Well as soon as I walked in the door for my very first visit I was impressed with the staff. Front desk people were welcoming and friendly. After processing my info my hygienist Ben came out to get me. At first, I was hesitant because I always heard male hygienists are a little heavy handed but that was not the case. I had to have a deep cleaning, and I have to say Ben did an amazing job. He kept things lighthearted and fun. Even through in a few jokes that made me feel a little more relaxed. Today I went back to deep clean the other half of my gums and as usual everyone was great. This was the night before my appointment and Blackman Grove. It was just me at home, living in the middle of nowhere, with a dead car battery and no way to jump it. I called to get the appointment rescheduled, but was told it'd be $75 to do so. Fine. Thanks, daughter. I get it. 2. Finally get a new bridge (not sure if that was what the other appointment was for, but man, it was expensive, even with insurance.) However...a hygenist puts the bridge on and shapes it way too short. The dentist didn't even do anything. I was told she doesn't like doing those or fillings. I was also told that if I didn't like it, they could send it to a lab, but it'd cost MORE. Now, that side of my smile...the teeth are way shorter than the other side.‍ To my main point and complaint: found a new dentist where I'm located. They did X-rays and told me that all of my crowns from Blackman Grove are garbage. You can see them in the X-rays...they're not even cemented down well. I paid thousands...THOUSANDS...and now need to get them redone because my mouth aches. I loved this dentist...BEFORE they hired new people and completely redid the place (and started adding Botox to their services.)
