Ordered delivery and quoted time was 35-45minutes. I live 9 minutes away. I called at one hour to check on it, was told driver already left with food. Called back at 1hour and 20minutes and was told their driver took 7 orders and mine was almost next to get delivered. Sounds like they are short staffed and need to figure some stuff out. Not the world's greatest chinese place but definitely good enough. Solid sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoon. The fried rice could be better but it's certainly not bad; the meat ingredients that go into it are very good but the rice itself is lacking a bit. I only really go here when other people want to and I prefer China Wok in Imperial over this place by a lot. Still, not a bad place and it probably won't be long before I eat there again. read more

I was in the mood for Chinese and haven't had any since moving to STL so i had to start somewhere. Decided to give this place a whirl after grocery shopping. Will not go back as it was one star above inedible. This is the greasiest Chinese food I have ever had---in fact nothing I ever purchased on a stick from the state fair was even this greasy. I bit into a crab rangoon and grease dripped down my chin. I had no problem placing my order or the communication as some of the other yelpers--so no problem with service and they did seem to be very very busy--and handled it with professionalism and ease. I got an order of sweet and sour chicken, general tsos, and crab rangoon. My sweet and sour chicken was a little on the limp side and there was not one big chunk of pinneapple, green pepper, or onion in it. The fried rice was an odd color very brown and none of it had much flavor. My bill was 20.00 as most combo's are around the 7.00 range. The ladies bathroom was not the cleanest I have been in and it had two scraps of toilet paper only. wont be going here again.... read more

I rate 5 stars! There are so many choices for Chinese food, but great egg rolls and crab rangoon are a must for me. The egg rolls are always golden and crispy, and the filling is plentiful and delicious. The crab rangoon is large and stuffed with a lot of cream cheese. The General Tso's chicken is crispy and smothered in the rich, delicious sauce. I've also had their chicken with orange peel, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and sauteed mixed vegetables; all were excellent! Usually order takeout from here since it's the closest Chinese food place to my house. I give them an average rating of 3 because my food experiences in general have been mixed. Every time the crab Rangoon has been very plump, full of cheese, and fried to perfection. Some of the best around. The egg foo has also been good. My only complaint, which is the same for most Chinese establishments these days, is the consistency of the fried rice. Almost every time I eat here it's cooked good, fluffy and dry. On occasion though is seems overly saturated in oil which gives it a less than appetizing greasy taste. Overall, it's a good local Chinese food place. read more

Upon arrival the two staff members we saw seemed like they had nothing to do, with one laying in a booth, which was a little odd but I'd say this is your standard Chinese restaurant. They had good beef with snow peas and the crab Rangoon was one of the better I've had, which I tend to be picky about those. This place is a tiny little restaurant in the Arnold area in a strip mall. They do delivery which is how I first had Happy Wok and was really suprised with how awesome the Garlic Broccoli was. The staff are pleasant and struggle with English but work really hard to clarify the order. I would stay away from the Chicken it is grey and looks like it is poor quality. My husband got really sick the second time he ate it. I would say they have the potential to be really good but give inconsistent meals secondary to how busy they are at the time. read more

Yech We used to eat here a lot. Not anymore. One of my favorites was the chicken sticks. What they serve now is badly dried out, nearly inedible chicken burnt onto a stick. I'd compare it to chicken jerky but that would be an insult to the jerky. Also had sweet and sour chicken. Rice, fried breaded chicken and sweet and sour sauce. You get no veggies with this. The chicken is basically little nuggets over breaded so they look bigger. In some cases the breading hadn't even cooked all the way through. Gross. we won't be back. read more

I ordered chicken teriyaki and it was delievered promptly to my home. I tasted it and it was disgusting and gummy. I called to ask for an exchange and after a little back and forth he agreed to give me beef and broccoli instead. I went in to return it and he threw in the fried rice, and an extra egg roll for free. I was pretty satisfied. I should have checked but when I got home I had chicken and broccoli with the same gummy disgusting texture. At this point I'm hangry (hungry + angry). I called to let them know but I decided to let it go after he tried to tell me, "Well I asked if you wanted chicken and broccoli and you said yes." General Tso's chicken is amazing. Crab Rangoon is best in the county. This restaurant is also very clean, people are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. We purchased two lunch plates that came with crab Rangoon or an egg roll and two sodas for $13.00. We will be back. read more
