We were there today because we adopted a dog from MAS Rescue and MM allows them to use their store as a meet and greet location. The owner was extremely nice!! We were able to get a dog tag printed on the spot before we left, along with some other goodies. There is also an upstairs sales floor. Parking is available behind the store if you turn on Hampnett Ave. You can either enter the store through the back or walk around the block to the front entrance (we did this due to the rain and mud). My…read morepuppy is already a frequent flyer at Good Doggie Day care and CPS is actually on the premises. So I dropped him off to play and Melissa picked him up for grooming. It was so easy! I told her exactly what I wanted and the communication was excellent. I came back to pick Hendrix up from daycare and he was beautifully groomed and tired from running all day. It was GREAT! :). If your dog is a member of the daycare, they just add her bill to your overall bill. It was just so easy. Unlike the ear test from Maryland Mobile, 3 days later and there is NO EAR WAX. Melissa actually cleaned his ears and didn't just say she did. And he smells AMAZING! It's been a while since his fur looked so shiny. I feel I can trust my pup with her.

The woman who owns this company is strange to say the least. My wife has hired them a few times to…read moregroom our two elderly (16yo) dogs. The owner has proudly in the past told my wife she won't take the Covid vaccine. We kept them anyhow. Today they came to groom our dogs. In the past, the owner has worn a mask, Today she didn't. While grooming dog number 1. my wife sent a simple note "Could you please wear a mask" when we switch dogs. In that I have a severe medical issue and will be having a major cardiac procedure in a few weeks, it seemed like a common sense simple request. 99.99% of normal humans would have had the courtesy to simply wear a mask if requested. Keep in mind she was entering my home and on my property. Common business sense is to humor your customer even if you disagree. The woman's bizarre response to a simple polite text was to stop grooming dog number 1, quit the job, hand back a soaking wet dog, and leave angry. Her chagrined husband was with her and he seemed pretty embarrassed. I'm always amazed about the degree to which some folks have made a simple public health issue into a nuclear political line in the sand. As a physician, I am quite confident saying that the vaccine is safe an effective. I have unfortunately seen too many folks die from Covid while still doing their "homework" on the vaccine. I think they should have done more homework in 10th grade science class. It is the ultimate in selfish to not only refuse to do the patriotic thing and take a vaccine that would protect your neighbors and family but to also refuse to wear a mask for 20 seconds if politely asked to do so in a business relationship. In the end, she wasted two hours of her time and never got paid. I can replace the service easily. I wish her safety and hope she survives the virus despite her medieval intellectual processes.
