I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.

Premium Carpet had the most appealing in price but we also wanted to make sure it was done right. They came into our house at no charge for an in home quote and explained the process and cleaners they would be using. Unlike other carpet cleaning companies who told us their prices but seemed unsure of themselves when it came to pet stain and odors. They came in within the next few days and cleaned out the room along with the hallway and part of another spare bedroom that we also needed done. The cost was reasonable and it was done very well. A few days later (as expected) the smell was significantly less but there was a tad bit still there. I texted Cory and Kate and with no questions asked they came in the next day to do one final treatment at no cost and no hassle. It is now completely gone! We hired another carpet cleaning company in the past for the same rooms and paid significantly more and had not even close to the same results!
