For service on 4/3/2026 - 3:15pm I was having severe neck, head and shoulder tension...with a headache that went on for 24 hours. I was visiting family and knew I needed to get this taken care of ASAP. I looked up spas that were close by and found Refresh Massage just down the street. I booked my appointment online for the following hour. When I arrived, I was greeted by Brian (?) who said Sara would be just a moment. The lobby was very clean. They have a menu of services listed along with a note of which services they do not...it was amusing and disturbing that they needed to acknowledge these "requests." Sara came out and showed me to a clean, tidy room. I wasn't sure of which service I needed and after discussing it with her it was decided that the Focus massage would be the best. She did my neck and shoulders over a thin sheet which was not uncomfortable. Towards the end she did use some oil on my neck. She used the perfect amount of pressure for me and she was very kind. When I got back to the house, my daughter mentioned that she goes to Refresh Massage and asks for Sara...She was at work when I made the appointment so I wasn't able to consult her prior. :-) I was very pleased with my experience and I would highly recommend this spa! We are visiting from Hawaii. While mom & dad explored Red Rock, hubby & I came here. We did a couple massage in the same room. I had the man, hubby had the lady. Best massage of my life! I told him my calves in particular were sore and he concentrated there. He also discovered my carpal tunnel, I didn't mention , and he worked on the sore spots. This is my second time visiting this place. I thought the first time was a luck getting a service from Brian. It was amazing. It was good. Today I went for a deep tissue massage and again I ask for Brian. Brian's service does not disappoint. He always stable and always hit the spot, he listens to what your concern is and put a lot of focus in trying to take out the knot. He takes his time. He put a good pressure on it and very very professional at all times. He is very knowledgeable of the spots that are very painful in my lower back, he finds the weirdest place where there's knots that's causing me a headache. The place has plenty of parking. The ease of making an appointment is through a phone call. The place is quiet, very quaint and relaxing and I also think that their pricing are very reasonable. I had the initial expectation of getting a five star experience based on the 111 reviews. When I came on I was greeted with a welcome and someone was readily available. There was a nice waiting area with butterfly art pieces. The place had a form to fill out with some previous medical conditions, areas to focus on for the massage and not to focus on. It was a detailed form to prep the massage therapist all the info before the massage. I got to the room and had some request areas to focus on. The experience was not what I expected. I came on for a deep tissue massage to have her work on my tight muscle knots and. The intensity/pressures was initially not as strong so I requested do more pressure and to also focus on the shoulder area more to take out the knots. With some instructions she was polite enough to follow my request. I was surprised with the face massage as it was a little too much pressure. The arm part of the massage was also not what i expected in that there was less working muscles to relieve tension rather than pressing on the arm back and forth. Maybe her massage style was not the best type for me. Maybe she was a one off therapist and most of the other therapists have different methods. Only once I requested no stones just out of my paranoia. But they've never mistakenly burned me with the stones here. I've visited a few times so far and I have no complaints. So 5 stars for the owner that usually massages me. 3 stars for the lady that massaged me today. Unfortunately, nobody else ever knows how to massage properly. I left today talking to myself saying "that wasn't too bad." Then I get in my car and I'm in pain. My neck and back hurt SO bad. I left hurting more than when I came in. She rarely got any knots out of my back and seriously made them worse. I'm just so upset because I just spent $60 for nothing because I'm going to go down the street to pay $30 for a better and cheaper massage that will heal my back. The massages are $60 for one hour.. so every person working there should be worth that much. I looked up "massage therapy" on Yelp and the very first listing was a spot literally next door to my local Thai joint that I've been to countless times. It has excellent reviews on Yelp so I made an appoinment. When I arrive, it looks like your typical Vegas Asian foot spa but it's not bc a sign clearly states "no happy ending" as soon as you walk in lol Brian was my massage therapist and I told him I had very bad knots on my upper back and he right away started working on that part and worked me over pretty good for a good amount of time. Another great massage from Sara, today. She really seems to know what I need when I come in. She goes right to work on my rough spots. She always seems to know just the right pressure to use. I was going to be town for a event, I made a appointment here in advance for a one hour deep tissue massage after doing some research on Yelp. Its like I hit the jack pot overall they have 82 reviews with about 75%- 80% people all gave them a five star review. This place is about 15 miles west of the strip in a strip mall. Brian is one of the staff here had me fill out some forms. This place is very neat and clean with some nice Asian art work around. I received the most magnificent deep-tissue massage from my therapist Alina she did a superb job. Alina work all the knots and tension out of my head, neck, back, shoulders, shoulder blades, lower back, glutes, thighs, legs, arms, calves, and feet, she was using the right amount of pressure on which is hard, she would ask me from time to time if I were ok. The hot stones, scented aromatheraoy oil along with the hot towels made me such a happy guy. I have no complaints the prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly plus after your session you get two rice cakes a full bottle of water and a soda. I did not have a good experience. I asked for a Swedish massage and got a female therapist. She massaged me over the sheet the entire time. She wasn't really massaging me but more so just pressing down on me/applying pressure with her palms. I asked for more pressure, but it seemed to stay the same. The 60minute massage did not include legs or feet. She did massage my arms, but again, she wasn't really massaging me. Instead she squeezed my arms. Not what I was expecting. I went here yesterday because of the excellent reviews and good price. I did the 2 hour signature massage. I would call this 25% pretty good massage and 75% violent rubbing. The 25% was just what I needed. The 75% was really weird. She used the heel of her hands and forearms to "massage" my bones. She went up and down my spine a number of times in a really aggressive manner. Then she did my shoulder blades and hips in the same fashion. Throughout the massage she kept going back and doing this, so I didnt quite realize the pain right away, but it was way too much. I am in serious pain today. And not the kind of pain where your muscles are a bit sore from being worked out. This is like deep bone pain, all up and down my back every time I move. I asked her to go softer about 4 times, but she didnt seem to speak English so she just kept going. The face massage was also weird. Focused on cheek bones, forehead, and ears. But not that spot in front of / below your ears to ease jaw tension. And she closed her palms over my whole years multiple times doing a weird suction thing and it was really uncomfortable. This place shows a definite difference between a true/educated massage therapist and a place that has people who sorta give massages. read more

They certainly follow covid safe guidelines. I asked if I could remove my mask while face down, and she asked that I keep it on. I did as requested, so for the mask wearers, this place is for you. It was Father's Day and I thought we do something different after we had the hubby's meal of choice. The only place that I've been to was in China Town and with it being over 110° outside, I didn't feel like going all the way out there so I turned to my handy dandy Yelp app and viola! We found ourselves with 2 appointments within the hour. We were greeted by the gentleman that I made the appointment with over the phone and he walked us to the area where we would spend the next hour. There are no actual walls, more like makeshift walls but the hubs and I were able to be in the same room. What made this experience different and much better than previous foot spa massages is that every so often, they would stretch us. I cannot express how good it felt for someone else to stretch me lol. If you've never been to a foot spa before, you're fully clothed and you get massaged from head to toe. I always wondered they call them "foot spas" when they massage everything. *SHOULDER SHRUG". It's $30 for the foot combo; head to toe with free hot stones and they gave us each, a bottled water. Wow! How have I not reviewed this place yet?! I swear I wrote one. Anyway, I've been here several times now and have dubbed it my go to for a quick rub down. LOL. I've been a huge fan of Chinese foot spas for years. Prior to this place opening I went to Bali Foot Spa which was okay but now, in hindsight, is too crowded and busy for me. Plus, this place is closer with better parking options. Refresh definitely caters more to locals but if you are a tourist it isn't too far of a drive (~$10 Uber/Lyft). I recommend calling for an appointment when they open for the day. It seems like they keep staff on site based on demand so if there aren't enough on hand you may have to wait a bit. They don't focus just on your feet but go from head to toe for about 45 minutes (Foot Comb). I always find myself falling asleep by the time they get to my feet (which I hate because that's the best part!)-- it's nice and relaxing so sometimes you can't help it. A few things-- Perhaps they should build out a little separate room for their waiting area so when someone comes in you don't get distracted with the chime of their door/outside noises and voices. The walls are fairly makeshift so if there is someone in the next space you'll likely hear their groans/snores. If you come during the day, it'll be brighter in the rooms also (which is fine since I keep my eyes closed). Other than that I enjoy it all the time and will definitely come back often. It's nice that they don't try to talk to each other during the service or answer their phones which I have experienced at other places in the past. (Updated) LOVE this place! After reading rave reviews on a fb mom group about this place I've been going here almost a year now. They recently upgraded the interior and put in divider walls. I'm really happy to see this improvement! I typically get the foot comb which is an hour all over massage for a whopping $30 (whaaaat!) Tip them well because they truly deserve it! I've also tried the HOT ass hot stones and the detox. All awesome. My first thought after the first visit was that I could easily replace my massage therapist and nail salon for this place if they offered a basic polish. How awesome that would be? Walking you through it: You'll be promptly greeted. Tell them your selection, I've never waited more than 5 minutes. You're taken to a room where you can put your things away and wait for their return. The best attire is a loose top and easily folded up pants to the knee. You will be brought a bucket with warm water for your feet, lay down and relax to the calming music and dim light as they melt your stress away. The massage is literally head to toe, front and back (over the clothes) with the perfect amount of pressure. From one who typically gets deep tissue with the hardest pressure I can from a massage therapist this was a gamble for me but I've since ditched my massage place for this place. I try to come in monthly, you can really tell a difference in how your body feels when you go regularly. I enter with my shoulders up to my ears and they melt all of that away. I've winced a few times as they folded me into a pretzel but I truly enjoy each visit. Grab the punch card on your way out, once you get to a free visit you get a hot stone massage, score! Yesterday was a stressful day. I got home from work and took a good nap. I woke up from my nap desperately needing a gooooooooooiod back massage. So, I looked on Yelp & found this place. You got good reviews? Great! I am down! I called at 550pm and made a 630pm appointment. I gotta say I am glad I tried this place out last night. The Foot Deluxe was worth my money. I'm telling ya, if I spent $20 & got a bad massage, I would feel it was a waste of my $20. But, a good massage for $40, I thought my $40 was well spent. Anyhow, I was also pleased with the customer service as well. I just wish she had spent 5 mins on ea arm and leg, then the 40 mins remaining on my back. Hmmmm! That would have been awesome!
