Lately we've been finding folks to just come to the house and house and dog sit because it's cheaper in my dogs won't get sick. Our normal go to kennel unfortunately our dogs come home sick every single time from that kennel without fail. Between violent explosive diarrhea and bouts of kennel cough we elected to try someone new. The second candle we went to was run by a elderly woman who sings her better days have gone by her. While she was nice she forgot to feed her dogs. We came home with more than half of the dog food we sent there which was perfectly portioned for them. My neighbors recommended kennels of Stone Creek we figured third time's a charm. They have an updated website you can register online and of course you have to have your kennel cough and vaccines updated for your pets. That's normal for any kennel. I always thought it was weird that kennels would not let you see where your dog was going to be staying but to be quite Frank I'm pretty sure it's just so the other dogs don't go crazy when someone comes in. I put both of my dogs in the same run and there is no interaction or play time with other dogs and quite frankly I'm fine with that. All of their food was labeled and consumed they came home tired but happy. It's about 60 bucks a day for two dogs of this size so our vacation bill was over 400. But 10 out of 10 would do it again anything so my dogs are taken care of with peace of mind

We did call to check in on the dogs and the staff that answered was so nice and relieved my worries as well. I learned that boarding dogs isn't cheap but they are pretty reasonable. We had prices as high as 1500 for 10 days. I believe we spent 400 !!!!!!!

That was my fault, COMPLETELY MY FAULT. However, the response when I called was a rough, "Oh yeah YOU WERE THE NO CALL NOSHOW". I said yes and tried to apologize. She said should would have to check and get back with me. She never got back to me and actually blocked my number so I couldn't call back. Amazing. Very disappointing and unprofessional. All she had to do was say she did not want to do business with me any longer. I was use to the old owner and when I met a few of the new people a while back, they seemed very nice and I am sure they are. What a shame. Even if she did agree to watch my pets, I would not trust them. I also talked to a few of my friends that use her and they were like "WOW". Again, I get it but how foolish, silly, and very stupid in my opinion.

She was a true blessing. After meeting her and introducing her to my Roxy, who warmed up to her right away, I booked her to watch Roxy during a recent business trip. She was amazing, not only by staying at my house allowing my dog to stay in familiar surroundings. She walked her, played with her and kept her happy. She also went above and beyond by sending me regular pictures and updates. Tammy took what could be a very anxious time for me and put me at ease. My wife is pregnant and we toured the facility several weeks ago to see if it would be a good place to board our dog when she went into labor. We never got around to signing up online and doing the test visit. I was sure we had more time to apply properly, but my wife went into early labor in the middle of the night 3 weeks prior to our due date and we were caught off guard. At 4:00am my wife called to see if it would be possible to have our dog stay even though we were unable to properly apply. We were prepared for the possibility that it would not be an option. The woman who answered the phone was very courteous, but said that she would need to get special permission from her boss (the owner) to do so. The owner then called my pregnant, laboring, wife and verbally berated and shamed her with a slew of "I told you to" statements with no grace or consideration. A simple, "I am terribly sorry, but we will be unable to accommodate you, we hope you will be able to join us in the future" would have been fine. However, the owner of this establishment is a person of poor character and unacceptable customer service. If you are looking for a place to board your animal, look elsewhere.
