Peter is amazing. I can tell that he's been doing this for a long time. He worked on all of my most tense areas and I didn't need to say a thing. He is very intuitive with pressure. He'll feel for the tension, then he'll work on that area with progressive pressure, then he'll ease up, go to another spot, then come back to the tense area. He doesn't follow a robotic pattern in sequential way. He intuitively feels for tension, and works on the areas that need it the most. This is my most favorite kind of masseuse. He's very professional, and as a woman, I felt very comfortable the whole time. I felt like a million dollars when I left, just so relaxed. This place is a diamond in the rough; they have someone for everyone, whether you like very soft pressure or deep pressure. I went and got an hour & a half massage tonight. And the lady that worked on me was great! This wasn't my first time here. They offer reasonable pricing and the massage...well let's put it this way, be prepared to take a beating (in a good way), if you're looking for deep tissue massage, this is the place. Place is clean also. There's one thing I didn't like, when I paid using my CC, I specifically told the guy behind the counter to give $20 to the therapist. To my surprise, he totaled the whole amount as one transaction. Instead of $85 + $20 for tip, he ran it as the total amt of $105. So the $20 tip didn't reflect on the receipt. My husband and I did a walk in on Monday and got the reflexology for 60 mins for $45 each and I was impressed. We got seen right away and it was a bit confusing at first but later we felt at ease. The pressure we both got was strong but we enjoyed/needed it. I felt comfortable enough to talk to them if I did need the pressure to change. I have never had a reflexology before and I was glad they focused on the whole body but I kind of wish I asked for them to focus more on my feet (but hey that's an excuse to come back). The staff were accommodating and kind. The music was relaxing and the area we got was nice that we got to be next to each other. They offer drinks and have a cozy waiting room area. As a licensed LMT I believe I can speak from not only training and experience but professionalism. There was no conversation about problem areas, there was no introduction to the massage therapist. The place smelled clean looked clean although it was very dark which is soothing music was fine. All started off well there was no conversation during about pressure about if everything was okay and today is the morning after and my spine is sore from being rubbed directly on the vertebrae from between my shoulder blades all the way to the base of my skull. I will probably be bruised. Not enough attention was paid to the glutes and upper thighs and lower back which can be a major holding area for most clients. Way too rough way too deep on the upper back and spine. I may return and request a different therapist as each therapist is different in technique. read more

I have been here over 30 times in the last two years and this place is always consistent, clean and easy to book. Both me and my boyfriend come here 2-3 times a month and are always very happy. We both do Jiu jitsu so constantly needing deep tissue and they do not disappoint. I alternate the foot/reflexology and the full body because I do love the attention my feet get during reflexology. I always usually get the same two therapists and they always know where I am hurting. They communicate and ask if I am comfortable often. We are at the point that we can laugh at how sore I am. It isn't overly private, so keep that in mind if you would like more privacy, however, they do their best to make you comfortable. I've brought several people here and they are always happy!! Got a foot massage here and it was terrible. The older lady that was assigned to me didn't have the uniform like the other massage therapists so not sure if she was training or not part of the staff? She scrubbed my foot from the beginning of the massage and left it on so it just hurt the whole time. She also spent a lot of the time on my leg rather than my foot which defeated the purpose. I got a massage from the therapist named Peter 3 times, he always cut off the time and finished earlier all 3 times. During the massage he used to disappear and left the client for 2-5 minutes maybe to get the hot towel or do whatever and this was not including to the time that he cut off too. I go to Happy Foot Spa on Fort Apache quite regularly. I definitely have my preferred masseuses, but they are all wonderful. The front desk is always very nice and helpful. I usually get a reflexology massage because I love the time spent on the head/scalp, but the full body massages are great too. It's really affordable and really easy to make an appointment online or by calling. I love that they are so close to my house, the perfect way to unwind on a stressful day.
