Every time I need a reset I come in looking for Annie or Alisa. By far the best massage.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Didn't have an appointment and we were able to get two 60 minute foot massages.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Feet soaked while we got shoulder and neck massage and then scalp and neck before the feet massage. Had super sore achy feet but after the session -- no pain! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best part was Mochi who kept us company[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Price was $62! Not bad!

I get massages often so I am a frequent flier. I love to try new places because every location has its pros and cons. The best full spa can always be found at the nicest hotels. A step down from that is the standalone locations for spa and massage and then a step below that is just a massage business in usually a retail center. So I knew what to expect coming into this massage. Overall it was pretty good but could have been better in each category. Mainly giving 4 stars because my masseuse worked hard (she never mentioned her name) but I paid for a 2 hour deep tissue massage and she did a 2 hour Thai massage instead. I like Thai massages too but she used her feet about 85% of the massage so I really missed the hand techniques and stretching that I usually experience. Will break down my visit into the pros and cons so you can decide. PRO: the pricing is very fair, almost a dollar a minute so it would be hard to find many cheaper options out there. From what I saw it was clean inside and in my room and I like how it's attached to a free parking lot as I was able to find a space right out front. Also my masseuse worked very hard and even though she didn't speak English, or had a diverse skill set, she still put in the effort. CON: as mentioned I paid for a deep tissue and got a Thai massage using almost exclusively her feet and walking on me. I like that to start but after an hour+ of that you are just screaming for it to mix up a bit. The walls in each room do not go to the ceiling so it's easy to hear other people and the employees as sounds travel easily. Also, I'm 6'3" and they have one of the smallest massage tables I have ever been on, my feet hung off the end the entire massage. Overall a nice experience but wish I would have received the services I requested and paid for. Still searching for my perfect mix so I don't plan to be back here again, but would recommend to anyone to give it a try at least once, but with reserved expectations.

    Tip sheet.

The walking on the back may have been the best I've experienced. Everything felt very intentional to the needs of my body. The only thing that was off putting. You pay before your service and at the end you tip the person on Venmo/cash. The suggested tips are a bit high. The lowest recommendation was more than 20%. Although they don't say anything to you, at the end of the massage, the masseuse is waiting there with your water/tea. If for some reason you didn't want to tip, I could see it being a very awkward exit. Or if you simply can't afford the tip amounts they're recommending, it could be an awkward exit. The bed was clean and if you're a little chilly ask them to turn on the warmer. I was excited to learn this was an option. Overall great spot. I plan to go on the regular.

My husband loved it. The massages are a little rough, so I asked for them to be a little softer. But, I'm kinda a baby with massages, like I don't book deep tissue type of massages. The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. The spa offered shorts for men, so my husband utilized the co-ed hot tubs. He said he was the only person in the co-ed area and men's side. In the women's area, where they had the hit tubs, women are nude. So, it's a little stressful at first because I never been to a spa where people are nude. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

The people who work here are just unbelievably kind, and always go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. I've never had trouble making an appointment day-of, and I've had a different masseuse every time and they've all been great! I usually choose to do the Thai combo massage, this time I did 75 minutes (but I wish I'd done longer!) This time I had Martin -- he was very friendly and fun, but not overly chatty, so I still felt relaxed. And he did a great job checking in with me about the pressure he was using, and making sure I was comfortable, at the right temperature, etc. He even managed to massage my legs a little which is no easy task -- I'm SO ticklish on my legs. I asked for medium pressure this time (medium firm last year was also great, but I wanted a little more relaxing and a little less intensity today). I'm sure it's challenging to guess what "medium" means to each person, but he really nailed it! The receptionists are always so nice too, and this time for my birthday she gave me a cup of tea and few other things after my massage. So I got to sit and sip tea and watch the fish and relax, and it was just a really wonderful experience! Thanks to all who work there! We'll be back soon! :)

And eager to ride that feeling, We booked a 75-minute couples massage with hot oil and hot stones, and unfortunately the experience didn't meet our expectations. To start, my massage bed wasn't heated. I mentioned it, and while the therapist did try to fix it, the heater appeared to be broken. I understand that things happen, but it's worth noting especially at this price point. I get massages regularly (about once a week) and enjoy trying new places with my girlfriend, so I have a good sense of what a quality experience feels like. This was a more expensive session at $100, so I went in with high expectations and The massage itself felt rushed from the beginning, with no real flow or transition between techniques. It was repetitive and often more painful than relaxing. I understand Thai massages can be deep and intense, but there's usually some balance with relaxation this didn't have that. It felt like the therapists were more focused on grabbing lotion and hot stones than actually working on our bodies Overall, both my girlfriend and I felt like the experience lacked care and intention. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

Before the massage began, I let the therapist know that this was my first massage ever. Because I had never had any type of massage before, I honestly didn't know what to expect or whether what I was experiencing was normal. I booked a 60-minute lymphatic drainage massage because I was specifically looking for a gentle, relaxing treatment. Within the first five minutes, I let the therapist know that the pressure was hurting. Throughout the session, I continued communicating that it was too painful and repeatedly asked for lighter pressure. I was taking deep breaths, crying out in pain at times, and even sweating because of how intense the pressure felt. The therapist would apologize and explain that I had a lot of deep knots that needed to be worked on, but the pressure continued. Since this was my very first massage, I assumed discomfort might just be part of the experience, and because I had already paid for the service, I stayed for the full 60-minute session. Looking back, I realize I likely received a deep tissue massage rather than the lymphatic drainage massage I had requested. The treatment involved very deep pressure using elbows and knuckles, focused on working out muscle knots, and even included hot stones. After the massage, I was very sore. I understand that some people specifically seek out deep tissue massages, and I'm not questioning the therapist's skill. However, it was not the service I requested or expected. If a lymphatic drainage massage at this business includes deep tissue techniques, I believe that should be clearly explained beforehand so clients, especially those getting their first massage, can make an informed decision about whether that's the type of treatment they want.
