My 3 year old has been going to happy harpeth for about a year and a half now and we have had nothing but positive experiences. They were super helpful in guiding us with getting rid of her pacifier and make her feel special every time she goes. Before our last visit, when I told her we were going to the dentist she said, "Yay! I love the dentist!" Ashley was our hygienist and she is so friendly and helpful! Let me start by saying the orthopedic doctor we saw was great, assistants were good also so this is not about them. I am having SUCH a hard time dealing with insurance and office staff for whatever reason so this is to address that. Wanted to try out a new dentist for my daughter since Cumberland is a joke. I made an appointment the start of September, told them I was using new insurance and sent them the info via text as I was instructed to do. They failed to update insurance info and ran the secondary insurance instead. Of course I did not know, I left assuming that the insurance I GAVE THEM was being used. I then received a letter in the mail from my secondary insurance saying the care was denied, which I knew that would be the case. Hence why I gave the office my new insurance! I called them to let them know. Spoke with Natalie, she said she would update it asap, and to "attn" the text with insurance info to her. Which I did, literally sent the same insurance info I had already sent two weeks prior on my initial visit. Annoying...but okay. Fast forward to this week. Monday 10/6 A MONTH after my initial visit, I call and ask if there is any update to which I am told that my insurance had denied coverage because THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO RUN MY OLD INSURANCE and payed no mind to the new insurance I gave them. I have to explain yet again that I (from the start) have tried to use my other insurance. I honestly don't understand what the issue is at this point. It can't be that hard. So the woman I spoke with said she would put it through and that the insurance woman would send me an email letting me know an estimated price with my new insurance. Alright cool FINALLY! I thank her and wait for email. Email never arrives. Now it's Wednesday, and I call again...speak with Natalie again, she sounds like she remembers me and tells me insurance will definitely email me today with the estimate. Mind you I never asked for this estimate, they just offered that..I don't even care about the estimate info at this point, it's the principal of it all. It's bad business. Period. I'm literally asking for nothing more than to just use the INSURANCE IVE GIVEN YOU PEOPLE SINCE 9/2!!!! ANYWAYS... I still have no email and have no interest whatsoever in returning to this place. For the office staff alone, holy hell what a headache it is. Short staffed or not, it's been more than enough time to deal with this issue. Get it together. Get this..NOW they wanna call me. I've NEVER over this entire situation gotten a call and NOW they wanna call me. I guess someone read the review. I'm not taking it down. Sorry not sorry. Too late. read more

First time visiting this place. Loved the interaction Ashley had with my son. Very kind and friendly! We were in and out! Which I loved!

This dentist popped up on my insurance list of providers. I called numerous times, left multiple voicemails and never heard back. I also scheduled 2 appointments for my kids online and again never heard back even though I requested a call to ensure they took my insurance. Appointments are supposed to be tomorrow. I just called and left a voicemail to cancel. I am not sure about the positive reviews but without any contact for over 2 weeks = sounds like a scam to me. read more

Wonderful pediatric dentist! They were amazing with my daughter when she had her first cavity which turned into an extraction. She was so nervous and they were very patient with her and made her feel safe. Great staff! Can't say enough good things about them. read more
