I can't say enough good things about happy paws I used to bring my two schnauzers, Kobe and raider, and they always looked absolutely beautiful after their appointment. She truly understands how to do a proper Schnauzer cut, clear lines, perfectly shaped bras and beard, and that classic look that's not easy to get right she was always patient, gentle, and professional, and my dogs were comfortable with her. The convenience of Mobile grooming made everything stress-free, and the quality of her work was consistently excellent,. I highly recommend happy paws to anyone looking for an experience and caring groomer. I miss my boys. May they be happy in dog heaven .

Kari is awesome! I reached out via Yelp, she got back to me super quick. We have a female Rottweiler who HATES the car but she needed her nails trimmed. We usually go to the vet but it stresses her out way too much. Kari came the next day. She was in touch with us the whole day including sending us a text that she would be arriving in 10 mins. I thought that was awesome. She was prompt and fully equipped to take care of our giant chicken of a dog. She had her nails trimmed and even filed them with the Dremel so there were no sharp edges. Our giant chicken did great. Kari is simply "good people", you can tell she does what she loves and she's GREAT at it. Thank you Kari! See you in a few weeks.

We recently moved to Lancaster and realized it was no longer feasible to drive to our groomer so I decided, why not a mobile groomer. I was so glad I did. Kari is professional and the van smelled so good! She has a gentleness about her, which was good as this was the first time meeting my pup. She was done with my girl in 1 1/2 hours which was awesome. My Roxy looks soooooo good and smells even better!!! I will definitely continue using Happy Paws Mobile Grooming in the future. I won't say how much I paid because every dog is different, I'm sure , but I will say that the extra price was worth not driving and making her grooming an all day event.

We had the luck of finding Kari's business. We had a prior bad experience with a groomer so we were very nervous and picky on finding the next person to help get Oso nice and handsome. She was amazing. Asked us for what we were looking for and gave us suggestions on how our ideas would work out. Oso seemed to come out happy and even wanted to play with her after. Our little handsome guy will continue coming to Kari or vice versa since she is mobile LOL. read more

I have used Kari twice now and am so very glad I have. My dog is young and very active but she can handle him during the grooming process. He comes out looking so good. Coat is clean and shiny and soft and nails are trimmed just right. It is so worth having Kari come to your home to do the grooming, I know my dog would rather be done in familiar soundings and in a quiet atmosphere. Give her a try. read more

We recently moved to Lancaster and realized it was no longer feasible to drive to our groomer so I decided, why not a mobile groomer. I was so glad I did. Kari is professional and the van smelled so good! She has a gentleness about her, which was good as this was the first time meeting my pup. She was done with my girl in 1 1/2 hours which was awesome. Kari is great! Our poodle had major surgery recently and she was gentle and thorough with his grooming. Our other dog is a spoiled princess. Kari's service leaves them not just clean but sparkling. The dogs are also not scared of getting groomed by her, always a good sign. Kari is mobile and will come to your house, she communicates quickly if she will be early/late. Had made an appointment 4 weeks out for Grooming Service. The day came and passed. Even now 1 month after, no apology call or communication of any sort. I reached out to them and left 1 message as a second chance but yet no reply. I am now coming across comments on different site that apparently this is a norm for this service provider. Now that my children are grown, and I am no longer bound to spend my days chasing around small children, my attention has slightly shifted to my four legged family members... my pups accompany me just about everywhere and I dedicate a large part of my time to chasing them over large swaths of the Mojave desert.. We have used Kari's mobile grooming services a few times for our dog and I've been very pleased each time! My dog isn't a big fan of baths but she always manages to bring him back clean, soft and fluffy, with nails trimmed and everything. Having her come straight to your door is super convenient, and she's always on time! I am happy to spend a little extra to have the personal care and quality that Happy Paws provides. read more

I appreciate the reminder texts about the upcoming appointments and most importantly, our dog loves her! She on time! The surgery itself went well, and the cost was actually very reasonable considering the procedure. Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The wait times have been long at nearly every visit. I understand that emergencies happen, but what concerns me more is how clients are treated by the front office staff and office manager. They often come across as dismissive, lacking compassion, and sometimes even condescending. Instead of simply relaying information, they sometimes seem to offer medical explanations that should really come directly from the veterinarian. When I asked to speak with the veterinarian to clarify questions about my dog's care, I was repeatedly routed through several staff members before getting any answers. That process was frustrating and unnecessary. After my mom's dog's surgery, I expected a little more compassion and guidance. Instead, it felt like we were rushed out the door. We received only limited explanations about medications, dosing schedules, and post-operative care. The focus seemed to be on scheduling the next appointment rather than making sure we understood how to care for our pet at home. When we asked why another appointment was necessary, the only explanation given was, "The doctor said so." During one visit, while waiting for my pet, there were three employees at the front desk, yet no one acknowledged me for about 20 minutes. Even after finally checking in, I continued waiting without any updates. Because this has happened repeatedly over multiple visits--not just once--I don't believe these are isolated incidents. The veterinarians appear knowledgeable, and the pricing has been fair. However, the front office is often the first and last interaction clients have, and unfortunately, it leaves a negative impression. I genuinely hope management addresses the customer service experience because I would like to continue bringing my pets here. As it stands, though, I am considering taking my business elsewhere unless I see meaningful improvement.

This most recent time, we took our dog in because we couldn't get an appointment at our regular vet. They had the same day regular appointment. Our dogs face had swollen instantly. We weren't sure if it was a snake bite or a bug bite. Or something with salivary gland. First and foremost, the girl at the desk was quite rude. Not the type of person you would want on your front lines of customer service. They did all the proper steps except for not doing a blood smear test to test for venom. The doctor kept saying this is what she thought it was, but she was not doing the test to see if there was venom. She did do an aspiration test. Which had to get sent out so we waited for that. But unlike most vets who would treat that procedure as surgical and shave the area in which they are extracting from. They just chose to stick the needle in and extract. In the meantime, she recommended overnight hospitalization and doing the anti-venom treatment. The anti-venom treatment is not cheap, plus they wanted to charge us almost $1000 to hold her in a facility overnight, where there was no staff. The specific line item for staff was $500. And there was no one there overnight only one check in at midnight. This is robbery. There are really great options in the area, but this is not it. I've learned from one of the other vets in the area that the number one mission for a veterinarian is to be of service. That is not this place. We see so much price gouging from various businesses like this. There are much better options in terms of customer service, fairness of pricing and treatment recommendations, and professionalism. I went and got a second opinion and then saw my regular vet. It's also nice to work with places who will instantly send you the medical paperwork via email and stay in communication with you via text. You don't get that at pet check engine. I do not recommend.

11/10 stars! I think I finally found a mobile groomer that not only my dog is more than comfortable with, but myself. Kari allowed me to be present while she groomed my dog. Of course he was nervous at first, but she was so cautious and caring that he allowed himself to be bathed and trimmed. She carried a great conversation the whole time and explained her process thoroughly. Her station inside her van is very unique as well as clean and ventilated.
