Nice place in a nice little shopping center. The food is just so-so. I've been a few times now and it just again lacks that punch of flavor. Crispy does not really mean Crispy here. It's more like it was fried at one time and then they poured sauce over it and let it sit so it's a little spongy. Small simple selection. Nothing fancy. Just the Asian basics. Flavor was OK, service here is one of the three that I have found that is really good. You basically walk in and determine whether you want to order at the counter or go sit down and there's no real instructions, like many places in this area. It is a common theme here and I don't get it. They just aren't able to figure out the seating situation. Many restaurants have an option for dining in or order over the counter. But it's not clear and they don't seem to know how to fix it. Some simple signs and attentive employees would really go along way. I might come back your bike no commitment yet. read more

Try their spicy chicken! I have been to the one in Meridian many times and it was really nice coming to Eagle and having a healthy option for lunch. Same great service and food you have come to expect at Happy Teriyaki. They are quick and friendly and not to mention their food is excellent. They have daily bowls on sale under $7. For low carb options, omit the rice and get all vegetables. The veggies are full of flavor. You won't regret trying this place. Only negative is the parking lot spots are narrow and it would deter me from going there during busy times. read more

We would give these guys 6 stars if I could but alas, 5 is the most we can do. First of all, the pictures on Yelp don't really do this place justice. My son and I expected a quick fast food type restaurant but the inside was very nice, clean and comfortable. Every single person we interacted with was personable, polite and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience. Now...on to the food! My son and I shared some pork fried rice and spicy teriyaki chicken entrees and some gyozas for an appetizer. The food came out so quick and was presented very nicely. All of the food was fresh, super flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. My son said multiple times after we left, "that was the best Chinese food I have ever had!". Go check these guys out for sure! read more

Portions were very generous and the chicken was much better quality than what you get in the Golden Woks, Golden Palaces, etc. Obviously this isn't fine dining but for a quick option under $10 it's hard to beat. I was really pleasantly surprised with this place. Teriyaki sauce can easily be botched by being too salty or too sweet. This place has it perfect. After eating here 3 times I thought my review would be fair. I really want to love this place since they are fast and convenient especially on nights I don't have time to cook. My issues are in hopes some changes will be made. The orange chicken - overcooked and dry chicken The noodles - bland and too thick (my kids wouldn't eat them!) The gyozas are way too Krispy The breaded chicken was dry too! Lastly the lady at the counter is nice but customer service needs improvement because right as I was ordering at the counter she picks up a phone call and begins to take down another order. We noticed the same thing today as was mentioned in a review a month ago. No PPE was used by the front or the cook. We ate inside as the restaurant was empty, however it was a mistake as when checking on us and delivering our food, there was no social distancing. The food is good all right but when paying with a card, one is forced to add a tip before one can pay. You must choose between ten percent and some really big percentages. This is incredible! This is a "poke out" type place, not a restaurant where service is involved. They also have a large, blatant tip jar which is OK I guess, but to require a tip to use a card is ludicrous and I will not put up with it. I will not be going back, at least until they fix this outrageous problem. read more

We have eatten at Happy Teriyaki in Eagle for two years and have loved it. We placed an order to go last Friday and the food was awful. I called and ask if they changed cooks or recipes recently, she said everything is the same. I let her know our food was not like in the past. She said she would tell the cooks, that was it.
