They taught us how to train our dog to sit , stay, wait ,place as well as learning how to go to his designated space for down and settle. I felt the instructors were excellent. I can't remember all their names, but Fab was excellent. when Rudy graduated from his class, he got a certificate and had a graduation picture taken. Right now I feel that I need to work on these basics before I enroll him in intermediate class, but when he's ready, I will definitely go back.

After only a few sessions, his barking habits were significantly reduced. Even with how stubborn and difficult he was in the beginning, they never gave up on him. They gave me the confidence I needed to handle him in social settings and never once made me feel discouraged. Thanks to their guidance, patience, and consistency, he even earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen, something I never imagined would be possible when I first brought him home. Fast forward to today: he lives for Playcare. He adores his best buds and his favorite aunties, and the joy he has walking through their doors says everything. Arfordable goes above and beyond with their attention to detail between themed days, dog birthday parties, Secret Santa, and group outings. All the little touches that make this place feel like a second home. When we're out of town, I never worry. I know he's safe, loved, and cared for as if he were one of their own. Since it was…read morediscounted, I wasn't able to go through with them on the app. I mentioned that I had special instructions for my dogs, and they were okay with that. Almost everyday they sent me a mini 5-second clip of my dogs outside, which I appreciated. However, I am giving them 1 star due to their unprofessional communication and possible lack of care of my dogs. Communication with this facility was consistent, and they always responded promptly. However, oftentimes their communication sounded rude/condescending and were not professional and clear (see pictures for reference). For instance, they sent me an instructional text explaining where to park upon arrival. When I got there and couldn't find the "driveway" they were referring to and texted them for clarification, they responded with "instructions explain how." They also asked me how I was paying and when I told them with "card," they said they cannot do card at the moment (this should have been previously communicated, not when I am on the way to their place). When asked to extend the dogs stay, they gave me an incorrect rate amount and blamed it on how early it was in the day. In addition, I had mentioned to them that I am providing them extra food for my dogs just in case when I handed my dogs over to them. Upon the end of their care for my dogs, they mentioned that there was extra dog food and that they threw it away as this was their protocol. While they offered to reimburse me for the wasted food, they should have communicated this ahead of time so that I would have known not to provide any extra food. Additionally, due to privacy concerns, they would not let me see the environment of their house or where they would keep my dogs. This was odd as every dog sitter on Rover I had been to welcomed me into their home and allowed me to see that my dogs would be kept in a clean environment. It appears that my dogs were not given enough water and were possibly fed incorrect food or were not being supervised when eating. As soon as I brought my dogs home from their care, they ran straight to the water bowls and kept drinking water after refilling them twice. Then, one of my dogs rushed to go outside and had terrible diarrhea. For the next few days, she had uncontrollable, non stop diarrhea (inside and outside the house). I understand that dogs can have stomach issues due to boarding anxiety. However, my dogs have been boarded so many times at various facilities and have never had any issues. I do not recommend this facility. They cannot guarantee dog safety, provide reassurance of a clean dog environment to the owner, and communicate professionally. Update: I had previously given them 2 stars, but because of their lack of professionalism with their response, I am reducing it to 1 star: - I had communicated about my dog's diarrhea the following morning because I wanted to wait and see if it was just anxiety related (one off situation) and wanted to give it 24 hours before reaching out. - Also, their instructions state to pull into a driveway and there is no mention of what type of payment they accept. - I had mentioned that I was providing a lot of extra food just in case when I handed over the dogs.

I got to chatting with Shai about my dog's horrid shedding and bad experiences we have had with past groomers. She suggested I get an appointment with her so she could take care of it for us. I gave it a try. Gruene Gables is so clean and the staff is friendly. Shai came out to see what I wanted done with Max and took him back. It was nice for Max to see a familiar face, so that eased some of his anxiety about "dog places". A few hours later, Max came out looking like a new boy! I swear he was so clean he sparkled a little. Shai went above and beyond my husband and I's expectations! He has never looked, felt or smelled so good before (and none of that nasty perfume spray)! He even had a confident strut to his walk. I can tell he feels better and wasn't under much stress due to Shai and Liz being there, which made me happy. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be back!! These gals are the best!

During that call they will try to sell you a "play package", as an upgrade. They do not tell you on the phone, or on their website, nor do they mention it in their reservation email, that there is a mandatory Bronze "play" package added on for an additional $15. I declined any such services, because my dog was going to be there for less than 24 hours. Nevertheless, they charged me $30 extra. Furthermore, the "playtime" notes claimed that they played fetch with her. My dog does not play fetch. She is very possessive about the ball, so if you manage to get possession of it and throw it, she will gladly chase it to get it back, but she will not voluntarily give it back. I strongly doubt they played with her at all.

It looks a little rough around the edges and kinda crappy. Although this place is no frills looking, the staff was super friendly, and helped answer any questions I had and they were very accomodating when the day before my reservation I needed to actually drop my pup off ahead of time! The inside is clean, smells nice and they were organized when I dropped her off and picked her up. They were expecting us and and had her all ready to go! If your dog stays a full day on the last day, they will subtract the cost of the last day of boarding if you have your dog bathed. Awesome, $5 bath and they put a cute bandana on them! My dog was tired but happy after coming here, we'll will deff be using them again. **Also important to note is that they do check to make sure your dog is current on shots, which gives me a warm fuzzie about my dog's health and safety. The cancellation email also stated that these vaccination records would be due before or AT APPOINTMENT arrival. Spoke to receptionist who seemed like she could care less, then was handed over to the "manager" who was very argumentative & stated that they have 40+ reservations today & that the shot records needed to be turned in 24 hrs in advance. Where was this on the email?? Sounds more like the so called "manager" over booked the place and is now just cancelling reservations? I read off both of my emails to her that clearly stated I could bring them for proof upon arrival and she still argued saying that another one was sent yesterday but i have absolutely no record of that. I also requested to speak to the owner or a number that I could call and she declined giving me any further help even though this was THEIR mistake. Horrible horrible horrible.

My pets…read morehealth has always been the responsibility of my parent, but I have recently been living independently and decided to take initiative to ensure I get regular check ups for my cat. I was nervous and unsure of what to expect but the staff were all extremely welcoming and nice, and informed me of everything they were doing and confirmed with me before doing any tests. My only dissatisfaction is upon informing me my cat has gingivitis, the only solution they offered was a $1400 surgical procedure. I was not informed of any alternative treatments, or any measures I can take that could help my cat other than an major surgery. Other than that, they were all amazing and kind. Would recommend and will be going back!! :)
