10/14/2015 Wow! Pleasant surprise. My friend goes here and recommended their $30 visit. She said she really enjoys it. After I read some critical reviews of noise, tobacco smell, and tipping problems, I went. I bought the $20 package and it was wonderful. The water was not super hot (I probably would have preferred it hotter, and it did cool, but it was always nice). Peter did my massage. It was a real deep tissue, strong massage - which was divine! I broke my finger last weekend and Peter stayed away from that hand. Scalp massage was SO terrific. I have long hair and he was pretty good about not pulling it! Feet, back, and gluteus maximus were tough and really just what I needed. It was comfortable, no noise - except the guy next to me started snoring multiple times. I was happy he felt comfortable enough to fall asleep during his foot massage. I think there were 8 low tables and seats, comfortable. There were no noisy cell phones, music was nice and appropriate. I'm very sensitive to smoke, and I didn't notice any, but my friend said that her masseuse did have 'tobacco hands', but it didn't detract significantly from her experience. I'm going back and I'm taking friends!!! I would love to get the massage my other hand too (it's jealous!), when the finger heals in 4 weeks! I have been here twice & have been happy with both experiences. Not the best massage I have received but still good for the price. I have paid extra for the private room/full body massage both times but I do want to try the $20 massage also. I saw Michael the first time because I was very tense . I typically like lighter massages but he put a little more pressure than I am used to. It did the job & I was happy. I came out feeling nice & un-knoted! read more

This place is definitely hit or miss. I've had a few great massages, but at this point more often than not the experience itself is horrible. I gave it a try, but I can say with certainity that I will not be going out of my way to come back. Today my husband and I had the worst painful massages and to add insult to injury we were forcefully made to tip $5 each for a lousy massage. This place provides a great one hour massage for only $20! Call to make an appointment, as this place gets busy. The only thing is that the light shines through the room, is cheaply decorated, and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. For this reason it gets 4 out of 5 stars. This place is awesome! I loved the simplicity. Nothing fancy just 60 uninterrupted minutes of massage. If you're into the spa frills, don't come here because your massage will happen with your clothes on in an open area with cheesy background music. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend were both taken in right away. We each had the 20.00 massage. I should have gotten the name of the guy who massaged me because he was on point. The man who gave me a $25 massage demanded a $10 dollar tip from me and yelled at me even after I gave him a $5 tip! He then walked away and told me to never come back! And I won't! rundown- Pros: cheap, definitely a fair quality massage, relaxing when it's quiet, comfortable chairs/beds for the clients, clean bathroom, masseuses' hands dont smell like food... all good! BUT THEN.... Cons: music is kind of loud. not a lot of massage options for a chinese foot massage. the foot bath is cold, the AC runs at what feels like 60degrees at night. every chair for the masseuses are noisy and distracting. oh, and THE MASSEUSES TALK ABOUT THE TIPS THEY JUST GOT FROM THEIR CLIENTS ($5! $6!), THEIR CLIENTS' BODY SHAPES (thick! tiny!) AND GENDERS (female!? male!?), WHICH MASSAGE THEIR CLIENTS CHOSE ($20 option? $30 option? $40 option) SO THEY CAN GO TSK TSK AND SIGH AND LAUGH ABOUT HOW CHEAP THEIR CLIENTS ARE. (i know this because i understand Mandarin chinese, but i don't look chinese at all). it's not even that! They shouldn't be talking so loud nor so much in the first place! i have never been so tense and restless from the noise level at any chinese massage. the front desk receptionist, who is the only one who speaks english it seems, also likes to shout across the (tiny) room to the masseuses, and loudly contemplate whether to make a phone call, and then actually make a (loud) phone call to his parents, INSIDE the room -.- BIGGEST CON: I wanted to give a tip of "only" 15% for my subpar experience, but the receptionist would not give me back my credit card unless i gave a 25% tip!!! you can definitely EASILY find better $20 chinese foot massage establishments elsewhere. read more

The massage is nice, not sure if their certified or not but for 20$ you can't go wrong. Although a few hours later I left with a bad crook in my neck:0/..... However, the massage beds are cute and cozy, the foot soaker is clean as they do change the bags, and the massager is nice(older gentleman).I can't compare this place to The Glen Ivy, but I can say I would come here again and recommend it for a quick rub down. read more

Came here past weekend with my mum. You really can't complain about $20/hr. We were seen right away and got our massage. Massages felt good but it was hard to go into deep relaxation with all of the chatter and laughter. The room is also not aesthetically pleasing, it's just a big room with 12 beds. Even though the massages felt good the day off, mum complained of soreness and I had an ache in my neck. If you are trying to save money go here but if you're willing to spend an extra few bucks for the same treatment, I would recommend the latter option. Also, be prepared to be given a disgusted look if you only tip each one of them $5. read more

This spa is fairly good. Their prices are reasonable and service is good. I have gone a couple times, usually when my back is tense. It is a very simple, easy service place. This is my third time to come to this store. I have to say is that this is a good place to massage your body for 1 hours and its very cheap! Although this place is not so huge and fancy, you can actually relax yourself in the store. People are pretty nice too. So I have actually come here a few times since they've opened for a quick/cheap message. I visited yesterday and let me say it is the last time I go ever again. After the message my boyfriend and I leave about a $3 tip per person. Well, when we start walking out, (and no I'm not joking) they stop us and pull out a piece of paper with a hand written note that says "minimum tip $5" I was like WTH? You can't do that! The relaxation music is hit and miss but usually pretty good. Sometimes the noise of people coming in is kind of annoying but its not that bad. Again not the best massage but can't beat the price. Steven is great though! read more

The man who massaged me was really rough, almost felt like he was ripping my hair off when he did the head massage, then he was pissed at me for only giving him a four dollar tip, he demanded that it was a five dollar tip minimum. He was extremely rough in certain parts of the massage. I hope he didn't hurt me. Not worth it. They girls may be better but this man ruined it for me. For $20 bucks, you CANNOT beat this. They're a little bit rough on you, but that's a good thing in the end. Me and my boyfriend were so relaxed afterwards. When you walk in, it's just a bunch of massage chairs out in the open, and it's SUPER quiet, so we almost laughed out loud. But they really take care of you here...head, shoulders, legs, and even toes. I've been to Glen Ivy, and while you won't get all the little perks they have, nor is it as luxurious...the massage is actually better because of the price and the amount of detail they put into it. If there were 0 stars I'd have chose it but to start the review you have to chose a star. Anyhow, I've been to this place twice ! Once just to try it out and the second to give it one more chance, first time was just your usual foot spa massage for $20 bucks. Nothing special. But the second time I went, man was it horrible ! I guess I got the owner or something who was giving me the massage and I guess he didn't sleep well the night before but he kept DOZING off while massaging my foot. Yup the guy would be massaging then just slowly stop. I removed the towel that they put over your eyes and he was asleep ! Chin was touching his dam chest ! I flinched my foot to wake him up and he would wake up only to do it again in 4-5 minutes. After the second foot flinch I was was praying for the massage to be over soon. It was so disappointing. I love massages and I felt so pissed and cheated out my money ! After I went to the front desk and straight up told the lady that he kept falling asleep that it was the worst massage I've ever gotten and that I would not be back !!! Paid what I owed and left. LET THEM ASK ME FOR A MANDATORY TIP and I'll laugh my butt off out the front door ! AHAHAHAHHAHAHHAH. People PLEASE Don't go there ! I was a little annoyed because after I paid I gave the guy who worked on me a tip(Handed him one dollar bills) and he looked at me like I was crazy. I looked at the lady for explanation at what he was saying and she said no no. At this point I was so confused. Another guy came up and said "we only accept $5 and up tip, everybody is hardworking." I was bothered because where I come from a tip is a token of appreciation. Not something that is expected. This guy is lucky I tipped him. I had to tell him several times to be soft because he was hurting me and he kept breathing loud as if he was bothered. This place was absolutely horrible! Employees there are so rude. Don't speak English or understand it and they talk throughout your entire massage. I did not feel relaxed at all. The guy kept snapping at me, he was really rough ad I told him he was hurting me and he "didn't understand" me. I felt like I was being tortured for an hour. Almost thought he was going to break me. Then when I went to pay he forced me to tip him $5 and up. I called the next day wanting to speak to a manager and they told me she was on vacation, which was a lie. Got a referral from a coworker. They are really good and friendly. My back was sore from work and they did a good job massaging it and I felt great! I come every other day after work. I tried the tables in the rear of the store to massage exclusively on my back and spine and come out feeling heavenly! I don't know about the cigarette smell one reviewer mentioned since I never smell any, but if there is a problem, tell them and they will be happy to accommodate you. Once one of them massaged my back too hard and when I told him, he immediately went softer and kept asking until it felt like I want it to. Overall, the experience is wonderful! Ok.... Wtf happened tok this place?... I have had about 6 visits here.. For 20 bucks thought it was pretty nice.. But what happened today pisses me off.. I went to get my shoulders loosen up a little. At first it was as usual, put my feet in the water bucket, while the guy worked on my shoulder and neck. I told him notto do my face and head because there was one time one of the guys had scratched my scalp. Ouch! After the feet soaking session I was laying down facing up and he started to massage my left arm and that's when he burped right next to my face! Twice! What the heck! I was extremely disgusted but he and other masseuses acted like nothing had ever happened. That's not all. When he was massaging my back, he pulled my shirt all the way up to the shoulder and started to massage me. Wtf!! Not once in my previous visits had anything similar to this. I could not complain to anyone at that time because none of them spoke any english other than some numbers. I had to show them how much they need to charge on my card with fingers.
