This place either is pretending to be poor or just doesn't care about presentation. The have a gaming playground area that has been broken on display for years. They also have a chalkboard with no chalk that kids just use crayons on. The dental techs are nice which is probably the only reason we still come. My message to this company is be better, your a million dollar company. read more

I've been going here literally my whole life and it just completely shifted into a terrible place ever since they went under new management. There is hair, trash, and dirt all over the floor you can mistake this place for a barber shop. couldn't take a picture but the light was so full of dust and dirt that the light looked brown. The only clean thing i've seen clean is the top of the patient chairs. The staff is nice but it took almost an hour to even start the appointment which is genuinely ridiculous. Additionally it's hard to schedule an appointment in orthodontics why are they only open 3 days a week? Management seems cheap and not concerned about quality care for patients . read more

Update** They were amazing until Kidscare dental took over this office. We were going to kidscare dental in vacaville long time ago and decided to switch when we realized how they just wanted to do extensive treatments to make money. We went to rolling hills for second opinion and loved this place for years. The dentist we see at Rolling hills is fine, very quick and checks the kids for less than 5 mins. The problem im having is their billing dept. They keep sending me multiple text messages about outstanding dues, when I call them asking for what I am getting charged for, they have no idea what the charge is for and its just "an estimate of what my insurance isn't covering" I ask them to stop sending me texts until they can tell me what my actual amount is, they said they cant. Mind you this is just for routine cleaning for my kids and I've never had it not covered by my insurance. I would also like to add that when they first sent me the bill, I blindly paid for the amount and then found out that I was wrongfully charged and had to go through a lengthy and annoying process foe a refund. I will be switching dental office and recommend other people to look elsewhere. read more

I have been going to Rolling Hills pediatric dentistry since my son was 3 he is now almost 12. Last year Rolling Hills was sold and things have gone completely downhill. We recently had an early Saturday morning visit and the office was filthy. The hygienist completed the quickest cleaning, approximately 3 minutes. She was so fast I even asked if she was actually done. Nobody had reviewed my son's records. Asked questions they should have known. We won't be back. read more

Used to take my Son here in 2021 & 2022. Since then it has changed to Kids Care Dental & it is by far THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. In 2021, they had some weird mix up with Delta Dental & sent ne a $30 bill after a "get to know you" exam fory 3 year old. I was told by the office to disregard it, and we never heard about it again, even at subsequent visits. Suddenly in February of 20/4, I start getting multiple emails & texts every week about this old " overdue balance". I have spent hours on the phone with the billing department, a manager at the office, and their ridiculous call center. I was told in February they started using a new billing system, that I DO NOT OWE THIS MONEY, and that it woukd be resolved & I shouldnt be getting any more noticed. THEY STILL COME MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK. Inhave since called & emailed, you cannot get through, and nobody returns messages or emails. Nobody answers phones at the office, only some call center somewhere. Its a middle eastern man named "Mike" with a VERY strong accent & talks so fast, you cannot understand him. He cant help you with anything. Ever. I am fed up. I tried again today, and once again, can only get that same guy & he says "you will just have to wait because the billing dept is very busy". We have been going for years my oldest is now 18 and the last couple of years their service has just gone down. New staff,new dentist new scheduling system which by the way is horrible,which they don't answer when you call to schedule and appointment. What a great experience. It had been a year since my kids had their teeth cleaned as we transitioned to an orthodontist for braces for both of my kids. Since Kids Care Dental has taken over, it's impossible to get someone on the phone. Then once you get them on the phone they don't seem to understand their jobs and give you one answer only for it to be the wrong answer so you're stuck on the phone again trying to get someone to answer. read more

I have been taking my kids here for a few years and the billing dept is terrible. Every few times I go for an apt they tell me I have some unpaid balance I owe from a previous apt, however I always pay at the time of service too. Ins co payment check sent to me instead of them. Amounts never matched the notices from the ins co. And they always have issues with care credit payments also. I will be switching to a new dentist. read more

It was my daughter's first dentist appointment and I think we were equally nervous but everyone from the receptionist, to the hygienist and dentist made our visit relaxing, quick and easy. I took my daughter to Rolling Hills for the first time this past week and it was an amazing experience! To give you some background, my daughter is 15 months old and has never been to the dentist. All the staff including the front desk were warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. The appointment itself was very fast but they made my daughter feel comfortable with people looking at and being inside her mouth. The doctor answered all my question and gave us some education about what to expect with a teething baby and preventative dental care for small children. I would highly recommend this office for children of all ages and look forward to bringing my daughter back in 6 months for another exam. read more

Ever since Dr. Garcia left, this place has gone downhill. We'd been patients here for 7-8 years and are sad to go. Like another reviewer said, one red flag..maybe. Two? Time to go. We stayed because we'd seen Dr. Andrews, who was great with my 3 daughters. Twice, I showed up for a cleaning appointment, only to be told I'm seeing a different doctor. Mind you, I complained the first time and advised them that I'd like to be called if changes are made to my appointment. Once, when my daughter had an issue I wanted advice about, I called for a week straight and leave voicemails with no call back. Horrible customer service. Look somewhere else for your child's dental care. This place doesn't hold themselves accountable for errors made and doesn't apologize for the inconveniences they bestow upon their patients. Absolutely Terrible experience!! I have had my 3 kids here for at least 9 years. My daughter needed a couple fillings and on more than one appointment it took over 3 hours. On our most recent appointment we were told after the.numbed her for 2 teeth they didn't have time to do the other tooth. it took almost an hour before they even started on her then 2 more hours for.1 tooth. Then we were told she.should go to an adult dentist now. I spoke with manager and she did not to make up for the inconvenience. Then I wrote them directly a week later and never heard from them. We have been seeing Dr. Garcia at this location for years and actually drove over 40 min after we moved because she was so amazing. I must say, there is a clear difference since she left. The close, loving, bedside manner she gave isn't quite there anymore and it seems like they are more concerned about cancellation fees and adding new "needed" procedures that were previously not mentioned before. The dental assistant was absolutely amazing I want to start off there. And I appreciated her the Dr not so much I felt like he didn't know what he was doing my daughter had an extraction he pulled out some of the tooth but could not get the rest of the tooth out and kept switching tools and worked on my daughter age 8 for an additional 45 minutes it was scary he said this happens sometimes with 2 percent of people. And became sassy and a little unprofessional in front of my daughter. I then said we can just stop then he said it's my professional place to say this is an emergency and I said and I am the parent my daughter has been through enough distress. I do not recommend it's not the same since the other doctors are not there. Please do your research before coming here. Highly disappointed seems like he didn't know what he was doing then proceeded to say he needs it to be quiet to do the extraction. read more

I have been bringing my kids here for 13 years. They have been going down hill since Dr Gerber left but we continued. They recently changed dentists again (like 4th time since Dr Gerber left). I got a voicemail saying the dentist left and I needed to make a new appointment and a text saying the dentist would be out of the office that day and I needed to make a new appointment. I used that opportunity to just switch them over to my dentist. I wouldn't even be writing this review if it were not for the news that I got from my dentist today about one of my kids teeth. I had a child who had radiation to her head and neck and I have never been told in the last eight years that she had any damage to the roots of her teeth, because of this radiation until today! She saw her old dentist at Rolling Hills in March and there was no mention of any cavities but today she had such a large cavity in one of her molars that has reached the pulp and needs a root canal. Here's the kicker, the tooth is damaged from radiation and does not have enough root to get a root canal so now we have to go see a specialist. I am seeing red because I feel like Rolling Hills dropped the ball big-time. read more

Don't let the 4 stars fool you. My kids have moved over to GV Smiles and started seeing Dr.Franklin (who is AMAZING) due to the fact that this office can't keep their shit together. My son had some cavities that Dr. Garcia decided to throw some silver crap on (forget the medical name of the paste like stuff she used) -- well long story short, she wasn't using it correctly (there has to be a second application within a certain amount of time for it to be effective, which she wasn't doing). Thanks to this, we found out at our new dentist that the tooth was infected and we just spent $1,800 on sedating my son and having the tooth pulled. Oh you want icing on the cake? During one of my sons last appointments with Dr. Garcia, she identified a "new" cavity -- when I explained to her that was the tooth she put the silver crap on, she looked up at her assistant and said "oh why isn't that in the notes?" IN FRONT OF ME. Now to put the cherry on top ... I was contacted by a collection agency that I had an outstanding bill with them, when I asked what the charges were for I explained to them that what I am being charged for was never done to my son in the appointment. I then went to contact the office manager who said "well the notes state that it was done and this is a legal binding document". OH REALLY?! Well as my paragraph above stated -- clearly there is an issue with your "note takers" so how is that legally binding?? And in summary she basically said "it's not her problem" at this point. My children have been going here for 10+ years and we will now be headed elsewhere. Rolling Hills sent us to collections on a bill we never received. I spoke to someone and they said we will call you back tomorrow. (That was 12 days ago and no call back). I've e-mailed, messaged on Facebook and no response. Today I called again and was told I need to call Delta Dental and figure out why Rolling Hills screwed up. After speaking with Delta Dental they confirmed Rolling Hills screwed up but the $ figures don't match up. Dr. Nutter and Dr. Shaffer are awesome dentists. However the lack of accountability and poor customer service are sending us elsewhere. read more

The women at the front desk were SO welcoming and kind. I had an 8 year old and a newborn with me and was nervous about the experience since my son was going there for the first time. They just made us both feel so comfortable from the beginning and took extra time to explain insurance and finance questions. The hygienist worked well with my son and explained everything she was doing. It was a fairly long wait for the dentist but when she came in she was so quick and got us out of there as soon as possible. We are headed back in a few weeks and I hope we continue to have a positive experience because we really enjoyed our last visit. Highly recommend. read more

Up until today, I would have rated them 4 or 5 stars. My children began seeing Dr. Nutter roughly 9 years ago, and continued to see Dr. Schaffer after Dr. Nutter stopped seeing patients. The dental care my children received was always great, and our interactions with the staff were always positive. This all changed today. We received a phone call from their accounts manager threatening to cancel my kids' appointment tomorrow over an outstanding balance from 2018. They had been seen multiple times since then, and every office visit I checked to make sure we were paid in full. Until today, I had no idea there even was an outstanding balance. She threatened to cancel the appointments if we did not call back by 3 pm. My wife called at 1:30 pm, was transferred to voice-mail, and left a message. The manager called again after 3 stating she was canceling the appointments because we had not returned her call, which we had. She acted as if she had tried to collect this debt for a while. She had not. The only phone calls I or my wife received in regards to this were today. We had not received any written correspondence stating we owed money. And again, EVERY time my kids were seen, I asked if anything was owed. She continued to act as if we had intentionally been avoiding paying this debt, and would not accept an offer of payment at tomorrow's already scheduled appointment, insisting that payment must be made today or the appointments would be canceled. In response, I said I would pay the balance, but to cancel the appointments anyway because I do not wish to continue doing business with someone who would treat us this way. Let me reiterate, a nearly decade long relationship was burned because their accounts manager was hostile, confrontational, and would not accept my reasonable offer to repay the balance at a time I was already scheduled to be at their office. read more

Wouldn't recommend choosing this place to bring your kids. They lack professionalism and communication. It used to be a good place to take your kids when Dr. Garcia worked there, since then it has gone down hill. Every time I go in there my kids see a different dentist. Even when I made sure to request Dr. Andrews and was told I would definitely see her I showed up to the appointment and it was someone else I had never met before. The worse part is no one bothered to call me. If your child like mine needs to trust her dentist and get used to that person before she can feel comfortable to let them work on their teeth, then DON'T bring them here. read more

I have had my daughter go here for the last 15 years when Dr.Garcia owned the practice. She was an amazing and one of a kind doctor. After she left,we tried Dr.Andrews and she's a nice dentist and caring but my daughter only saw her twice and has since gotten one dentist or another without us knowing in advance of the changes. Now we even get bills from there and they even don't dealt with it. It's routes to Kids Care in Sacramento! The last year has been frustrating besides the location not looking clean especially the bathrooms. At this point, my daughter will be attending elsewhere. I have already expressed my frustrations with their billing systems & phone system to the front office manager and office staff. I don't recommend this location for children's dentistry for these reasons & that there's no privacy rooms when your child is getting their dental service. That layout isn't conducive. read more

I called to try and figure out what happened. I was told there was a mix-up with Delta Dental and the office manager would call me back tomorrow as they've been having a lot of issues. It has now been 8+ days and no phone call. I e-mailed two days ago and no response. Honestly, I wish there were more accurate reviews here. We came on the reviews. Here's my warning: Dr. Garcia is not all these reviews are cracked up to be. For one thing, she's seen my daughter for 5, nearly 6, years and calls her random other names through every single appointment, ignoring anything my daughter says to the contrary. Apparently, her alternative methods are about as effective as patchuli oil. Last September, she threw some silver on my daughter's cavity and apparently decided it mystically resolved itself. Shockingly it didn't... she ended up needing a root canal (how interesting since she told me I had to have my son's teeth extracted because they don't do baby teeth root canals.) Now between my kids 6 month cleanings, my son had to have his 2 molars extracted. See they had cavities but weren't causing him pain in March. Their staff decided that (this makes it easier on the patients according to them), he would get 1 cavity filled in June and the other 2 in September. We came in a few weeks ago as an emergency and he was in pain, that's where this weird lie about root canals occurred and he was referred to oral surgery to have his two teeth extracted. No worries though, 21 days later he can have the adjacent molars filled and be fitted for spacers. YEAH. RIGHT. Of course Dr. Garcia's staff somehow actuallys sedated my son with nitrous today and still only did one filling. Still waiting to find out if they poisoned him today. Stupid. This place is a malpractice claim and a half. I have no idea what the other doctors are like but I have seen this one since my daughter was 2 and my entire son's life and it has COST THEM TEETH. This review is long overdue. I looked on yelp for the number schedule appointment and was surprised to see they aren't rated 5 stars. A few years ago my daughter had a TERRIBLE experience at another dentist that insisted on giving her gas for a filling and forced it on and she freaked out. After that, she feared going to any dentist and it was always a big tantrum and headache (for me) taking her to the dentist! Someone told me to try Rolling Hills and described their practice and it sounded like it might work out. When my daughter had her first cleaning she was nervous but after a few minutes she completely relaxed and let her guard down. The whole environment has a good vibe. The staff and dentists really know how to interact with kids and the exam seems calm yet happy. They are really good too, they explain dental hygiene to the child good and know how to keep it interesting! What i also like is that they don't rush to do invasive procedures unless necessary. They know the anatomy of pediatric teeth and aren't pushing for procedures just to make money. Both my kids go there and taking them to the dentist is no big deal anymore and and they look forward to getting the little token at the end of their visit to put into the gum-ball machine and get a prize. read more

THIS CLINIC HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY KIDSCARE (Fall 2020) and has gone down the toilet ever since. This used to be an amazing place with wonderful staff, but the new corporate owner has completely done away with all the positive aspects of this clinic and has run it into the ground. They nickel and dime charges and management is overtly rude to the front desk staff in front of patients. Ever since they (Kids Care) took over, most of the wonderful old staff have been fired. I have been taking my son (who is on the spectrum of autism) to see Dr. Nutter. I think Dr. Nutter is the best and he tells it the way it is and is friendly to the military community. In the past, my son need a procedure done ASAP. He was booked and he referred us to the Travis DGMC oral surgeons to get him done sooner. Dr. Nutter was very concerned for our son's well-being and so money was not a matter for him. He did not hesitate and immediately set us up to get this procedure done. Bar none this is an honest business and I trust him and his staff. This morning (25 April), I had my son see Dr. Nutter once again. This time he had another assistant (Jennifer) and OMGSH! She was the BEST! She totally put my son at ease, got his X-rays done (our son always refuses them) and overall it was probably the best experience at this Dentistry to date! We need more Jennifers because she was so professional, courteous and made everything seem easy! I so wish my son could continue services here but he's growing up to be a young man. If you have a child on the spectrum of Autism, this is the place to go. They are proactive and cater to what the family needs! read more

My son has been begging me to go to the dentist. Who does that?? We came to this practice after my son lost 2 teeth before the age of 5 just to ensure that everything was ok. Upon arrival we were fretted by the most interactive, relaxing waiting room I have ever seen. Video games, magazines, books and movies galore! My son rushed to place on the 4 different game consoles while I stood at the entrance taking it all in. The staff checked us in and greeted us with a smile. Once we were called back, we ce upon even more televisions and personal cleaning and exam stations for each kid. My son quickly informed the staff that he did not want to have his x-rays taken and they worked with him. He was given a token for after the visit (to get a prize out of the machine) and a choice of 7 flouride flavors!! I wish I was under 18 so that I could be a patient here! The visit went quickly and my son was sad to leave. Even his 7 month old brother had fun. If your child is terrified of the dentist, this is the place to be! Every fear was washed away in an instant and now my son is a happy camper! read more

I've been bringing my children to this business for 20+ years and it has really gone downhill in the last few years since changing ownership multiple times. The cleanliness and up keep deteriorated but I liked Dr. Andrews a lot, so we stayed. It is now owned by a corporation and it has gotten worse. After our recent appointment experience, we won't be returning. First, my child's appointment was canceled because there was no dentist available that day. Second, my call was never returned to reschedule. Third, I was never told that my child would be seeing another dentist because her dentist left 2 months prior. The final straw was that her regular cleaning and check up took only 15 minutes! And she is a teen with adult teeth!!! I have never experienced that in my life! In my experience, that type of appointment is usually 45 minutes to an hour. There was another teen who came in shortly after my teen, and his appointment was just as brief. It was just floss, brush and dentist takes a look & applies fluoride, in that order. No tartar scraping of the teeth was done. And then your insurance will be billed a large amount of money for a ridiculous 15 minute appointment, half of which could've been done at home for free. They weren't even busy!The positive...the dental assistant and dentist were nice, and were probably directed by corporate to do minimal and get patients in and out. Sad...this was such a reputable, caring, and amazing business for a long time. Not anymore...won't return. read more

Dr.Garcia used to be my dentist growing up, now shes my kids dentist and I love it. From the very first dentist appointment she made sure they were comfortable. Her staff is really friendly and made it easy for the kids to talk to them. I have a 3yr old and a 2 yr old, so when my 2yr old is acting a little scared they take there time and talk to her, and boom she's cooperating :) all the staff there are awesome! read more

FIRST IMPRESSION: nice open space. Kids video game corner off to the right if the entrance. Not as visually impressed as I was with our prior pediatric dentistry (Hilgers pediatric dentistry in Goodyear, Az). LIKES: when I was first stationed at Travis AFB, my son saw Dr. Nutter. Now that we are back again, I decided to take all 3 of my kids back. All three kids see Dr. Nutter. He is friendly and he engages with my kids. Staff is real friendly too. My son has had some work done and he is deathly afraid of needles and shots in his mouth but when he told me he didn't even feel a pinch at all, he and I were both sold AGAIN! Do glad I decided to go back to Dr Nutter. I don't have to worry about the kids being scared to come here at all. :) DISLIKES: nothing to mention. read more
