Service was good. The poke' appeared fresh but was not necessarily as fresh tasting and the veggie selection was really good. The sauce was a little strange and it seemed like a hodgepodge of various cultural sauces. The noodles were the best dish I tried and it was stir fried well with lots of veggies. Huge portion and it can feed 2 or more. The veggie ramen was ok and it tasted out of a box. I think someone wrote the food tasted like it was out of a mall. I would agree. Quality was pretty sub par, and presentation was really nice and the ambiance cozy. I think that this restaurant has potential. If some of the ingredients were upgraded it would easily make a difference. I live in Seattle and there is lots of poke' and chains like Sam Choy. Unfortunately this restaurant gets overlooked in the strip center it is in. Signage is very lame and lackluster and it lends itself only to sushi. The inside is nice, but there is no real vibe to the place. The employees seem young and dumb, with no hope of elevating anyone's experience here. The menu is vague, my friend ordered a "burrito" and it was wrapped in seaweed. I get how that relates to the type of food, but maybe should be notated somewhere. The in-store menu on the wall does not align with printed menu. This is not a difficult thing to fix, but they haven't aligned. Huge pet peeve...the napkins! The cheapest, non absorbing napkins one could order. The soup container is so hard to open, you feel like you will splatter it everywhere. No joke. They offer water, but with no ice, and the cups are stained. I think the food and prices are decent, but so many other things are so cheaply noted, I don't see this being a go to place for many. We ordered online and paid. I took a photo of our order number and showed it to the cashier when I arrived. They had no record of our order, as it just never came through. I was charged as I was able to pull my bank account open and see the charge. I showed this to the staff the only thing I could do was order again and dispute the frist charge with my bank. I am now on the phone with the bank waiting 30 minutes so far to get the charge reversed. We like the food clearly it's yummy, but do not recommend ordering online. The staff has no way to look up your order if it just doesn't go through to them and you still get charged. Just a warning. read more

Ok, this is a bit like fast food sushi, being a little hole in the wall place that does sushi burritos, but I have to say they're pretty darn good...and very quick, so it's an easy pick up for lunch or dinner, and in that respect, I highly recommend them. On the other hand, I don't know much, if anything, about their sourcing or quality of ingredients. Their website is only for ordering. There is no information about the business itself, the food they serve, their history, or really anything about them at all, which is disappointing. Since I've never been here before, the young lady behind the counter, Seagull, suggested I try the poke bowl. I asked her to make it the way that she would if it was for her. She asked if I had any allergies or if there was anything specific that I don't like. She started with a layer of white rice, then chunks of tuna and salmon. Next, mango, jalapeño, edamame, cucumber, ginger and onion. Topped with ground seaweed and sesame seeds. Finished off with spicy mayo sauce and one more sauce. Came in to try it out before going to the movies. It was 103° outside and about 95° inside the restaurant dining room. A/C was barely on and it made it uncomfortable to eat in the dining room bc it was so hot. They also had no ice in the entire restaurant for the water. We ordered a miso soup, chicken teriyaki plate and a California (fried) burrito. The miso soup was pretty tasty. My first scoop of rice from the teriyaki chicken plate had a hair in it! Same price you would typically pay at a sushi restaurant. It only took a couple of minutes to receive our lunch, and it is rolled up in such a way that you could take and eat it on the run.
