I love getting good deals and a full body massage at $30 is a good deal. That's if you don't mind getting the massage in a big room full of other clients. There is no partition at all. It's just a row of reclining seats in one big dark room. All you have to do is close your eyes and pretend everything is normal when they left your shirt up (you're facing down) to give your back a massage. Close your eyes and go to your happy place. Tip: Ladies, the happy place may be the mall you go to shop with the money you save by coming to this place instead of those $300+ spas. This place is always packed so be sure to call ahead of time and check availability. Save yourself some gas money and from wasting an hour or more of waiting. He has been very happy with every time he's been here and he says it's worth coming here. I went here for the first time last night and I was very pleased with my experience. My body felt much more relaxed after the massage and I felt a lot of my tension relieved. Business is picking up here so I suggest that you call ahead and make an appt. Otherwise, you risk waiting 45 minutes for an available massage chair. The minimum tip they require is $5. So it's actually a $25 full body massage. No complaints here. It's worth it. But do NOT expect to be pampered here. You're in a room with about 5 - 7 other people. The massage is over your clothes and they put towels and sheets over you as they work on you. A newly built spot with simple décor and a 4x4 massage bed layout there are always plenty of massage therapists available. I have never had to wait more than a half hour and the fee is only $20 for a one hour full body massage focusing on pressure points and including feet, head hands and everything in-between. They open early and stay open late. The only negative is that a couple of the massage therapists smoke and if you don't smoke getting a massage from them can irritate your skin. But you can easily request the person you like so its all good. We go at least twice a month and so far our favorite Massage Therapists are Andy or Lee. We looked for a cheap spot to relax and somehow this place popped up on the radar. My first visit was a little rough. I've never really been to a place like this so the ambiance was a little weird to me. It didn't help that the lady that was going to "work" on me seemed upset that she drew the short straw, I was the tallest and biggest of the bunch. She then said something in her language to her colleagues and they all started laughing, I don't know what she said but to me it translated to "Awe hell nah!" Did I care? Nope, but I should have since she was about to jack me up! She kept talking and her co-workers kept laughing so I kept translating. Massage Lady: "How much y'all wanna bet I can climb on top of this mothafucka!" Her co-workers: "LMAO, we wanna see you try" Massage Lady: "I bet by the time this massage ends I'll plant my flag on top of this fool!" Me: "I don't know what the hell is going on but damn this is the best $20 bucks ever spent!" Lo and behold, she planted her flag when I was supporting her full body weight while she was on top of my back giving me a back rub. I felt like I got my ass whooped... maybe I pissed her off somehow by getting there late and she just wanted to go home. But even with that experience, the price was just so damn cheap for what was an overall good relaxing experience. I've came back since that last visit and have steered away from anyone that looks like they want to go mountain climbing. I've also lost weight so I'm more of a hill now. I was not very impressed with this place. In fact, i would never consider going back. The place looks dirty and smells like smoke. Also, i find it extremely rude when people who work there start talking in a different language so you won't understand them. When i walked into the place they asked me to pay for my massage upfront and i decided to include a $5 tip with my payment. The lady who was going to give me the massage starts talking in a foreign languange as if she was complaining about the tip amount - which by the way was 25% of service price so in my mind it was a good tip. What can you say about a place that charges 20 bucks for a massage? It's no Glen Ivy. It's a room filled with about 10 chairs/beds. Because you're in a big room, you hear EVERYTHING. You hear their business phone ringing, you hear people walking in, you hear people walking in while talking on their cell phones, etc. They need to have a sign to tell people to silence their phones. I mean, I know I'm paying 20 bucks, and I'm getting what I'm paying for, but people, please silence your damn cell phones. It's common sense if you're walking into a massage place where people are trying to RELAX. I do not want to hear the stupid song you chose for a ringtone. It's bad enough I already heard you walk in telling someone you would call them back because you were about to get a massage. People just don't have manners or respect for others anymore. Absolutely wonderful!!! Usually when I get a massage, the hour flies by and I feel like I haven't been there very long. This massage was the first time I almost fell asleep mid-rub, and it felt like it was three hours instead of just one. I picked a great time, I guess, because I walked through the door and straight to a bed. George was my masseur and he had magic hands. I've had a problem area between my spine and right shoulder blade for a few weeks now, and he worked that sucker out like it was his last mission on Earth. I've been to a few different foot massage places in the LA area and I have to say that having full beds is definitely a plus. I always feel squished and unable to breathe when they try to work out the entire back on that ottoman, over a pillow. George was very professional, courteous and really, really great. At the end of the massage we all paid and tipped 5 $ for each masseuse, the older Asian lady looked at us and said " that's it" " you need to tip more " I'm just blank like wtf ? I told her I hope she doesn't tell this to every person that tips 5$ I'm paying for my service and it's my choice weather to tip or not I am a hair stylist and I know a tip is optional Whether you get tips or not you are paying for your service. ZERO Stars!!! Extremely uncomfortable session. I previously posted a good review and I came back to report that this place is shady! The guy who massaged me started to feel like he was groping me. I told him to stop and thought maybe I misunderstood... Later he stuck his fingers in my ear with this look on his face and I got up and left. It wasn't and ear massage either! Also I could have sworn I felt his breath on me :( I was shocked and paid and left. When I called to ask for the owner the next day or name to complain she would not give me the information. If you want dirt cheap massage for 1 hr then here is the place to go. Mind you this isn't place is not very fancy. When you get to this place, it's tiny. Theres a small waiting area for people and the rest is large room filled with massage beds. They have the beds covered with cloth and one top is a large towels. You'll notice that they use towels every where for where you lie, your feet, and on top of you. Theres no private rooms here unlike the spa I have been too. So wear comfy cloths if you can wear legging and a shirt. The massage, first they have you sit at the end of the massage bed and dip your feet in hot water. It's not scalding hot but it's hot enough that you will feel it. You start with the massage sitting down and then you will lie on to the bed for the next phase. The massage really gets in deep and it's for an hour. I only gave this place 4 because they do need to improve on a lot of things. The service is good the massage is good but they lack any interaction with the costumer. I understand that most of the estheticain doesn't speak english but the business will greatly benefit from that. The place needs a little sprucing up, I don't mind hole in the walls places. I find that, that is where you get the best value for your money. This place that stuffed animal horses on the couch. It was a little tacky but something that I can over look. They could use a nice barrier between the waiting area and the massage area. When you sit on the couch you pretty much can see whose getting a massage. When she was done , she started.counting out the 20 they had agreed upon. They gave her a puzzled look and mentioned a tip. Fair enough, but she only had a few extra dollars cash in her wallet. But I just paid with my card and used a $5 bill for the tip (20% BTW..above the service industry acceptable minimum). I have gone to Happy Foot Spa a few of times. I gave the place a pass because the cost was so unbelievable for a full massage. The receptionist was always distracted and on her cell and only seemed to care about collecting the money at the end of the massage. The place had a hint of cigarette smell and it was, let's say, a little tacky and noisy. I called to set up an appointments, only to have to speak up when they were going to take walk-ins ahead of me. The last time I went in, I decided it was the last time I would go there. I walked in and one of the masseur greeted me and told me to go to one of the lounge seats. I glanced at his hands to discover that he had long nails. He had particularly long pinky nails. The previous time I had been there, I recalled that the masseur had nails and as he massaged my face and head, all I could think about was, "Where had these nails been previously?" I spoke up and said, "I can't have you massage me with your long nails". You would have thought I had made some unthinkable comment. The whole place began to buzz in their language. The receptionist came over to me. She said, "You don't like long nails? Who do you want to massage you?" (Anyone that knows me, knows that I appreciate long, beautifully manicured nails...but, not for a masseuse.) I told her anyone without long nails. So, this other male masseuse came over and began the massage. I felt assaulted by the pulling and slapping on my back, legs and feet. I had to tell him several times that it was too much. I was pretty much glad when it was over. When I sat up from the massage, all the other masseuses were looking at me and making comments. I got up quickly and collected my things...went to the front desk to pay. I paid the receptionist and the masseur came up to me for his tip...I shouldn't have given him anything....he looked at it and made some comment in his language and walked away without saying anything further. We decided to go for the $20 Special which is 10 minutes Head and Shoulder massage and 40 minute foot massage and 10 minute back massage. I had a guy named Peter and Darian had a girl named Cici. I think it was the BEST $20 I have ever spent. From what I understand you are going to want to make an appointment because they get really packed up and I can see why.
