Alex repaired my dryer on the same day visit and offered maintenance service and a 3 month warranty too! I fully expected to replace my dryer after it stopped working. VERY happy with Meteor Appliance Repair and technician Alex. I have an older Dacor rangetop that was having performance issues (ignitors not lighting burners and a valve that would not go to the lower simmer setting). The valve is obsolete and no longer available, but Alex swapped it with the working valve on my least favorite burner so that my favorite burner position now turns down properly. Alex adjusted all ignitors (six of them) so that all fire up the burners properly. Very happy with Alex's skills, the cost, and the result. Recommended! read more

Our fridge stopped working but freezer was fine, so I reaches out and scheduled an appointment to diagnoise the issue. Lex showed up and was very courteous and knowledgeable. I also had a dishwasher issue which he was able to resolve easily; so only paid the diagnostic fee. the repair quote for the fridge was very reasonable so the diagnostic fee will be waived to perform the work. about a week later. the oem part arrived and Lex came back to repair and the fridge is working again. We called Meteor Appliance Repair to take care of our fridge. The ice maker stopped working and it was leaking water everywhere. Akhmed came the next day and diagnosed it as a broken valve. He ordered the part and it arrived the next week. He came back the day after the part arrived and installed it. We paid for the part and for the service. Unfortunately the problem was not solved and so Akhmed came the next day to look at the fridge again. The part he had installed was faulty so he installed a new one a few days later. Still the issue was not resolved and the ice maker not working and the fridge was leaking. Akhmed came again two days later and installed a whole new ice maker and it solved the issue! They never charged us again for more visits and did their best to fix our issue as soon as possible. I called in for a quote to get my dishwasher repaired and was greeted by Mary who took down my information and setup an appointment to see Alex, whom I requested based on the rave reviews I read about his service and knowledge. When Alex came to my house, he was extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He explained in detail what was the cause of my dishwasher not working and meticulous went through his thought process on what needed to be replaced which was the circulation pump/motor. I was having an issue with my washing machine slighting dripping from the bottom. I reached out to Meteor and they quickly had someone over to take a look. The technician checked the machine and immediately found what was wrong, he told me it was the boot gasket and they it is something they'd have to order and it could take a few days to get here. Although they did add it was possible it could arrive by mid-week. The part got here on Saturday and by the afternoon my washing machine was good as new.
