We just went to the store in North Tampa 15010 N Dale Mabry and ask for the Kenkoh sandals for my husband and the lady there was pretty nasty and snooty. We were pretty calm and just told her that she didn't have to use that tone that we were just there to ask about a pair of sandals. I was trying to return my sandals, my husband got me a gift card from there. I decided to buy 2 pairs. Anyways one pair hurt my feet so I tried to return mind you I paid one with gift card and paid balance with cash but they say they can only give it back on my card. It's very frustrating I did not want another pair just wanted my cash back. They were not very kind, lastly she just said if I wanted to take it back to where I originally bought it. Went in the be measured for inserts for shoes. Sales person John was "Extremely Rude" to my wife after she told him that he had selected the wrong size shoe for her to try on. She told him she wore 8.5 and he brought out a 9.5. John told my wife to calm down and "dial it down!" Continued his snooty attitude the whole time. We purchased Birkenstock inserts, but he absolutely lost the sale on a pair of new Brooks Ghost 13 shoes @$150. We left and walked down to DSW shoes, purchasing the Brooks Ghost 14s for $10 cheaper. Pushy Sales Associate male, tall, African American, REFUSED to show me the selections he pull based on the assessment the machine gave because i said i was in a hurry. He put boxes on the floor and said " well just come back when you have time and I'll show you". I said " I can take a quick look at them" and he again refused to show them, which made it obvious he didn't want to waste his time if he could proceed with his sales pitch process. Sat Feb 10. So my old maternal being is in town. She walks all gimpy, feet swelled, shows not fitting, etc..So my wife mentions taking her to Happy Feet and so we go.. The care & paitience sales assocaite Jennifer took with this unknown elderly woman who was from out of town and would never return to this store was remarkable! Jennifer's knowledge of the foot, the science of the shoe, how shoes work and interact with the foot was incredible. My mom left with a much better understanidng of not just how to wear her shows, but why footcare was so important. Extremely poor customer service. I tried 5 different brands and told them I would just try them at home and return the ones that didn't work because I was in a great deal of pain due to plantar fasciitis. They were perfectly fine with this. I called 2 days later and told them the brands I liked and that I would be back in to return/exchange. The shoes stayed in the box till I could get back to store. They claimed the Birkenstock's were worn too much. My house is clean - I tried them for two days inside my home only. They did accept the returns with a terrible attitude like I did something wrong. I had also brought a pair of shoes along that I had purchased a year earlier that I wanted to try another while. The sales clerk threw up his hands and yelled These aren't even out shoes!! The 1st thing I told the young man when I entered was that they were last years shoes and I separated them from the others. He apparently never listened to me when I came in - just looked at the returns and decided to treat me like a criminal of sorts. This horrible experience is just sticking with me. I felt attacked. The young man should never be allowed to work with the public. read more

Jon totally ROCKED it today. I walked in and was greeted with a welcome hello, immediately. Jon asked how he could help. I told him my feet just weren't happy. He scanned my feet, we chatted, he showed me SO many shoes and gave great advice...20 minutes and $246.00 later I was walking out of the store. Now don't be aghast at that price for only 2 pairs of shoes. In my 20's and 30's, $246 would have bought at least 5 or 5 pairs of shoes. We were young...we could torture our feet. However, that is why I didn't bat an eye at that price today. My feet hurt. And not like they hurt in my 20's where a Sunday movie marathon on the couch with friends and bloody Marys would cure my ails. MY FEET HURT. All day, every day. So go to Happy Feet Plus and try it if your feet hurt. These days I would rather have 4 comfortable, cute pairs of shoes than my previous counts of 125-96 pairs...only about 10 that were comfortable. Spent over 400.00 in this store after the employee JOHN swore up and down he was there to help me and not just sell shoes. Well, the brand shoes he sold me did help, but the soles and the massaging sandals that I bought 2 pairs of were not worth the 99 dollars a piece. Not to mention when I returned 2 of the items unused, he was a complete jerk, just kept telling me I didn't give them enough time to help, and that me returning these items could cost him his job, but it had been over 20 days and the sandals left my feet feeling sore every single time I wore them. I hate when people mask making a commission with trying to help you or worrying about your well-being, if he was worried about me, he wouldn't have been so pushy making the sale and he for sure wouldn't have been a jerk when I tried to return them. read more

Happy feet is great. I came in wanting to get some Birkenstocks but I couldn't remember my size. They measure your feet for you in the store. They didn't have the color and size I needed in that store so they shipped it into the store from another location and I was able to pick it up the next day! I purchased shoes online... two weeks later I called to follow up on shipping and they told me they haven't shipped my shoes because they haven't received my email confirmation on shipping address. I never got their email... now Christmas is around the corner and I have no gifts for my family. Although they never shipped my shoes they still charged my credit card. I went in here after a number of days where my the outside of the bottom of my right foot was killing me. I could hardly walk without grimacing. They first had me step onto a sensor plate that measured my surface contact points. I was very flatfooted. They went over to a number of shoe inserts, measured them against my shoe and chose one that was the right size and level for me. I have been wearing them ever since and have not had any problems with my feet. I also bought a pair of Kenkoh sandals that I wear every few days and, although at first they made my feet ache somewhat, now they feel fine. They come with claims of healing the feet. All I know is that I can now walk and am not limping around the house as much. read more

I told John this after getting my feet analyzed and he went from mr caring to outright mean. I've had friends recommend the South Tampa store, so I made the trek down there. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Rea and Tara treated me like royalty. They apologized for John and said that he has off days now and again. They discounted the kenkoh as a thanks for driving down and giving Happy Feet another shot. bought a pair of comfort finn. very nice shoe, comfortable. The shoe came apart before christmas. bought the shoe on sept 13 2020. with the holidays and covid 19 going on did not get to go back in and and get another pair or something. the lady Ms. Strong said she would have to send them to corporate office. I agreed but i did not think that was necessary because of the newness of the shoe. This shoe is a 350. dollar shoe. 10 days later Ms. strong called me said that there is no warranty past 30 days. Wow, she called me by not my name, i felt i was discriminated against, i am a 60 year old white male. She told me to go to the web site of comfort finn they might be able to help . Ms. strong said that that all she is going to do! I expected a little help considering that the store is a small and family run store. feels like a family run store. After being dissatisfied with a pair of squeaky shoes, my grandmother was treated extremely poorly upon attempt to return the $130 shoes. The general manager even had the audacity to say "I don't give a shit what you believe" after my grandma said she wasn't lying about how many times the shoes were worn because she was a Christian and would never lie like that. Furthermore, after writing a formal complaint to the owners, a month later, still no response has been received. Poor management and unfair treatment of the elderly is never acceptable, especially in a consumer/professional environment. My grandma left the store in tears. read more

Don't bother wasting your money here.While the products they offer are great shoes they care little about ensuring that the customer is taken care of.They are only interested in taking your money.We bought $300.00 pair of shoes and after only 6 months they needed the soles replaced.We stopped by to talk about what are our options were and were told they couldn't help us. We would just have to buy new shoes or pay to fix them.$300.00 is a lot of money for 6 months. read more
