I had been going to this salon for two years and my mom had been going for about a year. We both had our nails done by a few different people before we found the people we preferred. Once we found the techs whose work we liked, we scheduled appointments with them. Unfortunately, booking an appointment doesn't really mean anything. At my last completed appointment, both of our nail techs were so far behind that I had to leave my mom there to finish her service while I went to pick up my daughter from her after school program. For added context: our appointments were booked to start at 4 and I had to pick my daughter up by 6 and we both got fills with gel polish. We should have had plenty of time before I had to pick up my kid. I had booked an appointment with my preferred tech for this past Saturday. On Thursday, the salon texted me to let me know the tech wouldn't actually be working on Saturday and I was rescheduled to Monday. On Monday I decided to take my daughter with me for a manicure. Once again, my preferred nail tech had someone else in her chair at my appointment time. My daughter was taken to a station for her manicure and about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment start time I was informed that my nail tech had to leave early for a family emergency. I was offered another tech, which I declined. Then I was taken to the counter to see when my preferred tech had another opening. The soonest is this Saturday and I declined that as well, because Monday was already a stretch for my grow out. Don't misunderstand, I am not upset about the family emergency. I hope everything is ok for her and her family. However, if I had been sitting in her chair at my scheduled appointment time, I would have received the service I booked. My mom has also experienced long waits for her scheduled appointments. My issue isn't with the people who work there, everyone has always been kind. My issue is that we've been consistent customers and we book our appointments in advance with the staff we want doing our nails, only to be pushed back by walk-ins. Ultimately, my mom and I decided to seek nail care elsewhere. Annie, we wish you and the salon the best, especially with your growth. Pedicure & Manicure, I have been coming here for almost two years. I am a man that gets my hair cut, like a nice massage when my muscles get sore. My wife and I get our feet tended to about every two weeks. At first my wife would not go without me, so I went along, this has been going on now for 20 years. I am so glad I did this. Let me start by saying organizing group pedicures is a lot to ask. It's hard to schedule anywhere online, but my SIL called and was able to book 3 pedis and a mani. The chemical smell is super strong and hit immediately when we walked in. They really need to circulate the air so nobody passes out. It can't be good for your health to breathe that in all day. We checked in and were set up in our pedicure chairs. I wasn't familiar with the Oregon law requiring individual files & tools, but thankfully my sis again came to our rescue and picked some up for all of us. They have multiple service options on the menu beginning with the basic on up to deluxe and everything between. You can also order snacks and drinks from their bar. While I didn't get the max or even the paraffin wax treatment, the salt scrub leg massage and lotion was a nice pampering. I chose a bright color and am now proud to show off my piggies. In all, was very happy with our appointment; the massage chairs, and their accommodating our request. If you're looking to be disrespected, rushed, and leave in pain -- this is the place. I've unfortunately been to this location twice, and both times were absolutely awful. The second visit was the final straw. I was treated with complete disregard and left feeling deeply uncomfortable -- not just because of the horrible service, but because I genuinely felt targeted. The nail tech was extremely aggressive, she yanked my hands around, filed so roughly that my nails hurt during the appointment, and left dust everywhere -- which she then polished over (I have literal dust painted into my nails). During the massage, I could feel the grit of the dust all over my skin. I asked for a simple French manicure, and every single nail has bubbles in it. The nail polish is stained on my skin, never have I gone to a nail salon and felt like a toddler painted my nails. Some of the tips are so poorly done that they're actually sharp. It's not just sloppy -- it's disrespectful. She was rushing, rude, and dismissive from start to finish. This was my first time going in after hearing good reviews from others and seeing their instagram stories. I went in with a vision and was highly disappointed for multiple reasons. 1. The receptionists were extremely rude 2. I showed the tech the design I wanted and unfortunately she couldn't do it, I wish she would've told me before she started or attempted to do my nails. Loved this place for years, lately everything is rushed and cold. I had a gentleman fill my nails, the dremmel burnt my nail beds, I had lifting before I got home, went back 2x to fix the same nail. I now have 3 lifting and I'm just done. Bothe nails that are pictured were lifting so bad at full they should have been replaced instead the gentleman used a cuticle cutter to take off the lifted portion and left lines so strong my only option is to go somewhere to have them removed making this 4 visits to a nail salon in 1 week. I've never complained about pedicures that were rushed and missing steps, I've always tipped 20% or higher and I'm done making excuses for mediocre work. The facility is beautiful but workmanship is lacking some employees are wonderful and do take their time but many more look like they don't want to be there and it shows in the lack of pride in their work. read more

I would give this another half-star if I could; my pedicure was excellent. Sorry I'm too shy to show my toes in public. The signature service is worth every cent. I've paid more for less and been satisfied. Same with brow tinting: great color choice and shaping, and very reasonably priced. I absolutely enjoyed the ambiance -- a little noisy sometimes, but everyone chatting happily and working in a purposeful but unrushed way lifted my mood. The room is bright and airy, and everything seemed clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly, kind, and professional. The only reasons I had to drop a half-star were a few little things -- I booked multiple services and there was a delay between them; it was so busy at one point that I couldn't get staff assistance for a bit -- that sort of thing. Nothing bad. Besides, milling about for a few minutes gave me a chance to see how others were doing. There were a few groups, all of whom seemed very pleased with their results, and a few parents of young children, who were being treated with patience and respect. The employees seemed to be working apace, but cheerfully, not adding stress or haste to the room. I have visited exactly once, last August. Had to wait even though I had an appt. It also took FOREVER and they waited forever to let me pay. Station was dusty and sticky and overall not very clean or hygienic. I had a hot pink and orange accent dip requested and wound up with pink and teal, but I rolled with it. I decided to add on a pedicure as a treat and YIKES. It's been 8 months and I'm still dealing with toenail fungus from this place. I'm 42 and have been getting pedicures off and over for 25 years at places all over Salem, Portland, and Eugene, and have never once in my life had a fungus. It's DISGUSTING. Her getting on her phone happened TWICE during my short appointment, with one time throwing in her air pods. Also, at no point did the technician allow me to wash my hands after all the drilling and filing, leaving me with dusty hands. I've noticed the quality of the services go way down over the past year. Atmosphere too. It's become more of a rushed chop shop situation rather than a "spa" experience. Yesterday I got a gel manicure. The manicure part took less that 4 minutes. I was watching the time on my phone. She did not file my nails or buff them or anything, just did my cuticles. Then she put the gel on. The entire $58 experience took under 20 minutes. The lady who did my nails had huge pointy rings on every finger that kept stabbing me with them and they also got into the polish a few times. "Bitch Better Have My Money" was playing throughout the salon which I thought was an interesting choice considering I bring my 8 year old there semi frequently. Otherwise I would not have minded. They have a drink menu but no one asked if I wanted to order one. The nail tech was cordial but nothing more. It was clear they were just shuttling people through quickly. Overall I put it in the same level as your basic chain nail salon now, whereas formally it was more of a spa experience. I really wish I liked this place because it it SO cute inside! But I have been for 3 or 4 pedicures and I have been disappointed every time. This last time, the nail polish was so bad that I removed it when I got home. I know that pedicures aren't all about the polish, so I gave a closer look at my cuticles and nail beds this morning... also awful!! This photo is from after the polish was removed (mostly). I felt like she didn't spend a lot of time on removing dead skin and calluses and boy was I right. And my toe nails aren't even evenly cut/filed, which I feel is the very least you can expect from paying someone to do your toes. Stayed for almost an extra hour so she could get the polish right and ended up leaving because I had stuff to do! So disappointed. Unfortunately won't be going back. Update: I went back to get my pedicure redone- she filed my toenails and repainted, with very minor cuticle work. No soaking, so it wasn't very effective. It was nice of her to invite me back at all! The nail stations itself along with tools were very unsanitary and frankly looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. A lot of the nail techs were doing work that looked like they weren't even licensed. My nail tech in particular did not know what she was doing and left my nails facing upwards, chips and dents, uneven lengths and thicknesses, did not listen to what I even wanted and did whatever she wanted instead, left painful cuts, refused to listen when I kindly asked her to fix some things, and was also overall in a huge rush. And wouldn't you guess- it was because the second she was done with me she rushed to the back to take her lunch lol. So unprofessional and not worth my hard earned money. I've been here 3 times for a Dip manicure and everyone was really nice and the end result of the nails looked good, but, I don't think I'll get back. This last time I went in the nail tech just destroyed my natural nails. A few of them got so ground down that my nail bed felt hot! Plus, the last 2 times they used the e-file it shredded my cuticles and skin around my nails. Also, the way they have you remove the dip is so uncomfortable. You have to soak your nails in acetone, which in of itself is fine, but they make you put both your hands into one small bowl, and that bowl is stacked on top of another bowl and it wobbly, and the whole thing is awkward and physically uncomfortable with the way you have to sit with both nails in the bowl. If I was doing this part wrong, someone should have kindly showed me how to do it. Again, everyone there was really nice, but, I just HATE having my cuticles pushed back and removed, and the way my natural nail is destroyed now, I think I'll learn how to do dips at home. read more
