My daughter had her first experience with happy gas, so she was a very relaxed and kept saying she didn't feel a thing. They gave her a few tokens at the end of the appointment to use on the prize machines in the waiting room. That was the highlight of her day! All in all, 5 stars based on the office itself, the staff, Dr. Claus, ease of adding on treatment the same day and taking Delta Dental PPO!!! My kids have always been very receptive to going and look forward to the price they get to choose at the end. I really like bringing them here because they're very equipped for working with kids, both just the environment, but also how the staff interacts with the kids. The dentist we've seen have all been great at communicating and sharing any concerns. We recently started using the orthodontics Services with my older daughter, getting braces. That all has gone really well and the payment plan that they offer is very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with My Kids Dentist. My daughter says that it's easy to trust all the dentists and that they all are very kind.

They keep sending me multiple text messages about outstanding dues, when I call them asking for what I am getting charged for, they have no idea what the charge is for and its just "an estimate of what my insurance isn't covering" I ask them to stop sending me texts until they can tell me what my actual amount is, they said they cant. Mind you this is just for routine cleaning for my kids and I've never had it not covered by my insurance. I would also like to add that when they first sent me the bill, I blindly paid for the amount and then found out that I was wrongfully charged and had to go through a lengthy and annoying process foe a refund. Today my son came in for two fillings under oral sedation and use of laughing gas. The whole team made my son feel extremely comfortable which in turn had me feeling comfortable. Because of these issues of the practice, we've decided to seek care elsewhere. I hope they all move to Illinois so I can have them be my kids peds dentist location. My family and I were in Santa Rosa for a family wedding. The wedding was on a Sunday and my 23 month old daughter was the flower girl in the wedding. Sunday morning at 7:30AM my poor girl tripped into a set of stairs and knocked several teeth loose (one horribly loose). After some emergency consultation on Sunday we knew we had to wait until Monday morning in order to attempt to have someone see us. I called atleast 2 dozen Dentists, peds dentists, and periodontists within a 30 mile radius on Monday morning and every location was either closed, docs were gone or they didn't see kids. I was lost. My baby girl was in pain. And I didn't know where to turn. Fortunately, Dr. Angie's office was recommended for me to contact by one of the practices that couldn't see me. It would be over an hour drive but after they heard about our situation they vowed to try and squeeze us in. Keep in mind they had a fully booked day and were short staffed. We made the drive and they squeezed us in between patients, all while respecting the appointments and privacy of their current patients (not an easy task to do! I was impressed). They did a visual examination of my daughters teeth and knew xrays were needed right away. After Xrays, it was apparent that a tooth needed to be pulled. My wife and I already knew this and so did Dr. Angie and the team, but proper examination was needed. My poor girls teeth looked rough and it had to be done before we headed home. Dr. Angie and her team exceeded any expectation of bedside manner, love, care, comfort, and expertise that I had walking in there that day. We completed the procedure and 10 minutes later, my daughter was visibly doing better. We are home now and she is a happy girl. We have to keep a close eye on the other affected teeth, but she would not be where she is if it wasn't for Dr. Angie and her team. If you all decide to move to Illinois, I will be the first to sign up my kids as your patients. You brought more than just care to my baby girl, you brought it to all of us. Thank you! Thank you! Our longtime dentist retired and the next office I tried, Vacaville Dental Group, randomly stopped taking our insurance after onboarding all four of my kids. Weeks turned into months, my daughter needed a checkup, and the front desk response from a lady when I called was... let's just say, less than warm. Immediate nope. Cue Kids Care Dental, aka, why didn't we come here sooner?! This place is clearly designed for kids and parents who value sanity. TVs on the ceiling, sunglasses, headphones, and a calm, welcoming vibe that immediately lowers your blood pressure. The dentist is one of the kindest, most patient humans, she genuinely loves working with kids, and it shows. Every staff member was wonderful. While I was there, another little patient had a hard time leaving a toy behind, and an employee simply let him keep it. Meltdown avoided, mom relieved, kid ecstatic. He remembers his patients and will greet them as he passes by, even though he is on his way to another patient. My kids have completely different experiences because my daughter has had cavities and my son has had none. My daughter needed a filling at around 8 or 9 years old. She was already uncomfortable with the normal teeth cleanings and X-rays so I knew she would not like having to get a shot and teeth worked on. Dr. Bala tried comforting her by explaining what he was going to do and had no problem stopping if he thought she was uncomfortable. The office itself is very clean, welcoming and bright. There are televisions above the exam chairs to help distract the kids while they get work done. Dr. Bala has many assistants that help get the patients in and out in a timely manner. And although my kids are still hesitant going to the dentist, it is not out of fear. They just don't like the taste of the vitamins they put on their teeth.
