I've been going to this mom and pop donut shop for decades. I can't believe I've never written a review. Their donuts are always fresh and delicious. My husband's favorite is their plain cake. I've been there many times later in the morning or early afternoon, and they are out of plain cake so it must be a popular choice. My favorite is the buttermilk donut with chocolate frosting. It's the best! They sell croissants, bagels, and a variety of drinks here. They also sell Lotto tickets! If you are ever in the area, check them out! read more

Stopped by here and got a maple bar when visiting another store in the same plaza. Came around 12pm and half of the donut display was empty already. Saw some good looking donuts like the tiger tail and bear claw were humongous so figured I couldn't eat it all so decided for a maple bar instead and it was the last one! When I got it, it looks a bit over fried because of the darker color so I thought it might be too hard, but when biting into the donut, it actually wasn't too hard or dry .. still soft and a bit crunchy. Taste was good.. wasn't too overly sweet. Pricing was reasonable .. $1.75 for the maple bar, tiger tail and bear claw were about $2.75 I believe (forgot to take picture of the menu) This shop has a few tables to sit and enjoy the food with a big parking lot. Will definitely want to come back earlier and see what the missing donuts from the display case are! read more

The best donut shop around ! I'll drive 20-30 minutes each week to come grab this goodness and love how fresh everything is. My go to's are the sugar twist, chocolate with chocolate glaze, and the apple fritter. The prices are super affordable, they have a clean dining area to eat at with plenty of seating, and service is always quick and friendly too! read more

Have you ever seen a fritter like this? There's actual apples in it and a whole lot of them as well. As an apple fritter lover, this is a top tier fritter. Most apple fritters these days don't have any apples, yet this one is stuffed. Highly recommend. Their boston crème is also pretty good. The glaze was not my thing, but this will be my go to place for fritters from now on. read more

Small shop with no frills dècor. They sell basic donuts and coffee, and have a small, separate counter to add creamer/milk and sweetener. The staff is always friendly and very helpful, and the donuts are good, and very reasonably priced. Parking can be tough sometimes, as there's a gym nearby sharing the parking lot. read more

Great and friendly place to get donuts, croissants, coffee & other beverages. The service is good , personnel polite with fair prices. You can also purchase lottery tickets, making it a one stop shop. Check it out! They are in the same lot with 24 Hour fitness, a Dominoes pizza, as well as dog groomer and gas station. I tried this place on a whim on the 4th of July and bought some donuts for my kids. My first impression was that the donuts look dry and stale. The glaze on the donuts looks less than desirable (strange looking texture, not smooth) and didn't really taste right. It didn't really taste sweet like I am used to. The taste of the actual donut (not the glaze) was pretty good. Similar taste to other donut places I've tried. Not spectacular, but not bad. Customer service was great. My favorite local donut shop to go to after the gym. This place has just the classic donuts and that's all I need. The prices are great too. I'm over driving hella far to DTLA or wherever trying to find a mochi donut or an overly sweet, colorful donut covered with cereal. We found a new favorite spot for donuts! We came here a few times and we love it! The donuts are big and and good. They have varieties even if you come late. The worker here is very generous and gives us options with our choices. It's a cozy little donut shop and i definitely recommend it to anyone. I've lived in this area for 20 years. It's a donut shop, you get donuts and all the other stuff like lotto, drinks, etc.... They get business because of their donuts and location, not customer service. They got two stars because everytime we go there to buy lotto, they're closed and they're supposed to close at the hour advertised, not 40 minutes before or an hour before. That's bad business practice. read more

Listen up yelpers! Finally stopped by DD for some COVID comfort food. I must say, I have been pleased with every visit. This family owned business is the best! All my visits have been pleasant, staff is very nice. On each of my visits, I kinda lean toward the same yummy donuts, which are always fresh and delicious. Thank you for great customer service DD's. Since COVID has effected all of us, I recommend supporting the smaller businesses, instead of the larger corps. I've been on a donut craze for the past few weeks & so I realized I never stopped by here even though my boyfriend lives across the street. Went in around 12pm & I was thinking, oh gosh - its so late, what if they don't even have any donuts. - Walked in & at first, i really thought there weren't any donuts but they just have a small selection on the regular. // I got 1 maple bar (she threw in a donut hole) & a dozen donut holes AND a small milk. The lady working there was really nice. Donuts were good! Service was good. I just wish the selection was a little bit bigger. read more

What a mess, the cashier was suffering from government-employee sloth-syndrome and didn't know prices to any menu items and had to repeatedly go to the back to talk to another person DESPITE the prices on the menu just above her. With the time we spent at the register, I could have gone home, made myself some food and driven back...well not really, but it took around 10 minutes for 3 items! We get our ham and cheese croissants and she only microwaved one of them....By then, the line was 3 people deep and shes taking just as long with them, when i finally get to her, my croissant has spoiled and I have a few grey hairs. Screw this place. Theyre good for coffee, already made donuts and lotto tickets. It got worse people! The 2 drinks I ordered were forgotten. Lmao. The woman that runs the place had way more sense than the cashier, she wasn't suffering from that government employee attitude. She apologized and gifted a donut. Sadly, she forgot that 2nd drink and I didnt want to bother. This place gets negative 3 stars. read more

This isn't Donut Man, Krispy Kreme or Donut Tree, but their donuts are pretty bomb too! The lovely couple that works here are always so friendly, the owner lady used to give me an extra donut hole every time when I was younger. Man, do I miss those extra donut hole days. Their donut holes always sell out by the time I get there so it was always nice when she saved me some. Donuts here are always fresh and just like Walnut Bakery, they don't make their pastries all day like other places which ensures the quality and freshness each time. My only real problem is why aren't they open 24 hours!! 4.3999 stars for a friendly family business, a sketchy guy that always asks for change outside, and smokers heh. I know they have no control most of the time, but I always see the owner talking to them like super buddies. I've been coming here ever since my dad would take me when I was little! This was the spot he would go to for lotto and chat with his fellow Filipinos. So now that I'm older, I'm so accustomed to coming here since its on the way home from my boyfriends place. Other than donuts, this they have other snacks for sale like yan-yan, cup of noodles, ect. I love coming here due to the service! The owners are so friendly, and usually like to put extra donut holes to my order. It's sweet! I've never had such a pleasant surprise from a donut shop before :) and besides giving me donut holes that i never ordered, they also give me a cheaper price than usual, for example if it was $3.05 they'll just ask for $3.00. what the heck! AND they give me free food!?!? What else can you ask for!? Other than the service the regular customers are fun to talk to! This place is so welcoming. I've seen this store for as long as I've been shopping at Albertson's in the same plaza. It just never attracted my attention enough to go in. The people smoking outside and hanging around that side of the plaza didn't help. But I finally got to try their donuts today. The donuts were amazingly fresh at 7:30pm! I suppose I should buy donuts in the morning but I've been having cravings at night more. The chocolate twist was really soft inside and without the oily aftertaste. Not bad at all. The cinnamon twist was ok... nothing too special, but still very fresh. I'm glad I finally gave this donut shop a try. The shop look kind of old inside. There were some people sitting around with no coffee or donuts in hand... all looking in one direction so seriously when I walked in. Then I realized they were all staring at the TV screen there playing keno! Wow! That's a first. I've never seen such a thing in a donut shop. Interesting. Came on a Wednesday morning which was decently crowded. Not many people in line, but rather many people already eating their donuts and sipping on their coffee. The donut selection isn't the most extensive in terms of flavors and unique creations, but the simplicity of the originals a.k.a maple bars, chocolate cars, sugar twist, glaze donut holes, etcs., are all great! Plus, they are never usually out of anything. The cashier that was working was really friendly and quite nice. I used to come here all the time when to buy donuts, since it was the only donut place I could walk to with decent prices. The owners are very nice, they even sold me donuts for less than half the advertised price, because I was short on change. I got a twisted donut for 25 cents while it should have cost 60 cents. I have bought discounted donuts more than a few times from them. Later, I came back for more donuts and started letting them keep my change, since they were so nice to me before. I don't come here anymore, since I watch what I eat now. It's ironic that I say that, since I'm holding cake in my picture. Really, I was just messing around with my sister's birthday cake at the time. But if you like donuts, go here and expect great service from the nice folks who run the place. read more

I want to say my favorite would be Matcha latte with variety of different milk. I don't know if I like the artificial banana flavor in the banana milk latte, but I definitely enjoyed their matcha flavor simple milk. The pastries are interesting. Sweet potato mochi is bomb, and the garlic bread warmed is really really good as the cream inside makes it so addicting.

Nice spongy texture with good amount of black sesame flavor. Hojicha Cold Foam Milk was good but thought it could've been little bit sweeter. Coco Hojicha Cloud was pretty good. The hojicha cream had good amount of sweetness and balanced well with the coconut water. Wintermelon Lemonade was refreshing although a bit sweeter than I expected. Overall I like this place, but not sure why Aroma Craft felt a need to open a place just for desserts & tea when its original location is just few doors down and already offers great desserts and drinks. I think it could've just expanded its dessert menu instead of opening this location. I rarely see any customers here, so hope it doesn't go out of business.

I'm a matcha person so I've only ever gotten their matcha, and if not just their strawberry hibiscus (no longer served), herbal tea, and strawberry milk. I love their selection of matcha: strawberry with chunks. One of the best I've had! Their blueberry matcha is pretty delicious also. The customer service is great. Everyone is kind and efficient. I'd say the baristas kind of keep to themselves though and aren't overly enthusiastic. But overall, still welcoming & nice! The atmosphere is simple with wood seating areas. I like it. However sitting for a long duration can be a little uncomfortable since there's not much back support, but luckily they have a basket with padded pillows to sit on. Recently they added tables along the corner nook area which is great! Aside from that they have little tray-like table tops to set your drinks on or laptops/books/etc; while working. There's also plenty of outlets which is a plus. Not to mention they always seem to have a good playlist goin' :) Oh! & they have outside seating as well underneath shaded umbrellas. My only complaint is it gets really hot in there during the hotter months. Especially since they're facing south and catch all the direct light early on in the day. Don't get me wrong, I love the natural lighting! It's just more prone to getting hotter & I'm not sure if they have A/C. I'm sure they probably do but it's never been exactly cold in there like most coffee shops, mainly room temperature. All in all Grid is a great spot! I highly recommend :)
