I broke a nail and had some time between meetings so I called to see if they had availability for a walk-in. The gentleman who answered the phone was friendly and said they'd be able to see me right away. I arrived minutes later and was greeted by Amanda. I decided to get a fill and change from French tips to a natural color. Amanda was nice. She wasn't very talkative, which is fine because it made for a very relaxing visit. I like her attention to detail, and that fact that the acrylic wasn't applied super thick. Overall, I was in and out within an hour and was pleasantly satisfied with the end result. Cost $$ - I was charged $51 for the fill plus nail replacement. Not bad. Glad I took a chance on this place despite the reviews. I'll be back! read more

I went to Happy Nails for the first time. I was very impressed with their professionalism. They took a lot of time and did a beautiful job!

I will never go back. The lady who helped me was very rude. Kept wanting me to sit closer to the table. However, my face was already within a couple inches of the plexiglass between us. Sat up and leaned in as much as possible, but that wasn't good enough. She stopped doing my nails. Came around in back of me and shoved my chair closer. I pushed my chair back where it was. She then told me I needed to relax and hit the back of my hand with the file. I said "how can I relax when I'm being treated this way?" She said something to the man in the salon (in a different language) and he came over and told me to "watch the tv. it will help you relax." If she hadn't already filed my nails and was ready to polish them I would have walked out. Not to mention it is not clean - she placed my hand on a gift wrapped cereal box during the dying process. Keith was recommended to me by a friend for pedicures. It was my first time at this shop and he was excellent. He was helpful and informative, taking the time to explain why some of my toenails were causing me pain. He took care of calluses and other issues with my feet, and we had good conversation. I'll definitely come back here instead of going all the way to Salem. read more

I wasn't even greeted as I waked in the door. All I needed was a quick eyebrow wax and the man just said "we don't have time." He didn't even make any sort of eye contact with me. Not only was the customer service bad. The place smelled awful and seemed very cramped and cluttered. I am not "happy" with happy nails and will not be returning. read more

I had to give it a 1 to add review. The male owner here sucks big time. Years ago I stopped doing business here because a woman with one hand came in and he said he would charge regular price. When she asked why when she only had 1/2 set of nails he was rude. This was about 2012 and I couldn't get a quick spot at Ultra Nails. I never Went back. The woman was treated so incredibly rude. I have gone 5 years without and was looking to schedule and ran across this and saw she isn't the only disabled person he has treated poorly and as inhuman. They should be out of business. The gentleman that helped me was extremely rude and refused to even listen to the shape I wanted and insisted that I was wrong and it wasn't a real shape. The shape I wanted was a semi-long, narrow nail with square corners. I've gotten this shape for years from various nail artists. I tried to explain to him that it's kind of a short coffin shape. My nails are currently not the same size and some are crooked. I felt he treated me as if I was a child and had no idea what I was talking about even though I've been getting my nails done for many years. On the bright side he was very careful and cautious when painting my nails. I appreciated that. I probably won't return. read more

Avoid like the plague. The woman did my pedi and leg waxing. Cut my heel. Adequate pedi. Not much of a massage. Also, the absolute worst set up for waxing; the table bangs into the wall?? I will never frequent this business. The owner refused to even acknowledge my friend, strictly because she has a developmental disability. Initially refused to do her nails because her "hands are too heavy". He was incredibly rude and discriminatory; he obviously didn't even consider the impact his actions had on this young woman. I have gone to nail salon's a number of times in different locations. I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at this location. The owner and staff are curt and unfriendly. No sense of customer service. I had the same experience as the other reviewer about having my hands roughly jerked and being told I didn't know how to hold my hands. This has never happened in all the other times I have had my nails done. I made the mistake of going back to give it another try and it was only worse. They dilute their polish and it doesn't cover evenly. But worst of all is their lack of warmth or caring for their customers. I won't go back even though that means I will have to travel to Salem to have my nails done. It will be worth the trip. I have money left on a gift certificate I received for this shop but my experience was so bad that I will not go back and use it. read more

My regular person (from a different salon) had to cancel on me at the last minute on a Saturday so I attempted to try there since I was desperate. I made an appointment for 3:15 for a fill. Upon arriving he asked me to pick out my color. 75% of the regular polish were separated and clearly old. He had me take a seat at which time he is wandering around doing things around the salon. He finally sits down to start my nails at 3:35. He starts to file my nails. He noticed I needed a couple repaired. It is now 3:40 when he tells me if he files the others and others need repair that he won't be able to finish because of his next appt. Um....excuse me?! He started my appointment 20 minutes late, even though I was on time, and he has the nerve to tell me he can't finish me? Nope! Not how this works. I had him just take them off. I'd rather go without my nails until I can get into my regular tech than give him the added money/business if that's the way he's going to operate and provide customer service. read more

I went in for a simple acrylic fill and to have one nail repaired because the woman I usually go to in Salem was out sick. The man (owner) was rude from the beginning. I asked if he could do gel polish, which is what I usually get, and he told me no, no one does that anymore and if I was worried about chipping I should just buy the polish from him and fix it. I wish I had left then. While doing my nails he spent more time jerking my arm around, swatting my hands and complaining that I was holding my hands wrong than he did fixing my nails. He then asked me if I had arthritis and if that was why I held my hands the way I did. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never been told I am difficult to manicure because of the way I hold my hands. I really hope he reads this and realizes that women get our nails done as a way of pampering and treating ourselves and his behavior completely ruined the experience and was extremely uncomfortable. read more

I i would click no stars if I could!!! I was forced to go here because my normal place wasnt open. I had my eyebrows waxed here , as i usually do at my normal place in Salem, and my eyes are bruised and still burn days later. The people are rude and dont know what they are doing. Or maybe they "do know what they are doing" and want to hurt people. I have never had issues like this before. Some tingling is normal but i had to call off work because my eye were so swollen. I read the other reviews and noticed that "THE GUY" likes to be rough with customers. I CAN TOTALLY AGREE!!! DON'T Come here!!! You will be disappointed!!!! read more
