A5. Milk Tea with Boba and Puff Cream + H1. Original Bubble Waffle with Boba (secret menu)
    Maggie L.

I like this location a lot. The staff is always friendly, and the store is clean. It gets busy on weekends. My toddler (and myself) love the bubble waffle (crunchy exterior and soft inside). My go-to drink is the Ube Milk Tea with Taro Balls. For something refreshing, I recommend the Fresh Lemon series, like Wintermelon Lemonade. I've ordered boba as topping a couple times. But the texture of the boba just isn't to my liking, which is the reason I recommend the taro balls instead.

Food is delish! Can never get enough of bubble waffles! Yum!!! Service is fast and ambience is inviting. Good snack! Boba & bubble waffle fix!

I love Happy Lemon and it was my first visit to this location. Walking in, I felt comfort with the soft lighting and decor. It was very clean and the gal who helped me was very nice and made everything I ordered, perfectly. I definitely recommend!

I went to Happy Lemon on an impulse and was pleasantly surprised! The service: I was the only person there at the time I went, and I got my order within two or three minutes of ordering it! The staff were helpful as well. The food: I got the F3 on the recommendation board, which is essentially some sort of strawberry jasmine bubble tea with lychee jelly. It was amazing! And the drink cup is larger than I expected, perhaps 16 ounces. The environment: All lemon themed, yellow and white! Very clean, nicely lit place. Final thoughts and price: My drink was expensive, $7.35 for one bubble tea drink. It's good and definitely worth the price, though! Definitely one of those only once in a while treats.

Location is fine near Big Lots. Normally a safe area, however two doors down at BECU a lady was shot at the atm, so I probably won't going to this location in the evening. I've been to this location when it first opened. I've been to several Happy Lemons in Bellevue, Redmond, tukwila before locations popped up in Kent or Covington. This particular location the gals working the counter aren't particularly friendly people. Not like bobalust in Kent where I get over the top customer service. Only reason I visit a Hapoy Lemon if for their bubble waffle. I'm normally satisfied with how the bubble waffle turns out. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. This one came out ok, and the cook was uneven. Inside is small and quaint. Enough space if you and a friend wants to hang out, only problem is not a lot of room if you bring a group to get some treats. Even though I don't get quite the service I do when I visit other boba tea places, I still give them a fair tip. I'm Not too happy with the way the bubble waffle turned out though.

When in at 1:20 pm not one person was there ordered two bubble waffles. We waited 10 minutes. Got one a worm waffle and one was cold waffle with burnt pieces. I also got the cookies and cream dip and it was not good. I didn't have time to wait for another one to be made. This is my 2nd time going to the Covington store I will not be going back.

Boba is very fresh now under new management! Great to get some good bubble tea. Ordered the K4 Mango Smoothie with boba, oat milk and no added sugar.

One of the best boba shops in the area! Their drinks are consistently delicious every time I order. I've been loving their secret menu and the rewards program is legit!

Finally! A Happy Lemon in Covington! I love their crisp and chewy bubble waffles with a side of salted cheese. I tried A7, cold, which is milk tea with boba, coconut jelly, and pudding. It was amazing!!!

Everybody who worked there was very friendly and attentive. The ambience was very well done, and I really like the aesthetic feeling of the building. I like the yellow and the gray I got the brown sugar Boba tea, and I added tapioca I do like the fact that you can customize how much ice you get and how much sugar you have. The only downside to this place is you only have one choice for size. As far as sizes go, I think it's a fair price for the size however, I could never drink a full Boba tea, so maybe not fair for someone like myself

Our family has always been a fan of Happy Lemon. So glad they have one near our house! Inside is clean and modern looking. Staff are welcoming. They're still so brand new and are working out the kinks. We ordered two drinks and one of the drink was not tightly sealed and so there was some leakage going on. But they solved the problem by putting a plastic lid over it. Perfect! We will surely return in the near future! Pro tip: if you're going to get the bubble waffle, get their puff cream dipping sauce - game changer *Chef kiss*

I'm so stoked to see a Happy Lemon opened closeby to me! I found this place out from my friend who lives near the area. They were having a bogo promotion at their opening, so I had to take the opportunity to go! The shop was small but had some cute wall decors. The staff were friendly and were still in training. I ordered their mango green tea and regular milk tea. The drinks were consistent like most Happy Lemons. I did not order their bubble waffle this time but will return again for that. FYI this place is located at a shopping plaza by Big Lots.

The whole place feels refreshed in the best way while still keeping that calm, cozy charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. The atmosphere is effortlessly chill. Between the warm wood accents, lush greenery, and soft natural light, it feels like a tiny indoor oasis. It's the kind of spot where you can reset your day with something nourishing in hand. The menu updates have been fantastic. I love that they've added Lotus as an option, but what really stands out is their fresh juice. It's such a treat to walk in and have something made right then and there. They still offer their cold-pressed juices, which is great, but having both options makes it feel more personal and intentional. Their smoothies and açaí bowls are also top-tier, and you can genuinely taste the difference when they use real açaí. My current obsession is the Dragon Breeze with coconut milk instead of coconut water. The dragon fruit, mango, pineapple, and strawberry combo is already incredible, but the coconut milk makes it extra smooth, creamy, and refreshing. It's easily one of the best drinks I've had anywhere. The service is always warm and welcoming, and you can tell there's real care behind everything they do. Our Hive continues to be one of my favorite local spots, and I can't recommend it enough.

As we were driving away my friend sipped her blended breve mocha & discovered there was NO chocolate in it. So, we drove back to the line. Again they were defensive. I put 5 pumps in it. No, she didn't. When she handed us the newly made one it looked much darker.....like she pit chocolate in it. I started to explain that I was very unhappy with their service today & why. ROAST REPUBLIC: A MISLEADING MANIFESTO OF MEATY DISAPPOINTMENT…read more Listen, their coffee is an absolute revelation - each sip is like having your taste buds personally high-fived by the coffee gods themselves. BUT WHERE ARE THE SLOW-COOKED POT ROASTS? I showed up with THREE SEPARATE GRAVY BOATS and my grandmother's vintage meat thermometer FOR NOTHING. Their house blend has notes of chocolate, caramel, and bitter betrayal - because despite the word "ROAST" being RIGHT THERE IN THE NAME, I have yet to see a single dutch oven full of fork-tender beef chuck with baby carrots. I've been carrying around these emergency potatoes in my pocket FOR WEEKS just in case today was finally pot roast day. Sure, their light roast Ethiopian Yirgacheffe dances on your tongue with hints of bergamot and citrus. But let's talk about what's really important: I've developed a comprehensive business plan for a combination coffee shop/pot roast takeout window. I call it "Brews & Braising." They won't even look at my drawings of the proposed gravy dispensing station. The baristas can describe their roasting process down to the exact second and degree, but can they tell me why there isn't a single slow cooker bubbling away with aromatics and beef stock behind the counter? I've started bringing my own crockpot and just staring at it meaningfully while ordering my cappuccino. Their nitro cold brew is silky smooth with a perfect cascade. Whatever. You know what else cascades beautifully? PERFECTLY LAYERED POT ROAST WITH ROOT VEGETABLES. The sign says "Roast" Republic, not "Just Coffee Bean Roast and No Other Types of Roast Whatsoever" Republic. I've spent countless hours in their comfortable seating area, inhaling the aroma of freshly roasted coffee while quietly weeping over the complete absence of slow-cooked meat. I even created a loyalty program concept: "Buy 10 lattes, get a free pot roast." They said it "wasn't aligned with their brand vision." WHOSE VISION DOESN'T INCLUDE POT ROAST? Five stars for their coffee program - their commitment to bean sourcing and roasting is exceptional. But NEGATIVE MEAT stars for the cruel bait-and-switch of their name. I've started a support group for other customers who came expecting a combination coffee shop/pot roast emporium. We meet weekly, drinking their excellent coffee while sharing pot roast recipes that will never be used here. P.S. I heard they're introducing new seasonal drinks next month. I've already prepared a 73-page proposal for "The Pot Roast Latte" - coffee with beef broth and caramelized onion foam. Their loss. P.P.S. The pastries are delightful, though they would pair perfectly with a side of fork-tender chuck roast. I'm just saying, nobody ever complained about having TOO MANY pot roast options with their morning coffee. Note: To the staff who keep explaining that they only roast coffee beans - I understand, but have you considered the marketing potential of "Buy a pound of coffee, get a pound of pot roast"? I've already designed the promotional materials. The slogan is "Come for the Coffee, Stay for the Meat Sweats." Special Addendum: I'm not saying your business model is flawed, but I am saying that every coffee shop is improved by the addition of at least one industrial-sized slow cooker named Bessie. Think about it.
