Even when I lived in Tucson for 6 years, I drove 2 hours so he could still do my hair! So my husband reviewed some salons in the Mesa area and came upon Omar Harb's salon. He has great reviews and beautiful pictures of blonde hair, but even after doing my research I was still so nervous about going to a new salon (as I have been doing my own hair for years). First thing I can say is he has a great personality,and great technique. I am strongly recommending his services , he did such an amazing job with my hair. I will forever go back to Omar!! Way overdue for a highlight. After waiting 2 weeks to be scheduled, I was ready for my Weds am appt. Even did my Rosemary castor oil root/ends treatment to protect my hair. Then my stylist texted me she was ill. With a head full of oil, I turned to yelp and started texting shops nearby, "Fine, shoulder length hair desperately needs partial highlight and trim." By a stroke of luck Omar was in on his day off helping someone else, and told me to be there in an hour. He easily got what I was looking for, very experienced yet not arrogant. I rarely get out of my regular stylists' chair in under 3 hours but Omar had me fixed up in just under 2 hours flat including blow dry. I don't recommend waiting until the last minute as he's a great stylist and sure to book up quick. Thanks so much for a last minute accommodation, Omar. read more

Mouammar not only gave me one of the best haircuts of my life, but he completed my transformation. I went through a sudden medical emergency. It left me with some physical challenges, but I became a stronger person. My physical appearance was the very last thing I cared about, and it showed. I requested help with dying my roots and removing the yellowishness my hair had and as you can see in the pictures he really delivered! Im truly happy with how my hair looks! Omar is one of the best hairstylists in Arizona, if not the country. I'd put him up there with Picasso. I made a HUGE mistake. I put semi-permanent red dye on my entire head of blonde. I stupidly assumed it would wash out quickly. Once I realized it wasn't going to budge, I called Omar. He responded quickly and assured me he would take care of it. He carefully removed the red and replaced it with a blonde. It left a pretty tinge of rose gold - I LOVED it. Best red dye mistake I have ever made, thanks to Omar. Do your hair a favor and make an appointment right now. And stop crying if you think you f'd up your hair because Omar is a color correction doctor. Look at my before and after pictures!! I made appt on Friday @9am, I arrived and right away We started and it was awesome! Omar asked me what I wanted and made it happen I was astounded, amazed and blown away by how great my hair looked! Omar is a miracle worker!!! I came in with an attempt from another hairstylist to make my hair look rose gold but mostly looked like pineapple upside down cake in the end. Yikes. He wasn't freaked out and told me he wouldn't leave the salon until I looked like a blonde bombshell again. And that's exactly what happened! I honestly cannot imagine going anywhere else for the rest of my life. It's like getting my hair done and a night out on the town all mixed in to one salon. Omar also lets me sample all of his new wigs. Highly, highly recommended!!! To add, Omar slayed again (of course) when he put these "great lengths" hair extensions in yesterday! They are worth every penny, are so lightweight, and, no one could even tell they were extensions while I was strutting around work today! This guy is amazing! I was just trying to get from my bright red that was becoming very orange at the top to a nice brown balayage but few places I tried going said it would be a process because my hair has been bleached and will be burnt to do it all at once, however I came to Omar and without hesitation after doing a quick test of removing red color in a small spot, educated me on what he can do in the healthiest way possible without more bleach to take off color! I was just going for a consult but I mentioned I had a wedding to go to and a family photoshoot the following day from the wedding and he said he can do it before my family compromises to look the best! I didn't think he would since he was booked he made it possible for me to feel ready for those days.He did miracles took less than expected and I'm 100% satisfied.I wish I could of found Omar way earlier! read more

This was my first visit to this salon, and unfortunately, it will be my last…read more Shortly before my appointment, I received a call asking if I would be willing to switch stylists to Ericka, I should have know when they said you don't have to she just does not have appointments. Since it was my first visit, I agreed. I showed her actual photos of myself with the haircut I always get, so there was no confusion about the style I wanted. Unfortunately, the haircut I received looked nothing like the photos. The layers are extremely choppy and uneven, and the face-framing section is much thicker and higher than I requested and does not blend well at all. The haircut is so uneven and choppy, I now have no choice but to wait until it grows out enough to get corrected. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but this is the first time I have ever gotten home to realize just how bad the cut is, I gave the benefit of the doubt I just needed to style it myself. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking with Ericka. I had high hopes for my first visit but am incredibly disappointed. Reply to Message Received I will be going to another salon, as I no longer feel comfortable returning after this experience. This should never have happened, and I cannot risk any further damage than has already been done. While I understand that your salon does not typically offer refunds, I believe there are circumstances, such as this one, where an exception is warranted. The haircut I received was not what I requested despite providing clear reference photos of my own hair, and the quality of the cut has left me with uneven, choppy layers. A refund would be an appropriate resolution given the circumstances.

OMG!! My hair was fried off!! So I was out of state for a while and had my hair done by a stylist that fried my hair, another one turned it green with toner!! My poor hair was a total mess and very unhappy as you can see from the pictures. I called Omar when I got back to AZ and he got me in right away. I've always had pretty light blonde hair, like almost forever and Omar never damaged it. But because of all the damage the other stylists created I needed a change. I showed Omar a few pictures of what I thought I wanted and within minutes he was mixing color and said, "I got you, trust me it's going to look beautiful", and he went to work! I thought I'd be there all day and I was in and out with a blow dry in less than 2 hours! Omar is extremely knowledgeable with color, color correction and is constantly keeping up with the newest trends and training. Even during these trying times of the pandemic he's fully stocked on products, seriously no joke when everyone was buying toilet paper he was buying product! His shop is always super clean and he takes pride in his work and that's why he has so many loyal clients. If you're looking for a great stylist he's your go to! I won't lie, I did a lot of research on different hair salons before I decided to go to Harb Hair. I wanted a place that had great customer service, wasn't too expensive, and provided great quality. After researching, I decided to trust Omar at Harb Hair to work on a balayage for the first time on my hair. I was extremely nervous because I didn't want my hair to be messed up. Omar did an amazing on my hair and I could not be happier with the end results. He is a great person to talk to about how to take care of your hair properly and literally about anything. My appointment was scheduled for 11-30-18 at 5:45pm. He never showed up (shop was closed even though the hours say he closes at 9pm), I waited outside for 15 min and left. Then Style Seat sent me a message asking if I would return I said no -- because this was the second time hes done this. Since then Omar has changed his reasons so many times that I had to contact the Style Seat admin department so I would stop receiving his jumbled rants that made no sense because I kept getting notifications. Leaving comments at 2AM, and texting my mother is not what I would call a professional. He said I was a bully, even though I never responded to his rants. He'll find a way to blame his customers even though it's completely his fault. Very unstable, good luck! read more

Omar was fantastic! I called about a half hour before I went in and he was able to fit me in, no problem. He did a major cut and color for me. He got me back to my barrels brown color!! He did exactly what I asked him to do and explained his process as he did it. He even styled it and explained to me how to give my body some life and volume, without me asking. I left the salon feeling confident that I could recreate the style that he did, because of how he walked me through how to do it! He was very professional, very kind, very courteous. I found Omar on Yelp and so glad I did. I originally went to him for a color correction and he was super helpful and accommodating. I had also been wanting to get hair extensions for a long time but I have super thin hair so never really thought it was possible without totally damaging what little hair I had. Lucky for me, Omar is certified in Great Lengths hair extensions! Omar is the man! He came in on his day off so he could be completely dedicated to putting in my hair. Omar is the BEST!!! I have blonde hair and I wanted to touch up my roots, he used OlAplex in the bleach and I can't believe how soft my hair is! I didn't have any breakage at all! His salon is super clean and very comfortable. There's pictures of him his family on the walls, 3 adorable boys and his wife who's expecting another boy. He's very friendly and affordable too! I've been going to see Omar for about three years now. I love that he knows exactly what to do to make my hair look great and style easily without me spending a lot of time on it. I know that if I had something specific that I was looking for, I could trust him to fulfill the request, but I prefer trusting his professional opinion and seeing what design he comes up with. I was not only impressed with the salon but withy stylist who was welcoming and really listened to me when I described what I wanted to do with my hair.
