If you have trouble getting your fingerprints done COME HERE. They will take the time to make sure your fingerprints go through and actually explain how the process works. I previously had gone to a UPS store in Downey and the girl working there barely acknowledged any of my questions and just tried to get me out with a quickness. This place made me feel like they cared and I can say with happiness that my fingerprints all passed and I received my license immediately! I called for an appointment for a live scan and passport photos. The voice over the phone was happy and bubbly. I got an appointment right away. I walked in and was quickly greeted by Brian and Mario; Two young guys with great personalities. Right away they made me feel like a long time friend of theirs. Mario took my photo and was very pleasant and professional. Brian took my fingerprints all the while explaining what he was doing as well as showing me. He proudly showed me his certificate which certifies him to roll fingerprints; I appreciated the professionalism. I have had several live scans before and I must say this was the fastest service yet. The price was very reasonable. All in all, a great experience! The store was clean and very well organized; they had lots of stationary products. I need to complete 5 live scans within the next 10 days. I called Happy Mailbox today to set up an appointment, since their website indicates the rolling fee is $18 per live scan if you have an appointment ($20 without). The man who answered the phone was rude and short with me, and when I tried to make an appointment, he told me I could just come in anytime. When I tried to explain that I wanted the appointment for the reduced rolling fee, he hung up on me mid-sentence. :( I wanted to like you, Happy Mailbox, I really did. I always try to support small business and Paramount businesses when I can. But I guess I will have to take my $100+ in rolling fees to a company that's actually going to respect me and my time. +1 star for the fact that even their regular rolling fee rate is lower than the $25 many other places charge. read more

Came to this place because I needed DHL service to send highly important docs internationally. Saw that it had good reviews since I'm a big yelper....hence this review. Customer service was off the Richter scale I can't say that for many places, which is why I think I'll be coming here more often. They genuinely give the highest quality service which is important for any business. I've had bad experiences in the past with fed/ex and it's due to the fact that they have poor communication with the customer and seem apathetic to the customers concern...why even be in a customer service job with that attitude. I have been to this place twice. The first time, seeking postage for a package being mailed to Germany, the staff squabbled with me for 5 minutes prior to agreeing to determine the cost of postage to send the package to an international destination!? They're a bloody postal services shop! I ended up buying the postage I needed from them, and taking the package to the post office myself. On my second try there (which motivates this review), I just needed a stamp for a birthday card. Plain card in a rectangular envelope -same kind of thing anyone may have mailed or received with one first class stamp. I placed the card in an envelope on the counter, and asked to buy a stamp. The cashier took the card and envelope in hand, set it on her cash register, and told me that I would need to purchase two stamps for $1.20. I assumed that they did not sell single stamps, and I said OK, since I like to keep a spare stamp in my wallet anyway. Upon payment, she placed both stamps on the envelope. I looked at her quizzically and asked why two stamps were necessary. She said that the card and envelope felt heavy to her. I asked her to weigh the envelope, and she declined. The owner, who oversees operations from his desk in the corner, wore a frown through both transaction as his staff was asked basic questions, rather than offering to provide answers or explanation. He did not put the happy in mailbox! Caveat emptor at Happy Mailbox. On the plus side, I've found them not crowded when the post office a few blocks over has been packed. That's enough consolation for me to return when necessary. Sigh. read more

I asked about the prices and they gave me all the information right away! Also, they give a physical address, not PO box, which means you can receive packages from FedEx and such, unlike a PO box. So far no problems. The staff is friendly, the cute girl behind the desk always has a smile on her face and a greeting for me when I arrive. The best part is the address they give you can pass for an actual residence. What I mean is, if you recieve large packages that can't go to P.O. Box's this place will allow them. The price is reasonable and typical for the area around $60 total for 3 months. Just make sure to have the right directions if you are using public transportation. I looked EVERYWHERE! to get some papers notarized and I found Happy Mailbox by faith because once I arrived it was their Grand Opening and they had great customer service and the lady that specifically does notarization's and she was sweet and kind and I had things to print out as well. Their internet was extremely fast and everything was fast and great price!! Everything came out to be 25$ where in FedEx it was 75$!! I met the manager who was very professional along with everyone else who worked there. They made myself and my husband feel so comfortable and since it was the grand opening we also got free tacos and raffle tickets which lead to me winning 4 TICKETS FOR A FREE VACATION!! Worst experience ever if I could give then no stars I would, I came here because I needed to do a fed ex drop off for some books my husband had rented online. The older Asian guy was very rude. He got upset because I didn't tape the boxes. I also had to drive back to this place because he didnt provide me with tracking information. He tryed to make me look dumb.
