I got to chatting with Shai about my dog's horrid shedding and bad experiences we have had with past groomers. She suggested I get an appointment with her so she could take care of it for us. I gave it a try. Gruene Gables is so clean and the staff is friendly. Shai came out to see what I wanted done with Max and took him back. It was nice for Max to see a familiar face, so that eased some of his anxiety about "dog places". A few hours later, Max came out looking like a new boy! I swear he was so clean he sparkled a little. Shai went above and beyond my husband and I's expectations! He has never looked, felt or smelled so good before (and none of that nasty perfume spray)! He even had a confident strut to his walk. I can tell he feels better and wasn't under much stress due to Shai and Liz being there, which made me happy. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be back!! These gals are the best!

During that call they will try to sell you a "play package", as an upgrade. They do not tell you on the phone, or on their website, nor do they mention it in their reservation email, that there is a mandatory Bronze "play" package added on for an additional $15. I declined any such services, because my dog was going to be there for less than 24 hours. Nevertheless, they charged me $30 extra. Furthermore, the "playtime" notes claimed that they played fetch with her. My dog does not play fetch. She is very possessive about the ball, so if you manage to get possession of it and throw it, she will gladly chase it to get it back, but she will not voluntarily give it back. I strongly doubt they played with her at all.

Walks are now enjoyable instead of stressful, and I finally feel in control and at ease. From the very beginning, the owners provided truly top-notch customer service. You can immediately tell how much they care for animals. The facilities are very clean, thoughtfully maintained, and the décor is absolutely adorable and welcoming. Their pet fees are very reasonable, especially considering the level of care they provide. The service is genuinely outstanding, and most importantly, my pets clearly had a great time and were well cared for. They care for dogs, cats, and even birds. I also saw ducks on the property, which added to the charming farm atmosphere (but I believe they're theirs). As a bonus, they accept Apple Pay and parking is easy and convenient at their farm location. Today, I check my emails to see a cancellation email sent from Buddy's. I will be leaving for my trip in a few hours and now am left with no sitter for my pets. The cancellation email also stated that these vaccination records would be due before or AT APPOINTMENT arrival. Spoke to receptionist who seemed like she could care less, then was handed over to the "manager" who was very argumentative & stated that they have 40+ reservations today & that the shot records needed to be turned in 24 hrs in advance. Where was this on the email?? Sounds more like the so called "manager" over booked the place and is now just cancelling reservations? I read off both of my emails to her that clearly stated I could bring them for proof upon arrival and she still argued saying that another one was sent yesterday but i have absolutely no record of that. I also requested to speak to the owner or a number that I could call and she declined giving me any further help even though this was THEIR mistake. Horrible horrible horrible.
