    Live music on Thursday.
    Stacey G.

Good first experience at Rice on Thursday, which turned out to be live music night--and happy hour too. My mom loved her mango paradise mocktail (drank two). HH priced potstickers were good. K-beef tacos were a good bargain--I can't say more because my mom repo'd my tacos for herself. We packed up my mom's general chicken, to my husband's credit and he gave it a thumbs up. Bread pudding was just ok--but it was an odd choice at an Asian Fusion restaurant. Will be back to try lunch specials.

Good menu options for sushi and Thai food. Opted for the Combination A sushi entree which had a good selection of sashimi and nigiri sushi. It wasn't Nobu quality, but it also wasn't Nobu price. $30 for the little boat was a very good value and the sushi was enjoyable. $9 for a 20 oz Sapporo bottle also seems fair these days. Service was prompt and friendly. I'll be going back during this visit to try the curry lunch options.

Had an amazing family dinner here. The food was spectacular. I had the Panang Curry which was outstanding! The service was great and we shared an order of the Mango Sticky Rice and bread pudding for dessert. My parents dine here fairly often for the Kung Pao I tried it and it was fantasti. Definitely hope they brinag us here again next visit.

I've never dined inside here, I just got takeout but the food is pretty great based on my takeout experience! I got a lunch portion of the general's chicken with brown rice and a very delicious tempura shrimp roll that had cucumber, cream cheese, avocado, jalapeño, Sriracha and honey lemon sauces with adorable little slices of lemon.. yummy! I highly recommend getting that roll if you like shrimp and sweet, spicy and citrus-y flavors. I feel lucky to have this place located in the same plaza my workplace is located and I will definitely stop here when I'm in the mood for Asian cuisine from now on.

The sashimi here is incredibly fresh and generously portioned. Beautifully presented with so much care and artistry -- truly worth it.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants and a place I visit regularly The food is consistently delicious, and the service is excellent -- warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. What really stands out is how well the staff remember their customers, which makes every visit feel special. Whenever I bring friends or acquaintances here, everyone ends up loving it, and I always feel proud to introduce them to this place. Thank you for maintaining such high standards in both food and service, and for delivering the same quality and care every single time

I said I was going to come back and try other items on their menu so lunch brought me to Rice again. What I do really appreciate about Rice is that their lunch menu extends till 4. Some places you have to get there by 2 but having the option till 4 is nice! I did come a little later today so it was slower. It was nice to eat in a slower environment. My server was the same server as the last time I dined here. She didn't really have a personality. Really blunt and to the point. It makes you feel like just another customer. No warmth or excitement to her approach. She did do her job by checking up on us and filling waters but that's about it. It's just another table type of attitude. For lunch I ordered the yellow curry with tofu. It came out on a beautiful plate. The presentation could have been handled a little better. There a yellow curry all over the plate. It looked really sloppy. For a lunch portion, there was a good amount of tofu, baby potatoes and carrots. They also give you a nice portion of rice with the curry. The curry had a nice amount of heat to it. It was creamy with the coconut milk and savory with the yellow curry. The first few bites were great but after that I did notice the curry was on the sweeter side. My favorite bite was the rice that soaked up the sauce with a chunk of tofu. It was a decent lunch but overall, it was on ok experience this time. Side note- the sugar container had dried sauce all in the side of it. With such a pretty establishment you'd think the things they bring to their customers would be a little cleaner.

Probably a good place to get takeout! We dined in, definitely felt rushed to order and finish, our appetizers came out before our drinks! But the food came fast and was pretty good. We had the General Chicken and Korean beef bulgogi. The fresh rolls were great and the potstickers were crisp. The cocktails left A LOT to be desired. It seemed like the bartender was reading the drink description then figuring out how to make them. The inside is nice, clean and colorful ambiance. Plenty of free parking. Reasonably priced!

Went out to lunch with some friends, none of us "loved" our food, but it wasn't awful. Server seemed a little snappy, but service was quick.

My sister and I showed up first. We got sat at a round table and chilled until the rest of our party showed up. After everyone got there, we all checked out the menu. There wasn't a real organized system between the employees that served our table. It was a reservation for 5 but only 2 menus and 2 waters were initially dropped off. After everyone got there, 2 more waters were brought out but not the 5th glass that was missing. Then we got an over abundance of menus when we just needed a couple more. It was a rough start. We finally got to order appetizers and dinner. I got the Asparagus Delight with extra chicken. My sister ordered Pad See Ew. My cousin got the Khao Soi with rice noodles. The two other prom moms got General's chicken and a sushi roll. For starters we got the fried green beans and calamari. The wait on the appetizers seemed long. Nothing is more annoying than not being able to enjoy your starter cause your dinner was right behind it. 2 fried green beans were brought out. We had to call the server and ask about the calamari. We were confused if that was 1 appetizer of fried green beans split into 2 plates for easier sharing or if it was actually 2 orders. Well, it was 2 orders so the extra portion was taken back. The calamari did come out shortly but was fast considering we waited so long initially for the appetizers come out. I didn't try the appetizers but from what was being said the fried green beans were good and they have had better calamari. As fast as that calamari came out, I'm sure it was prepared quickly. Not taking the normal time to actually prepare something that could turn into rubber if it's not cooked properly. Dinner came out shortly. My dish looked really good. There was bright green pieces of asparagus. A few hearty chunks of cauliflower. I noticed quite a few shrimp and a decent amount of chicken. My dish was good. The veggies were fresh and crispy. The sauce was on the sweeter side but still tasted good. The shrimp was tender but did have a fishy scent to them. The chicken could have been velveted. It was white meat and we all know white meat can lean towards the drier side. I think velveting could have fixed that. I did ask for extra chicken and in all honesty I don't think I really got the extra I had ordered. Service was decent. The timing of the appetizers and food could be worked on. Some communication between employees would have been nice for more organization. I came here for lunch and wasn't impressed with portion sizes and I will have to say I wasn't impressed with the dinner portion either. It's cool that I got to come back and vibe with my family tonight. It was busy so it's great to see that people are out supporting their local Asian restaurant. I unfortunately have such a high bar set from my family and growing up in this industry. I really wish this place would have met my expectations the second time around.

We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted promptly and asked if we had a reservation, I told them yes and we had requested an outdoor table along the river walk. We were promptly taken out to the table where we all sat and discussed how nice the evening was. Our server created us all and got the evening going with our drink order. Everything was going well. When our server arrived with the drinks and got them out to us all and asked if we wanted to order appetizers. My brother and I both stated yes. He ordered the Calamari and I added 2 Spyder Rolls. The appetizers came out just a bit later and we passed them around the table for all to share. My sister in law was hesitant to try the Spyder Roll because of the fish roe on top but we manager to get her to taste it and she she pleasantly surprised how much she enjoyed the flavor of everything. While enjoying our appetizers our server took our order to get the next part of the meal ready. About 15 minutes later dinner arrived and everything came out looking good. Everyone had gotten exactly what we had ordered. We all enjoyed our meals have good and fun conversations along the way. As we were coming to the end of our meal our server asked about dessert. We had mentioned to her it was mom's birthday so she was getting her free chocolate cake and ice cream, always a nice thing for the birthday girl. So my brother and his wife order something as well. My partner and I decided we didn't need anything. So we all enjoyed the evening just relaxing and enjoying ourselves and a good meal. This location is our favorite because of the water views and just pure entertainment of people watching as well. We all look forward to our next meal there.

The vibe from the waitress told us she didn't want to be there. We were barely greeted and shown a table to sit down at. We barely had seen the menu when she came by and asked us about drinks and appetizers. We asked for two glasses of ice tea and said we needed more time to look at the menu. When she came back to take our order, we still hadn't received our ice teas. She even brought us our cups of soup before the teas. Since we weren't provided water when we sat down, we waited 15 minutes to get the teas. My wife ordered a sweet and sour chicken dish and I ordered Kung pan chicken. When they arrived, they looked almost identical: deep-fried chicken in a sweet sauce. Only Kristy's dish had some slices of bell pepper, while mine had a piece of raw broccoli and some dried chiles. Tasting mine, it was definitely sweet and sour. When the waitress came around I asked if that dish was really Kung pao chicken and she assured me it was. I said the sauce was sweet and the chicken was deep-fried and was unlike any Kung pan chicken I'd ever had. She told me she would trade it out, although I was unsure what she was going to replace it with, since she had insisted that what I had received truly was Kung pao chicken. She returned a few minutes later and said the chef had made a mistake and was making the correct dish for me. It came out and was fine. But what bothered me is the server just assumed she had brought me the proper dish to begin with. If she had simply looked at it and agreed it looked nearly identical to Kristy's sweet and sour dish, she would have easily concluded a mistake had been made. Which I would have understood. Instead, she didn't believe my explanation of why it was the wrong dish. If I was the chef in the kitchen, I would have brought the corrected dish out to the customer myself and apologized personally. He took the easy way out by putting it on his waitress. This is a restaurant we love and have spoken to the owner before. We will go there again, but this was a very disappointing experience.
