We could not be more happy with the care of Colleen and her broader team. Our fur baby used to go to boarding when we would travel. We could tell he was overwhelmed and very stressed once we would pick him up. For the following 2-3 days he would sleep all the time to recover. Let me just say that from the moment Colleen and I started communicating (emails), I can tell she had a positive spirit and truly loved her job. I was changing my plans within a period of 3 days and Colleen was so flexible. She was unable to take him overnight but she had her partner Anne take care of him. I'm not a fan of typical pet sitters who just come to your home a couple times a day and take your dog for a walk. I think it's very isolating for the dog and particularly problematic if you are gone for several days. I was absolutely thrilled when I had the good fortune of meeting one of Colleen's dog walkers at a dog park and learned of their services. I later met Colleen and explained that I wanted a dog sitter who would allow my dog to be a member of her home while I was away; to treat my dog like she would her own dog--giving her love, affection, snuggles, and play time; to give her quality time with other dogs as well as people. And Colleen was willing to do ALL of that! Now, when I have to go out of town, I have absolutely no worries about my dog. She stays with Colleen, and Colleen treats her like one of her own.
