When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.

I had just donated about 14 inches of hair to Locks of Love and my hair that was blonde when I was growing up had become dark blonde and just kind of boring. She took almost 4 hours on my hair, but I never felt like she was in a hurry. It felt like she knows that it takes time to create perfection and allows for that when she books her appointments. I have gotten more compliments on my hair and how natural it looks. What you see is what you get with Stacy - an honest, kind, funny, good-hearted person who wants you to feel awesome because she makes you look awesome.
