Whatever you do, do NOT take your dog here for grooming. This place has gone downhill so fast. I've been taking my dog here to be groomed for about a year, if not a little bit longer. Not only has the quality of the cut and wash gone down significantly, but yesterday when my dog was picked up, she had a cut on her ear so bad that it was dripping blood all over. I fully understand accidents happen, however not once did someone call me to let me know she had been cut. When my mother picked her up for me (I was at work) they never said anything then, either. My mom noticed some crust on her ear, but didn't think much of it. Once I got home from work my mom mentioned the crust on her ear and when I looked closer I saw that there was an open cut that was now actively bleeding. The crust looked like it was quick clot powder used for stopping bleeding. I also noticed that her face wasn't washed or trimmed and her tail wasn't trimmed either. It continued to bleed so badly that I had to hold pressure on it and apply clotting powder that I have at home in my first aid kit. I then called them and left them a message letting them know what happened. I received a call back about an hour later. I explained what happened and she took my contact information and told me the owner would call me. The next day, after not received a call from owner, I called back again and left another voicemail. After a couple hours I was called back, explained the situation again, and was again promised the owner would call me. No one has contacted me as of yet, and I've given them over a day and a half to hear from them. There has been plenty of opportunity to at least explain to me what happened and why I wasn't contacted. I'm not sure if the person doing the grooming isn't trained, or just has no compassion, but I do know that they shouldn't be allowed to work with animals. Now my dog is injured and still dirty. Please for the sake of your pet do not bring them here.

Not a good experience with new owner. Overcharged for 4 lb dog, refuses to speak with customers directly. Do not recommend.

What a wonderful medical group! They are VERY accommodating (my husband and I have tricky…read moreschedules, and our pets have a LOT of special needs) and efficient, but that is not what makes them so special. The doctors, vet techs, vet assistants, groomers, and even the people in reception are warm and friendly and CARING, especially Holly, Mel B. (Our kitty Reggie is in LOVE with her!) and Drs. Walker and Mitzi. They all listened to our questions and concerns, and they treated us with kindness and patience. It is clear that they wanted us to understand every part of the appointment, and they made sure to get our informed consent about entry procedure or treatment. And the way they treat our kitties? Amazing. After every appointment, they called us "just to check in with how the patients are doing". You can really tell that they love animals. On a sad note, we recently lost out 16 year-old cat to cancer (he was being treated by an amazing oncologist at MedVet, by the way). When we had him put to sleep at Medvet (see my other review for THAT horror story), the folks at Bartels and Busack sent us condolences and a sympathy card even though they were not the ones who euthanized him. Their tech, Vince, was especially sympathetic and compassionate. Thank you for the comfort, B and B.

I went there for years and paid their ridiculous prices because their sign says they do 24-hour…read moreemergency care. They don't. When I did have an emergency during hours and I thought my dog was dying, they wanted to charge me a $200 fee to have it reviewed by their board to see if they could get her in. I never went back. You'll also wait 30 minutes to see a doctor every time you go there. Why don't they just adjust their appointment times? Don't know. You'd think they'd provide top tier service with the prices they charge.
