. I got the private room for my 1 hour massage. Mr. Tong was excellent for me. I'm used to being worked and I don't like Swedish massage. He new the exact spot if all my aches and pains. There's another spa/massage type of business downstairs, but Happy Feet is upstairs. I love this place!! The male masseuses here really know what they are doing. The massages here are consistently good and I feel so refreshed every time they are done. They put just enough pressure to get my knots out without it being completely painful. One of the most refreshing massages I've gotten. They also have clothes you can change into. I get the $30 for 1/2 body 1/2 feet and it's so worth it.
