When pet owners go to energy healers, we usually have exhausted all other means, and are desperate…read more This makes us easy victims. My young cat was not eating much and has lost quite some weight. His doctor, while waiting for the test results, guessed it was feline fip, a deadly disease without known cure. In a state of panic, I found Bonnie Illos on the internet, and booked the consultation appointment. I thought the consultation was to find out what she feels the problem may be, and if she was able to do something, but I was wrong. Without knowing anything about my cat, she went in to a long speech of how diet can affect the health of my cat, and some very general information about how to properly take care of my cat. As time ticks on, I finally had to stop her and told her that I actually have a lot of experience with cats, and that my cats are on the best diet possible. Obviously, she is experienced in such situation, she then changed to a question and answer format, and continued for the rest of the "consultation ". Before the session was over, I was so desperate to see if her healing would benefit my cat, I engaged her for a healing session. As the healing session began, she told me that she felt my cat has serious problems with his liver and kidney, and it is not unusual for a cat to go into a deep sleep during and after the session. Well, my cat has been sleeping before I spoke with this woman, and all cats would hide and sleep when they are not well. The healing session, did nothing for my cat. I received two emails from her afterwards, to fish for more healing appointments. When I told her that my cat has not responded to her healing treatment, and that he was still not eating, she actually told me that the body knows when it can not process the healing energy, that I should just let him go. At no time did her intuitions let her know that my cat was dying of a virus without cure. I was an easy prey because I was desperate and hoping for a miracle, and this woman took advantage of the situation. If your beloved pet is not well, save your money and go to a good vet. If anyone else had similar experience with Bonnie Illies, please share your stories and help keep other pet owners from being victimized by her.

She then contacted previous clients (who had referred me, acquaintances of mine) to tell them "She thought she could help my pet, but did not think that I would be compliant with the diet". She discussed the wrong pets chart with me, and she was rude and accusatory that I was "distracted" during the initial consult and I was wrong about my own pets symptoms; come to find out she did indeed have the wrong information in front of her. She gave my pet the same diagnosis (Liver) as many other reviews have stated. Put her on a diet that basically starved her as she continued to decline. No evidence of any improvement in my pet, and Bonnie was invasive and harassing at times with her incessant phone calls and emails. Never discussed payment, did not have any type of contract, verbal or other. She then sent an invoice that was not itemized, for an extravagant amount, much higher than I had blindly predicted. Terrible experience from start to finish. Actually, I am still dealing with her, considering blocking her number and email. Horrific. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

What a relief to receive an accurate diagnosis for our dog, Abbey, from the Bluffs. Doggie Abbey…read morehad been very sick with some fainting and unwillingness to eat. Our clinic, The Bluffs, examined her and, per imaging, determined she had a significant heart murmur and deficient pulmonary blood circulation. Treatment Dr. Lahner suggested (and it is so far successful) was giving drops of a liquid suspension with pulverized medication to increase her circulatory action and blood flow. We are so grateful. So is Abbey! Gratefully, Sue and Mendal Mearkle (Red Wing, MN).

Now that I have cancelled (8 months of service in) they call me late into the evening and harass me and then when I try to explain to them why I cancelled and the care plan didn't cover what I originally got it for, they are aggressive and hang up the phone on me. I talked to local care places and they all said that the bluffs is terrible. I told them (the bluffs) that I would not be going to them for care anymore and he told me "well then I'll call all the local clinics and tell them not to help you so you can't get care for your cats". What kind of shady business does that for animal care. Also they overcharge for "holistic treatments" that did not help my sick cat at all. Other clinic gave actual medicine that cleared him up in 48 hrs.

Dr. Stacy is BANANAS, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, WONDERFUL and any other positive adjective you could…read morethink of. An animal chiropractor sounds a little odd. My dog Lexi (who absolutely adores Dr. Stacy) would agree. Before we saw Dr. Stacy my Lexi was limping, whining in pain and had trouble squatting to do her business. She tore a ligament in her leg and needed surgery which was going to be anywhere from $3200-$5000 depending on where we went, and there were not a lot of options. The recovery for the dog after surgery is also really intense and long. Our neighbor's dog had the same problem and surgery and it didn't even work. The dog limped for the rest of it's life. A family friend suggested Stacy to us and I am beyond happy she did. Lexi has been seeing her since Oct or November and she is no longer walking with any semblance of a limp, squats perfectly and hasn't squealed in pain in months. She would be running and fetching again already if she hadn't sprained a ligament in her other knee thus causing a set back in her recovery. We are down to seeing her every other week instead of every week. Check out her webpage to see other testimonials to her amazingess. Just FYI, legally you do need to get a vet's recommendation to see her. If for some reason your vet won't give you one she can give you names of ones that will. She will also need x-rays of the injury. Call her and she will explain all this to you. She is also SUPER flexible when it comes to appointment times. She genuinely wants to help your pet and will do what she can to make that happen. As a bonus you can also use her as your own chiropractor. While her office in Canine Connection is just for animals she also practices on humans. Personally I just love Dr. Stacy. The minute you meet her you can tell she purely loves animals and loves what she does. I never have to worry about asking her too many questions because she is more than happy to answer them all. Even if you think she won't know the answer because it has nothing to do with chiropractics, she can usually point you in the right direction. She also is very knowledgeable when it comes to diet, exercise, and behavior issues that may affect your pet's health. She is on the Katie Canine show every month too. Simply put if your animal is having any issues related to joints and bones or pain take them here. You will not regret it. Me, my dog and my checking account certainly don't.

Do you have a new puppy? Are you seeking help from professionals who have real life experience…read moreproperly training dogs? If yes, look no further then the Canine Coach in Saint Paul. We took the 7-week introductory puppy course with instructor Brittany P. and it was a life saver. Brittany taught us how to control our puppy with techniques such as the quiet hold, zen activities, puppy socialization tactics to help with safety measures, and proper leash walking recommendations. This introductory class really helped us understand puppy behavior, how to course correct and integrate obedience training into our daily lives. Something ironic is that week #1 we had about 5 puppies and as every week passed, we ended up being the only group / puppy for the final 3 weeks so we basically got 1:1 attention! Not sure where / why others backed down but we still really appreciated all that Brittany was able to help us with. Her energy and enthusiasm for puppy obedience were outstanding. Within this puppy course, there are obedience steps you will learn in your training and then complete homework assignments where you will plug and play what you learned into your daily routine (IE: during outdoor walks, kennel time, feeding, sleeping, etc.) There is a generous parking lot on the side and there are two rooms within the building. I can only speak towards the top level as that is where my training was and the space felt very clean considering how many dogs visit each day. My understanding of the basement room is that it is used for agility training but I am sure you can confirm this on the website. We had so much fun that we will probably return for level 2 training. Thank you, thank you!

Clean facilities. Cons: If your dog attends the very expensive Boot Camp or Fit Dogs programs they spend 3-4 20 minute sessions with a trainer, the rest of the day your dog is in a kennel. My dog did both and I can't recommend. There is a lack of consistency between trainers. Take the same course with 2 different trainers, terms and methods will all be different. Communication with the office is difficult. I and 3 others I know who used them found the same. Last but definitely not least, serious lack of professionalism in trainers. My boy took the CGC course. He passed the practice test on the last week. I posted I was proud of him on a Facebook group. The following week he failed the official test. His trainer/evaluator went on the Facebook group and mocked us, saying we received divine retribution for bragging and need to eat humble pie. Needless to say we withdrew from the other classes he was registered for. The office has repeatedly ignored my requests to speak to someone about it.
