The techs are also kind and want to provide the best service possible Wait time: 2/10 You will be waiting whether you make an appointment or walk-in. I've made appointments several times (typically on Thursdays or Fridays) and I make them a couple days in advance. Every time I get there, I wait about 30 mins or more past my appointment time. So I started walking in and my experience has been the same. If you have somewhere to be, I would either try to communicate that or complete your to-do list before because you will most likely be waiting at this shop. Quality of work: 9/10 The work is amazing. I've only had Hannah and she is funny and easy to talk to. She is a perfectionist, so if you want someone who can rush you in and out, that isn't her speciality. Love Happy Nails! I've been getting my nails done here for about a year. They have great hours, take walk-ins, and don't usually have a long wait time. All of the staff members have a good attitude, even though I've observed them having to engage with terrible customers who have unrealistic expectations and don't expect to pay for good service and a quality manicure or pedicure. I really really hate writing one star reviews, especially for small businesses, but this was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I came in for a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. I was able to get a chair right away to get started on the pedicure. The girl who helped me was so rough. I still have a cut on my foot from where she cut me. She also was working really quickly, the point of it feeling rushed and not as good as it could have been. From there I moved over to get a gel manicure. This was relatively fine and uneventful, but still felt very rushed. I didn't love the color but felt like she was pushing me to keep it since she'd already done one nail. I kept the color against my better judgement. When she finished my manicure, she tried to put my shoes back on and I asked to keep the little flip flops since my car was around the corner and I was worried my toes weren't dry. She insisted and basically put my shoes back on for me, and shocker - my toes weren't dry. So my pedicure was ruined before I even got home. And then my gel nails started peeling off within ONE WEEK of getting them done. I got the mani and pedi prior to a vacation so I didn't have time for them to fix the pedicure (I left the next morning) and my nails were pretty much completely off by the time I got home from vacation. I would never come back to this salon after this experience. read more

I had a horrible incident with them, I had to report them to health services and turns out that not all their technicians at that time had their licenses. if you do risk going I would suggest you make sure you ask about the price up front, get pictures of past designs the nail person has done, and for them to show you their licenses. read more

Do not ever come to this salon unless you want to have nail glue stuck on your skin and a scar on your foot from a horrible pedicure. I mean it. Came here a few weeks ago and received the absolute worst unprofessional service i've ever had by a guy with long hair, I don't remember his name. I asked for a signature pedicure (one of their most expensive option) and the guy was extremely rough and inexperienced. He did not shape my toes whatsoever, sped through the entire thing. He scraped the entire side of my foot with the pumice stone, leaving a scratch from broken skin. Its been two weeks and I still have a 2 inch scab that is barely healing. Even worse, when the same guy went to do my nails, he struggled opening the nail glue bottle so he squeezed it with the nozzle pointed at me. It went ALL. OVER. MY. HANDS. I had toxic nail glue stuck on my skin all the way up to my wrists. After that, he began scrubbing my hand with a dirty towel to get the glue off. I told him I was leaving because the service was horrible and I literally had a cap of glue stuck on my hands, which were now red from him scrubbing. Oh, and he had already drilled my nails paper thin, so I couldn't go anywhere else. And the worst part? They still made me pay that horrible painful pedicure. It took me two weeks to write this review simply by how angry I have been thinking about that experience. Please save your time, money, and skin by not going here. ever. read more

Avoid this place at all costs for gel extensions and especially removal! Went here to get apres gel-x removal and a new set of gel extensions. The person doing the removal ruined my natural nails, at one point they were using their fingernails to rip off the gel-x extensions, and then they buffed my nails so much that they burned when going under the UV light later on, so much that I had to keep pulling my hands out after a few seconds. They also cut back my natural nails way further than I agreed to, so I have to start growing them out all over again. For the new gel extensions, they used something like super glue to adhere them to my natural nails, and it was pretty sloppy, so two weeks in they are already breaking off. Usually I get nail art done but at this point I just wanted to get out of there, so I just asked for a single color. The paint job was so bad that when I went to pay, the person checking me out looked at my nails and actually re-did the color. While that was nice, I'm still left with broken nails after two weeks and natural nails that are going to take months to recover. read more

I've tried to give this place a chance on 3 different occasions. Each time I came, there was an issue. First time, the woman decided to paint my nails a color that i specifically did not request and rushed me. I wanted an ombré hard gel nail. First she didn't know how to do an ombré and when I said I can do OPI bubble bath, she gave me a horrendous pink. Instead of fixing the issue when I brought it to their attention, they asked me to come back another day....Not only did they make me pay full price, but they never fixed the color. I had to come back after closing to fix my nails. No refund, discount or anything. Then I tried to get my lashes done. I called ahead and was asked to come at 6:30. Then they called back and asked to come at 7. I arrive at 6:45 and someone doesn't come to service me until 7:22. I explain I just want a cat eye lash...they start talking because they don't know how to do that style (which is just varying lengths). So then they ask me YET AGAIN, to please come back after I waited for 40 minutes. I said no and she asked again because it would take too long to do. So I left. I will never go back there. They seem to cater to one type of person anyways. read more
