Great people and they do a great job grooming our Havachon. Prices are very reasonable and you can actually see them grooming puppies.

Very professional. They take good care of your pet and do a great job grooming. We have used other places but this is our go to now.

Boarded my dog here twice. Never got the daily updates. Emailed for updates and never got a response. Called and Samantha said to look on the FB page for updates...my dog wasn't in any photos. Paid for daily day care while boarded but once I picked my dog up he was super hyper like he had been in a kennel for quiet a while. Will not be returning. To the owner, you should know Samantha doesn't seem to care about having new customers as she told us when we came the second time that we had never been there. She knows every dog in the last 5 years....very rude! read more

My dog/Brooklyn recently was boarded at Happy Tails. I called multiple times prior to her stay to find out pricing, extra playtime, what to bring for her & what to expect. Each time I called or even when discussed face2face when she was groomed I received the same information: $19/daily, $5/daily (xtra playtime). Never was I advised that there would be an additional fee for Friday/Saturday/Sunday for the Martin Luther King holiday OR that I would be charged per each day & not per each night. So instead of paying $144 for her stay it was $201. When I called the gal that answered stated that she was transferring me to the Front Desk Manager??? -who was only going to explain the charges better to me. The Front Desk Manager said that even though I had been given misinformation on multiple occasions --both on the telephone & when I was picking up Brooklyn...that I should have noticed & read the sign in the lobby, oh & that she would make a note on our fffor them to explain it accurately the next time that Brooklyn was boarded. Very disheartened with the response as this is at least the 4th or 5th time that the front office has made BIG mistakes on behalf of Brooklyn & never wants to be accountable. In addition, this same Front Desk Manager has actually made fun of me while I was dropping off my dog to be groomed one morning. Myself & other family members have been coming to Happy Tails for 20+ years. Probably time to move on. read more

Would happily recommend Happy Tails to anyone. I've been bringing my pets here for almost 20 years and they are happy to help with any of my small animal needs! They trim my bunnies nails and guinea pig nails in seconds. All my dogs have been happy getting their grooming done here too and have used their boarding on several occasions. I have taken my dogs to Happy Tails for years. But something has changed. The last 2 times, they have butchered my dogs. I just picked up my Bichon Frise and they had shaved her. I asked them not to cut her hair so short because she get a sunburn. I comb her almost every night, so there were not mats in her hair. Then they let her chew up her new body harness and tried to put it together with a piece of tape. Did they really think that would hold it together around her neck? I will not take my dogs there again. read more

I have used Happy Tails since 2000. My previous dog liked it fine there but my present dog loves it there. He scratches on the door to go in. It has always been clean, urine-free. His blanket comes home urine-free as well. He learned to fetch while attending day camp which tells me the animals get personal attention. I have never had any problems in the 18+ years I've taken my dogs there. And I drive from Ft. Worth to take him there. read more

I used to take my dog to Happy Tails Too the other location, but it unfortunately closed down. When I brought my dog to this location they didn't have the decency to bring over shot records for their customers. When I called to book they did not inform me they didn't have records. They informed me I could go next door to get my dog more shots for $95 obviously these two businesses are helping each other out. As this was my first time there the place smelled of urine and the staff was rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere and informing my social network to steer clear of this dump. PetSmart is heaven compared to Happy Tails. read more

DON'T APPLY FOR A JOB HERE. I waited two weeks after my "working interview" to hear back from them, didn't know if I got the job, wasn't told when the owner would be back in town, or when/if I would get a schedule. I had texted the owner just to ask about scheduling because he gave me the impression I had the job. He responded saying he would figure out scheduling when he was back in town. Not sure why you would take on new employees if you weren't in town anyways.. In my interview I was asked to be respectful of the owner's time, thus far I have, and they have not been respectful of my time in return. I am involved if FFA leadership and have a busy Summer schedule. At the end of my interview the owner gave me the impression that I had the job. He had asked me my schedule, and when I could come in for my "first day". Shortly after I was contacted about how my "working interview" went and because I was under the impression I got the job, I responded thinking they were referring to the first interview. Only later did I find out that my "first day" was the "working interview" which contradicted what was said in the first interview. I also didn't have my "working interview" until a week after I was contacted regarding how it went. I had a friend apply for the job as well, get an interview, and wasn't told until the day before that her interview was canceled. I loved the people at my working interview, as well as the work, but it was disorganized there as well. I was told to get a dog, named "Gamora", out of her kennel who I later found out bites. Not a dog I expected to be handling so soon; I was told in my interview that I wouldn't be handling those dogs first day. Ended up not having an issue with her but considering I wasn't made aware of the dog's temperament, it could have ended very differently. Based on my interactions with the business I have seen nothing but disorganization. I understand people make mistakes, but this is far too many to be overlooked. The least they could have done is told me when I would get a schedule, or if I even got the job. I haven't heard anything regarding payment for the day I worked either. Happy Tails Complete Pet Care was originally my first job choice, but after being treated so poorly I cannot recommend supporting their business in anyway. Very disappointed. read more

Awful. I wrote a review on their FB page but who knows if they allowed it to be posted. We took our dog to another Happy Tails on Johnson but they closed. So we tried this location. My husband showed up a few minutes before they opened because our dog had an early morning appointment. The staff just stood their staring at him as he was at the door. Dogs were barking as dogs do and someone yelled at the dogs to shut up. I'm not gonna say I never tell my dogs to shut up but I am not running a business and trying to be a professional. Our dog was not trimmed as we requested. I often wonder how these places actually treat our pets when we aren't around. Never again will we take her to this place. To top it off it reeked of urine. We will be trying a mobile groomer in the future. read more

I have 3 dogs that I took to Happy Tails for boarding for 4 days. It was the first time they had ever been boarded anywhere, anytime . A couple of days after I had picked them up, all three were coughing and hacking and I had no idea of what I was dealing with. I found out that it was Kennel Cough. I had to call Happy Tails 4 times... I was first placed on hold, and then the call ended. I called back and someone picked up, then hung up. I called back and the same thing happened. I called again and a lady spoke with me but assumed zero responsibility. ( I didn't get her name) She tried to make it seem as though the dogs contracted the Kennel Cough at my home because it is a airborne disease and is highly contagious. I have zero plans to ever use them again read more

We've been taking our Newfoundland and husky fur babies to Happy Tails for the last 5 years for grooming and boarding. We had tried different boarding facilities and were unimpressed with the way the dogs were treated in front of us and the dogs' overall reaction upon arrival and at pickup. There is a huge difference with Happy Tails where staff greet our dogs and seem genuinely happy to see them. Our dogs don't hesitate to go in to the facility as with the others and maintain their weight even with a 2 week stay. They seem happy and healthy upon pick up. Facility always seems clean and I have never smelled urine once. We take our dogs there to be boarded about every three months and is the only kennel we would use. We even drive from Cleburne which takes us about 45 minutes but is well worth the drive for the happiness of our do read more

Love Happy Tails Too! Always use them for boarding! My dogs (3 of them) always seem healthy and happy when picked up and do not express any stress symptoms when dropping off or picking up! I also them for grooming and have always been more than satisfied. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend. BTW i've been using them for going on 7 years now! read more
