DISGUSTING, MALICIOUS, AND RACIST THE NAIL TECH INTENTIONALLY CUT MY FINGER SO IT WOULD BURN WHEN HE SOAKED MY NAILS OFF. I've never experienced anything so malicious from a business. I've WAITED over a year to write this because they kept removing their Google page! After reading other reviews, I realize there's a PATTERN OF DISRESPECT TOWARD BLACK WOMEN at this salon. I hadn't gotten pink & white in over 15 years. I showed them the reference photos above and asked if they had pink acrylic in the same color. They showed me several options, and I specifically asked if it was the closest match. They said yes, so I trusted their recommendation. As he worked, I noticed the color looked wrong. I politely asked another employee for a second opinion. She tried to GASLIGHT me, saying its my nail bed color. I'm usually very easygoing, but I kindly asked if they could fix the color because it wasn't what I requested. While filing my nails HE INTENTIONALLY CUT MY FINGER. You can see the DEEP CUT in the photo. He looked up at me with a SMIRK and said, "You have to stop moving." It HURT SOO BAD while soaking! I had enough and I wanted to leave. That's when HE GOT DIRECTLY IN MY FACE AND STARTED SCREAMING AT ME saying "You picked the color! It was soo unprofessional and disrespectful. Im so upset right now this man done yanked my hand so aggressively and he's a grown ass man and I'm a young girl. I was never in the wrong, the lady at the front told him what I wanted and I wanted an overlay with French tips. It was either number 6 or 7, I told him i didn't like the way he laid the acrylic down because it wasn't covering my cuticles and then he proceeded to rip off the acrylic on my thumb nail, that was after he yanked my hand up. And he tried to put tips on my hands after he knew I wanted an overlay. This is so sad how we get treated as people. I just don't understand it, just wanted my nails done. Imagine if this was done to your daughter. You'd feel the same way! He's lucky i didn't retaliate but I watch the news all the time, it doesn't end well. Smh read more

Terrible customer service and pricing is insane! Went in to get a a basic short full set for me and my 12 year old and a pedicure for me with eyebrow wax for us both and bill came to $259! Police had to be called because when I questioned the pricing the guy who did my 12 year old nails got upset and attempted to reach for my daughter and said he will just cut them off!!! The police got them to lower the price by $20 but I will never return again! read more

So I decided I needed to get back in the salon and just get them done. Being in front of a lot of people, my hands looking professional means a lot to me. I found Happy Nails because of a close friend of mine goes there and since they're close to home, I thought I would give them a try. They took real good take care of my nails and gave me what I wanted fixed them like I liked, I'm very well pleased. My spouse and I went for pedicures. The gentleman who worked on my spouse used a cheese grater, and was done with the pedicure in less than 10 minutes. My service continued for an additional 10 Minutes after my spouse was done. Time for the polish, it was lumpy and uneven. My spouse is not a picky person, he works in the service industry and understands, however, he stated, this was the worst service he has ever received. We will not go there or ever recommend this place to any one. My spouse also stated he felt rushed and the gentleman did not want to do it! read more

I love Julie & have been going to her shop for years. But some of her workers don't know what they're doing & they are too aggressive. I went in to have my thumb nail fixed & the guy at booth 2 with the glasses rushed through to fix my nail. Stabbed my thumb with those pliers they use to take off a nail. Then he gave me a over lay when I specifically told him the last guy who did them used a fake nail. I absolutely hate the work he did & Wont be back. I'll go to the place in garden city. read more

This was my first time here I'm every picky on who does my nails. I have been going to my other shop for years no matter where I stay but I'm about 20 minutes from my shop now and just want something closer. I've been seeing this place for a few years shopping at Kroger and family dollar I'm like 2 minutes away. So I finally decided to go in with my niece. When in town, I will come back to this place if I need my nails done. I got a fill with gel. She corrected my nail shape as well. Plus, I got a pedicure. It was $50 in total. I also noticed this place does lashes because MANY people were waiting on there other services. The only thing I would say is be ready to wait because this place is high in demand and a lot of people were there on a Wednesday afternoon. Only giving a star because I had to. Never go here. The powder that they use is cheap. Received poor customer service when had to return in a week with 2 broken nails from a fresh set done by these guys and needing a fill already then even worse customer service the day after that as the guy demanded that I pay for yet another broken nail and he hung up in my face. Been getting my nails done for 14 years. I know this is not supposed to happen. Your nail should not break within an hour of leaving the nail shop and you should not have three broken nails in 8 days.My nail broke in my car on my way to get ready to go to an event. My shellac polish also is faded from my pedicure not even two weeks ago. Don't waste your time or money. read more
