Airin the "Sales Supervisor" is so obnoxious. I brought in a 12 ton jack to exchange for a new one because it would not go back down after lifting. I explained to her i would like to test and see if the one i'm exchanging works going back down but the release was stuck so i asked for pliers and this woman just says no and makes no effort to help a customer so i just returned the whole jack instead you know because PEOPLE DONT HAVE A PAIR OF PLIERS IN A TOOL STORE. Harbor Freight you do yourself a disservice hiring 3rd world immigrants who barely speak english to work at your locations who have an obvious disdain and bias to the local white population. They claim their merchandise has better quality and price compared to other home centers, hardware and auto parts stores, but that's for the consumers to decide. The store is big with clean, organized aisles; each labeled so you can find what you're looking for. They are a few employees on the floor who are willing to assist you in what you're looking for as well. Harbor Freight sells the following: * Compressors/Generators/Hydraulics * Sandblasters * Paint supplies/Tie downs * Safety items/Work supports * Power tools/Air tools/ Various tools * Tool boxes/Work gloves/Sockets/Hand trucks * Plumbing/Electrical * Welders/Welding accessories * Automotive * Lighting...and many more items I came to Harbor Freight to look at prices for a string trimmer. While walking around the store to locate the item, I approached a pleasant male employee who was apparently stocking items on the shelf and asked him if he knew where it was. He was nice enough to walk me to the aisle where the item was and also showed me the price for the string trimmer lines. They had both an electric and a battery string trimmer at a more reasonable price than what Home Depot was selling one for. Now all I have to do is decide which one would be more efficient for me to use. Plus which ever one I choose, I can use the store's 20% off coupon. I made a note of other items I may need to come back for such as a drill, vacuum/blower, and pressure washer. read more

This store has so many different tools. You really can find the right tool for the job you are doing. I like that I can One Stop Shop and they have a lot of little nuts and bolts that even the big stores don't have. The thing I don't love is the way the tools are organized. There doesn't seem to be any logic to it and it is just like a line of tools on every aisle. There is not much signage. Also, the line to check out can get very long but it does move fairly quickly. Staff can be hard to find when you have a question. A very useful tip I have is to check out your local newspaper on Sundays because this store has useful coupons that can really pay off. Sometimes they have with any purchase you receive a 24 pack of batteries or a starting flashlight. You can only use one of these coupons per day. read more

I ordered a snake for electrical wires on 03/20/20 I checked on 03/25/20 it still hasn't been shipped out. Being that I needed it right away I e-mailed them to cancel the order so that I can buy it at Home Depot. I got an e-mail saying they have high volume e-mails and may not get to my e-mail right away. A while later they e-mail me that my order has been shipped. When I got the order I told the FEDEX driver I don't want to accept the package, so they took it back. Now my bank statement shows still charged, I e-mailed them telling them that if I don't receive a credit I will put in a dispute with the bank. Now I'm waiting to see what happens. It is not specifically the Harbor Tools in Hollywood (although having needed it right away and not being shipped yet they said I couldn't get it there). I drove down to this store after checking online that the torch I was looking for it was in stock. It wasn't. The drones that work there are as clueless as in any Home Depot or Lowes, I scoured the place for 20' and no luck. A total waste of my time. That's the reason for my 1 star rating. read more

Great prices but I end up walking out before I purchase anything because of the checkout lines. There's only one or two working and they're slow. I just waited in line for 15 minutes and left because the line did not move. Everyone behind me left as well. This is the Third time this has happened and I only continue to go because I live 5 blocks away and the prices are low. No more, I'll go to Home Depot or order it online. Putting one more cashier on the schedule will make you more money and make your customers and employees happier. read more
