I took my German shepherd Gideon here for the first time about a year ago and Lia is amazing! Gideon is a very anxious dog and she is great with him. In addition every time I take him in to get his nails filed, whoever it is doing his nails always does great with him. He clearly doesn't love it, but everyone is so gentle and patient with him, I'm really impressed. Recently my boyfriend and I adopted another German shepherd, this time a puppy named Skye. She had her first day of daycare last week and loved it!! They even gave her the lunch I packed for her which I really liked. She came home exhausted and fell asleep in the car. I really like that when I picked her up, the staff for the daycare side had very specific reports of who she played with, how she played, etc. As someone who used to work in a doggy daycare, I have to say this place is top notch. They don't overbook their daycare side (which is huge to me because so many dog daycare places have 1 person to 40 even 50+ dogs, so it's easy to miss some key behaviors in that environment) so my pup wasn't overwhelmed and I knew she was watched well all day. Overall, imo, the best daycare place in town and their grooming is top notch. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

After getting a referral from a friend, I tried Paradise Pet Suites. Kathy came outside to pick my dogs up (Covid cautious) and was kind enough to give be a few minutes of her time to be detailed on what I wanted.. process was easy peasy! At pick up, Kathy spoke to my husband regarding how good the dogs were, when to schedule them again for grooming and was detailed again about what she had done! Seriously, I AM SO HAPPY TO FIND A PLACE THAT I FEEL COMFORTABLE LEAVING MY DOGS TO BE GROOMED! You can tell Kathy cares not only about her customers but it's obvious she loves her job and the animals. Thank you Kathy for making this such a simple choice!

Cottonwood changed its daycare policy on August 15 to no longer let dog owners…read morereserve dog playtime ("daycare") for overnight boarded dogs (previously was 4 hours complimentary as a "social guest"). I booked my dog on July 23 for this program. I drop her off for Labor Day weekend and boom, my poor dog is not allowed to have any playtime because it's "full" (was there at 8 am...) and is now first come, first serve DESPITE ME BOOKING IT FOR HER before the policy change. I received no phone call about the change, the website hasn't been updated, nothing. This place is counting on you to just accept that you will now have to pay them more to exercise your dog or even to just allow them out of their kennel ON TOP of already paying $53 a night as the CHEAPEST OPTION. Don't do it guys. If you're going to pay for a "pet resort" to lock up your dog all day unless you pay more on top for a "nature hike", there are much cheaper places around Omaha. Don't get scammed by these greedy owners. If it's a volume issue, limit reservations or hire more staff. At a bare minimum, CALL YOUR CLIENTS about any major changes. Greed greed greed. I'm finding a new place.
