I got a gift card to Nekter, and finally got a chance to try it out. In the Albertson's shopping center, plenty of parking, easy to find. Walked in, a few people enjoying their orders, and a few in line in front of me gave me time to look over the menu and decide. The person that took my order was cordial and made some suggestions about customizing my bowl, so that was good. I was interested in the bowls, and decided to try the Acai Banana Berry bowl. It reminded me of a bowl I tried at another spot. It was pretty good, definitely a good taste, great strawberries and bananas, and the sweet agave on top. Pretty big size as well.

This location is by far the BEST of all the Nekter Juice Bar's. The owner is AWESOME and is always here. Our orders are always consistent and customer service is great! What sets this location apart from the rest is the bang for the bucks and the customer service. Unlike the other Nekters around San Diego I have been to (La Jolla, Encinitas, and Carlsbad), when you order a fresh juice with ice, this location will give you a second cup with the remaining juice for the size you ordered. If you have a 32oz juice and the ice takes up 4oz, you will get the 4oz of juice in a second cup. They don't toss it out like other places. The customer service industry is deteriorating rapidly and you don't get that feeling when you come here. We are happy to call this our Spot!

I had tried Nektor before at other locations around San Diego area. Now I got a chance to attend their grand opening, thanks to Alex and her husband Frazier to organize and open the new location in Oceanside, the first 25 people get to win free smoothie once for 13 weeks, but you have to download the app, and put your name down, still my Nektor app didn't show any smoothie for me to claim yet, I might have to call the store and check with them later. They had DJ to spin music and a prize wheels during their opening, a lot of people lined up early including me who came at 4:30 AM :) I got to try their Popeye Açaí banana blueberry and spinach were a perfect combination. They also sell snacks and wellness shots to go. It's a hot summer, and if you're near Oceanside, you should visit Nektor and cool off with a smoothie or an açaí bowl for your liking.

My first time trying Nekter and I liked it! This is the small size and it's a generous amount. I find the smoothies are thicker and more creamy. Nice options, my favorite is the Pink Flamingo. Everything tastes so fresh! I just tried the Dragonfruit Bowl today and it was great! Minus one star since the last two times I have been there it has taken some time for someone to greet/help me. Maybe they need cameras or a bell? I placed my order online last night so it would be ready to go and I could get out of the door and to work on time. Again, I didn't wait long and had to wave at the employee to get out of there!

The shop is very clean and has indoor and outdoor seating. I had a bowl and my husband had a protein smoothie. The food went beyond our expectations. I came here for freshly pressed celery juice and they totally had it and made it fast and fresh. The girls have all been so sweet and one even offered me an iced water because it was such a hot day. I have been a fan of Nekter for many years. However after my last visit on Sunday I will look elsewhere. I ordered two new items on the menu, Pineapple whip bowl and Razzy Float. I subbed bananas instead of pineapples and added cacao nibs. For both items (plus tip) it was almost $30. Totally not worth it!!!! The bowl was very watery and the smoothie did not taste that great. My husband and I were really looking forward to a delicious smoothie. We ordered 2 smoothies both regular which cost us over $20 dollars and they literally had no flavor. Mostly ice! I had the Berry Banana Burst. It should be called the Berry Banana Bland. It says it has agave nectar, with berries and bananas. It literally had ZERO flavor. Not worth paying 10.00. My husband had the health nut. More like, nuts for ordering from this place. Bland and boring, but a little bit better than mine, hence the two stars. Wish they had just kept this a Jamba Juice!
