I received an order confirmation email from Ace. I called the store today to see if I could pick up the trimmer tomorrow and was told that their computer said not to fulfill the order. The rep suggested that I place the order again. I tried repeatedly to log in to Ace's website and even tried to order the trimmer as a guest, but the website was dysfunctional. So I found a similar trimmer at Lowes for $153 and ordered it there. I figured it was worth $13 to me to buy a trimmer without all the hassle I had to go through with Ace.

The are abundantly staffed, and the employees are knowledgeable and and always very helpful. The quality of the products they offer is often higher than what I find at the big box stores; and I'd rather buy something which will work well and last a long time than buy multiple iterations of lower quality products. Their downstairs area has top quality grills, and a fantastic selection. It's a gem of a hardware store.

I provided proof of employment and proof that I'm the manager, yet they still refused, demanding a letter. On top of that, they questioned what I was going to use the key for, as if I were a criminal. Frustrated, I went to a proper locksmith--no authorization required, no unnecessary questioning, and the key was made without hassle. Won't be returning here.

Ace was really wonderful about allowing my girl scouts to arrange booths with them. The manager was super easy to work with and flexible. It is great to have these local stores that will support other local opportunities! When I was there selling cookies with girl scouts i did go in and peruse a little bit after the sale was done and picked up a few items to show support back at them. They had a nice variety of items even energy bars or trail mix as I recall. That was some of the stuff i am pretty sure i picked up. The staff was super friendly! The store was clean and organized. They had a good supply of items. If i needed some items from a hardware store I would definitely support Ace! our small local businesses need us more than ever. The big boxes will survive.

We have never been to a better store than this particular location. Every time we purchased paint and a load of other items, we got great help from all of the employees we encountered. We were referred to Francisco Mendoza, a contractor affiliated with Home Depot to install our butcher block counter top and we hired him additionally to replace the windows as well. This gentleman was incredibly honest and his crew were very hardworking and accurate. They did an unbelievable job for us-even replacing an installed window that was defective after installed. Highly recommend this contractor and this particular Home Depot store.

As soon as someone with a brain saw my complaint, they immediately refunded my money. Stated its not his fault customers don't read, and he can't be expected to take back items and lose money. The business model here is very short minded and not customer friendly. You take the extra step and build a relationship with your customers, not speak of policies that serve who? I get my items and proceed to check out. After I pay for my items, I look at my receipt - I am charged a "Front Range Special PIF" fee of $2.43. I ask what is a Special PIF fee, which the cashier tells me - it is part of the HOA for the shopping center. I asked where is it posted, it is not on the door of the store, it is not posted at the cash register, so you charge people without disclosing this PIF fee, which he replied yes we do? How can a company charge someone without disclosing a fee prior? Wouldn't this be credit card fraud - to bill someone even a trivial amount without first notifying them. On top of it, they do not even discuss the fee amount - it appears to be a percentage of the sale, but what percentage? That is not even disclosed. I ask for the store manager, he refuse to come speak to me, they sent the register supervisor, then an assistant manager - but the store manager was to busy to come down. I feel this is total fraud - to charge someone any amount without their knowledge. To do it underhand, in a way most people would not even see it. A line across the top of the receipt that does not even line up with ones purchases. Wonder how many THOUSANDS of dollars a year they are getting away with?
